About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- annabelclarke0 contributionsGreat way to see the Colorado! We were the only two participants on this trip with the guide so was very good service (although we felt obliged to assist with the paddling as it would have been a lot for the guide to do on his own). Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the area. The lunch was really nice, plenty of it and very nicely prepared. The rapids were good but not as big as I have previously experienced on other trips. The views were also great!Written December 11, 2024
- hayleykmurray0 contributionsa MUST DO while in Moab!WOW! What a fun experience. We had an absolute blast on our canyoneering/paddle combo tour, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip to Moab. And I can not recommend our guide enough - Thank you Collin!!!!! He was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and made us feel safe and supported the whole time. What really stood out was how well Collin tailored the experience for beginners such as ourselves. He was patient and did a fantastic job guiding us. The scenery was absolutely stunning and we got to see places I'm sure a lot of other tourist do not get to see. This trip is perfect for anyone looking to try something new, regardless of experience level. The blend of nature, excitement, and camaraderie made for a truly unforgettable day. Thank you again to everyone at Paddle Moab!Written October 22, 2024
- tonykQ5191OZ0 contributionsGreat first float trip in Moab!We had an excellent float with Landon today ! He was informative and very funny! He provided great insights into the area and shared some interesting facts about the river and Moab. He was simply Awesome! We will share your website with everyone we know!Written September 30, 2024
- 501ginnyk0 contributionsSo glad we chose to goToday, our friend group of six paddled down the Colorado with Landon. We were so glad we made the decision to go with Paddle Moab and were even more pleased that Landon was our guide. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and Landon did a terrific job as our guide. I’d recommend this company to anyone looking for a great whitewater rafting trip: Paddle Moab and Landon: five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Written September 30, 2024
- Resort274498410790 contributionsMountain Biking and Rafting DayGreat to combine these two activities - excellent guide Nate gave us a great day - our first visit to Moab. Kenny from Big Horn worked with Paddle Moab for an excellent “biathlon”. Great destination!Written September 18, 2024
- unicornplaytime0 contributionsPerfect Couples adventure! This was a great experience. Customer service from the entire team was warm and friendly. Our guide Nate was knowledgeable, experienced, good communicator, and engaging. We enjoyed our hike and the beautiful Moab canyon trail. Repelling views was by far so beautiful to see. Thank you Paddle Moab!Written September 15, 2024
- 23megq0 contributionsGreat Trip, Extremely Experienced GuidesGreat guide-Colin-nice group of people we met on the rafting trip. Beautiful scenery. Went on morning trip before the heat. 1/2 day was perfect!Written September 12, 2024
- rebeccafA7934XF0 contributionsNice meander with knowledgeable guideBeautiful meander down the Colorado river. Colin our guide was knowledgeable about all things Moab, geology and local information. Was lucky to join a wonderful groups of people. The rapids weren't fast with it being September, but we moved a little and got in for a quick dip at the end. Wonderful dayWritten September 12, 2024
- 14danielq0 contributionsGreat dayThis is a float trip but it’s fun and relaxing. Guide was great and well-informed. We actually took the half day trip which was four hours plenty during the warm temperatures.Written September 11, 2024
- ErinB31060 contributionsEntrajo Canyon - So Much Fun!We had a great time canyoning with Colin in the Entrajo Canyon. Colin was the best - informative, funny, patient, and most importantly, he made us feel safe the entire time. The canyon itself was awesome and beautiful. The experience was different than prior canyoning we've done. There is some rock scrambling up the canyon in the beginning, with Colin teaching and helping you with as needed. Each rappel is different. One of the best parts is walking / swimming through the water, especially in the heat of the summer. The Canyon is well suited for beginners and unique so that those with prior canyoning experience will have a lot of fun. This was a true highlight during our trip to Moab and we cannot recommend enough.Written September 9, 2024
- shellybK3604YR0 contributionsHalf day tripWe took the half day trip and enjoyed both the ride up to the drop off point and back again. We were told fun and interesting facts along the way. Our guide , Cole, was well spoken and had many interesting stories about the river and the beautiful mountains around us. We saw an otter and 2 deer as well as blue herons along the way. My husband had had a back surgery 8 months ago and we were worried it might be too rough but it was perfect. I highly recommend this rafting company!Written September 8, 2024
- TexasSharvi0 contributionsExcellent experience!!Hands down- the highlight of our trip to Moab! We hiked all throughout Arches NP and Canyonlands NP and had a great time, but the final day we met up with Landon at Paddle Moab and we are so happy that we did! From the time that we walked in the door- the entire staff is so pleasant and kind- and Landon was amazing. We told him that we're brand new to rappeling and knew nothing about it. He was knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful with us. Kudos to Landon and the entire group at Paddle Moab. We can't wait to come back and do it again!! So, so fun!!Written September 7, 2024
- damoh5830 contributionsAmazing views while on the waterThe views from the Colorado River are amazing and we had a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who -being a local- was also really insightful and open to all questions. The rafting itself was not as eventful as we’d hoped due to low water in the river in this part of the season (end of July), as she readily explained. But thanks to her we had a good time after all! The prizes are quite firm though.Written August 16, 2024
- johannanE50MH0 contributionsExcellent service, great experience! We rented Kayaks for our self guided float! Beautiful leisurely paddle for our family of four Paddle Moab was easy to rent with, and readily rebooked us from a rainy Tuesday to a sunny Wednesday within a days notice! Shayan took good care of us-prompt arrival to the meeting point, friendly, enthusiastic ride to our put-in spot at Big Bend. He made sure we had everything we needed…kayaks, paddles, life vests, dry bag, and straps for returning the boats on our truck. He provided great tips for our stretch of river and how to make the most out of the riffles. Affordable! Go to Paddle Moab!Written August 15, 2024
- OffaJW0 contributionsFantastic day our with the family and our guideDuring a three day trip to Moab we decided to explore rafting in the canyon and fortunately came to Paddle Moab. With a very laid-back atmosphere and mom-and-pop operation, we set out with our guide, Jef, on a full day trip down the canyon. Not only he was extremely nice and helpful in every way, we truly enjoyed his deep knowledge of the canyon and surrounding lands and every story he told us. Now, don't expect any real white water or big rapids, at least not in August which is when we went, but think of it as an enjoyable peaceful day of floating, swimming and enjoying the fantastic views.Written August 13, 2024

Loved my paddle boarding experience with Paddle Moab!! Super friendly staff, very helpful and knowledgeable!! Easy booking, answered all of my day of paddle questions, made me feel like they 💯 cared about my experience while in Moab. Stash was so friendly on the phone and in person preparing for us for the paddle. Met a very nice staff employee that I spoke with, but unfortunately did not catch her name. Ben was my paddle tour guide and made the whole experience really unique and fun!! He was knowledgeable about the area, the best spots on the river and totally kept us entertained (he can do yoga headstands☺️). Ben was awesome and patient, especially with a clumsy gal like myself. He took a bunch of photos of our group and just made the experience really special. If you are in Moab and want to get out on the water, I highly recommend Paddle Moab!!

Most of the trip down the river was lovely. Our guide spotted 3 big horn sheep which were cool to see and pointed out many features in the rocks. High quality paddle boards and a life saving guide made this experience memorable. The friend I was with kept falling behind, and when the wind came in right before we were done, Beven, our guide, told me to get to the launch with the others in our group and she stayed behind and got my friend to safety, even swimming them to the launch while my friend was absolutely exhausted. Beven was an absolute rockstar in this harrowing experience for my friend. The rest of us struggled to get ourselves to the boat launch working against the waves, and our fantastic guide swam herself, 2 boards and my friend over.
While it was a rarer incidence of high wind, it's always a good reminder to keep going strong when a storm could roll in. Thank you Paddle Moab for an enjoyable time on the Colorado before the storm and for hiring a capable young woman to serve as our guide.

We had a wonderful experience paddle boarding down the Colorado River with Shaggy and Bailey! Toward the end we got caught up in an unexpected storm and their crew came out to get us to ensure our safety. We truly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend paddle boarding with Paddle Moab.

We called three hours before our trip and asked them about their weather policy because it was 57 degrees with wind up to 19mph. They refused to reschedule us for the next day or the following and insisted this was perfect weather even when I told them I had a child with us! Don’t go here ! Horrible experience. Should have common decency to not have patrons go out at 57 degrees.

Patrina,
I am sorry you feel this way and I am a bit confused on what you are saying as you were rebooked.
Yes you booked a trip for Friday May 20th at 8:30am. We are at the shop at 7:45 to get ready for the day. All of our trips that day went out and had a wonderful time, it ended up not being that cold or windy. Moab has very interesting weather patterns as it is a high desert and weather can come and go very quickly. Not to mention every company in Moab had trips out on the water this day.
As for the rescheduling I am looking at your reservation as I am typing this and I see we did reschedule you for the same tour two days later on Sunday May 22 at 8:30 am. You were a "no call no show" on Sunday. We called you multiple time and sent a text message on Sunday morning.
I am not sure where the miscommunication came from. It is very hard to change a reservation at the last minute and our office team did everything they could and were able to move your trip to Sunday. It is all documented.
The "Flatwater Fun" paddle trip on the Colorado River is a great trip and a beautiful way to see the Moab area.

Do you know what an Easter Jeep Safari is? We sure didn’t! So join us on a trip into the busiest, loudest, most “supped” up week in Moab. Nothing against these engine enthusiasts, just not our vibe and not what we were expecting. We sort of stumbled into booking with paddle Moab after being unsure how to navigate the uncharted territory of adult big wheelers and their posses. Enter our ‘guy’, Hunter. He seemed just as stoked as we were to be out on the Colorado river! Hunter indulged our interest in desert life, educated us on the geographical and ecological beauty of the area, he even attempted a few jokes. By the end of our trip we felt one (well three) with the river and could easily take on some class two rapids brah! Also there was an office boy who seemed nice. Thanks guys, for keeping us safe, getting us wet, and showing us what Moab is about. Call us if you’re ever in Denver.

Trip leaders Ben and Tayghan took a group of inexperienced standup paddleboarders and created a fantastic, fun experience down the river in a canyon surrounded by the stunning imposing red cliffs typical of Moab. We expected an easy float on a calm river but the wind challenged us and tossed a few of us in the refreshing water. We worked hard but the trip leaders adjusted for the conditions and kept it fun and safe. They were super friendly and enhanced the trip which was amazing in itself just for the landscape. I would recommend the trip, the company and definitely our leaders.

We spent about 3 hours on calm river waters and had a blast! Hunter taught us the best way to splash others on the trip using the SUP paddle. It sure cooled us off. Hunter was really chill when people fell which calmed all of us. We had a super fun group. I would definitely recommend Paddle Moab for a fun morning, afternoon or day on the water!

Absolutely loved our time on the Colorado river with Lindsey. The winds made us work for it some but we keep talking about how great it was and so happy we did it. We were a little worried about the distance in the beginning but then sad to see the take out because we didn't want to get off the river. The perspective from the river with the red rock was just spectacular. Highly recommend!!

We had such a good time. The waters were very calm/flat and we felt very safe. Laura/Dewey was a great guide. She’s lived in the area for many years so we really got to learn a lot about the history of Moab. Very relaxing way to see Moab!

Our guide was fantastic, and the staff at the business were incredibly helpful. Paddleboarding the Colorado River through this part of the state was an amazing and unique experience. The turns and bends along the trip, paired with the spectacular landscapes and views, made it unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Never paddle boarded before. 60 year olds. How difficult is Flat Water Fun going to be for us?
Written September 4, 2019
I think it would be pretty easy. I am not a huge paddle-boarder myself but I am in my mid-20s and pretty active. The flatwater fun is such a slow-paced and truly flat part of the river, you can always sit or kneel on the board if you need and I don’t think it would take away from the experience at all. I have horrible, almost comically bad balance, and I was totally comfortable.
