        Adam was Great!
We had the best time on the tour. Adam was our guide and was absolutely amazing. He is not only incredibly smart, but also a great driver on the crazy back country terrain, and he took tons of pictures for us which was awesome! He had a great sense of humor and was just fun to be around for the day. If it all possible try to get him for your tour!

        Heights and Thrills
Excellent. Beautiful Scenery and our tour guide was great. I'm sorry but I don't remember his name as we were on a month long road trip. WARNING-If you are afraid of heights be prepared to push your limits or don't go. I was VERY afraid, but I'm glad I did it! The old school Toyota Landcruisers were nice and comfortable. oh yeah, I saw the sights associated with WESTWORLD.

Great time on Arches and Canyonlands 4x4 Adventure from Moab tour
I took the Arches and Canyonlands 4x4 Adventure from Moab tour in December and missed the peak season crowds. On this particular tour, we drove in a 4x4 through the back country and I felt closer to nature than in a typical national park tour. In addition to the sites of natural beauty, I learned about commerce in the area (i.e. Potash production and uranium mining). We also viewed dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, and rock art sites. I want to compliment the tour guide who was a wealth of knowledge and kept our attention during the tour. He also asked the group what specifically they wanted to see during the tour. The 4x4 vehicle was comfortable and easily made it through the back country.

        Needles District
What an exhilarating trip! I don't know if I was more blown away by Charlotte's driving skills or the views because both were equally as impressive lol. Each turn was spectacular. Lunch was delicious & fitting we stopped to eat in the Devil's kitchen. Getting to see the petroglyphs gave a tiny glimpse as to how old these rocks are & how much history is stored within the canyon walls. The needles were so cool to see. Glad we did this tour at the beginning of our trip because it definitely set the bar for the rest of the days. Charlotte & Adam were incredibly informative & such a good time. Would highly recommend

        Awesome 4x4 tour
This trip was amazing. The Toyota land cruiser got us places no other vehicle could. Literally. We saw some amazing sights that a tiny % of people see unless they do this tour or hike for 20 miles. Our guide Bus, was very knowledgeable and was genuinely invested in the experience.

Unique and Special Tour Thanks to Liz
We booked this as a private tour by buying out the third seat. Overall, the tour was quite good, despite some challenges, but because of Liz, our outstanding driver/guide, we had a better tour that we may have had otherwise. The original jeep that was assigned to Liz (not here usual jeep) started having some brake issues after we had just entered Canyonlands National Park. Due to her attentiveness, Liz identified the issue long before it manifested into something worse (i.e., flying over the edge of a cliff road, followed by deceleration trauma–ouch!). Liz was very apologetic that we needed to turn around and get a different jeep. We completely agreed. As a result of the delay, we ended up exploring Arches National Park earlier than planned (including seeing some nearby dinosaur tracks–which resonated with my inner ten-year-old). The second jeep had a slight shimmy in its steering, so instead of going to Canyonlands, Liz took us around to a number of places tht she went to both growing up and as an adult, including a watering hole and beach where she learned to swim, as well as numerous petroglyph sites (many of which are not on the regular tour). We never made it into Canyonlands, but instead were treated to an outstanding tour of Arches and a very personalized tour of the Moab area. What could have been a major disappointment was, through Liz’s efforts, a unique and special experience. And, due to her attentiveness and mechanical knowledge, a safe and enjoyable experience. Lunch is included in this all day tour and kudos to the chef for a delicious lunch. Thank you Liz for an incredible tour. Next time, we will need to do Canyonlands together.

Go Navtec, before you go home...
Spent a 1/2 Day in Arches with Yuri and then another 1/2 Day in Canyonlands with Bus. Two FANTASTIC Guides with tons of local, backcountry information to share, all while seeing the Parks from their hidden/back entrances. This is the BEST way to experience & learn about these rugged, severe, absoltuely stunning landscapes. Don't just drive the paved, loop roads with the rest of the tourist crowd... Jump in a gnarly 'Yota 4X4, get some dust in your teeth, and see the backside of these amazing Parks that most people don't even know exist. Admittedly, we were there in the "off-season", but on each of our 4+ hours of off-roading (and know that these so called 'roads' are NOT for the faint of heart!), we may be say 4-6 other vehicles. So, to be pretty much alone in these magical places - worth EVERY PENNY! Go Navtec, before you go home...

4 x 4 tour in Arches Park, Moab Utah
Wow. I guess I didn't really know what they meant by 4x4. We went through the park and saw amazing things. Our guide Adam decided we could handle the bumps and turns and I swear we were almost vertical at times. I didn't know anything about the world of 4x4 and that drivers and roads are graded for technicality-but I quickly learned. A couple of times I just closed my eyes but I'd definitely do it again. It was thrilling!!

        Once in a Lifetime Experience
Bus our driver was just the best. My friend wanted to do this tour and I went along reluctantly. Not because I do not like adventure but because of the cost. It was worth every penny and was the best thing we did in Utah. The back country tour of Canyonlands was unbelievable. Our driver Bust told us so much about the history, geology, and biology of this unique area. He was really a skilled driver and made this tour so fun. I cannot recommend this tour and this driver any more strongly

        Lovely time
Josh was a. Wonderful guide, very informative and had some good stories. Beautiful trip!! On a sour note one of the other passengers was coughing the entire trip and phoned the company after the trip to say he had tested positive for Covid, fortunately neither my daughter nor I became sick.

        Perfect way to experience Canyonlands
We did the 1/2 day Canyonlands tour. This was a fabulous trip, and just what we had hoped for. Our driver/guide Blaine was knowledgable, fun, and very friendly. This tour is a great way to get "into" Canyonlands and experience its beauty below the rim. I would highly recommend it.

        ASK FOR BLAINE!
This tour exceeded expectations. The landscape alone was enough to floor me but Blaine was INCREDIBLE. He’s the local bearded historian. He was so knowledgeable about so much about this area including geological history and Native American history. He rocks rocks and that’s not a typo. This tour is not an official “national park” tour. It’s a backroads tour of canyonlands. Your aren’t going to see touristy stuff. - You can go to the park on your own for that! Buckle up and get ready for a bumpy ride. Ask for some Yee-haw moments. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a blast! We did half day family rafting with Cooper as our guide (2 adults, 2 kids ages 12 and 9). The river was calm, as noted in other reviews, but you can't really blame the rafting company for that. There were three rapid-ish sections and the kids got splashed through them, which they loved. Also, the speedboats on the river gave us wake and splashes which was fun. Had time to get out for a swim. The real highlight was our guide, Cooper! He was engaging with the kids and they traded puns (some of them awful... in a good way). He really had to work against the headwind but had a great attitude about it. Just enough naturalist information (birds, wildlife, rocks, etc) to keep mom and dad interested but not bore the kids. We'd love to come back and do a full day or multiday tour.

We loved the rapids and kids loved getting in the water when calm. Our guide allowed individuals to try rowing which gave a good perspective and super respect for the rower. But the best part of the trip was Hannah, our guide. Friendly, thoughtful, informative, and clearly in control of the boat as she maneuvered the boat through rapids giving everyone in our party of 11 a chance to get a surprising splash of water. Thanks Hannah, we loved it.

We had a mixed group, ages 8 to 53, and needed a low key trip. Yes, some elders and teens were bored with riding. Some were impressed and grateful for the rowing captain, especially since the river flow was low and there were lots of times when they needed to row our heavy crew or else we'd be floating up stream. They had extra snacks for the kiddos (thank you!) and plenty of water. Even though we were the afternoon (post-lunch) group, the guides were cheerful and kind. I would most definitely recommend this as a first trip or easy introduction to rafting.

We were super excited ready for adventure. We arrived at Navtec and checked in no problem. 15 minutes after the scheduled time of departure we were asked if we had checked in which we had. Five minutes later we were told that they did not have record of us, fast-forward five minutes more they "found our reservation" We were then told that we would have to cram into the small van and thanked for our patience. At this point we felt like we were being punished for something by being placed in the small van. We were crammed in the van with many other people. We were signed up for the afternoon 1/2 day white water rafting trip. We arrived at the rafting site where we waited at least 1/2 to an hour before our rafting trip began. We were offered lunch but had just had lunch before we left for the trip. We had no idea 15 minutes into our trip we would be eating lunch. It seemed like a waste of time we much rather would have been picked up later and started the rafting trip straight away. I have to say the staff was amazing but rapids were very minor almost non existent. It was a fun trip but not what I excepted at all. I can't say that we would do this trip again it was not what we were excepting.

We were expecting a white water rafting trip as the picture above shows... what we got was a nice, leisurely lunch river side then a slow hours long float trip where our guide, Lake, paddled.

Don't get me wrong, he made it super pleasant with tidbits and stories along the way - but it was definitely for first timers who have never been on a river before.

If you're looking for rapids or a whitewater adventure - this is not the trip for you. If you're looking for a slow pace for small children with several spots to jump in and swim/float next to the boat then this is your adventure.

We went with a group of eight. Four adults and four boys ages 11 to 16. We did the half day rafting tour, met the guide at Navtec on Main Street, was shuttled up Highway 128 to the put in point and everyone wore masks inside the building as well as the van. Our guide was Will with Navtec and he was fantastic. We had the eight of us and Will in one raft and enjoyed going down the Colorado river experiencing class 1/2 rapids. I have never been rafting before and I really enjoyed it. There were a couple of times when we were able to jump out of the boat for a quick swim which was very refreshing. The boys were looking for something a little bit more exciting but not with their mama next to them LOL! I was too nervous. It was an excellent experience for a first timer. If you are looking for something a little bit more exciting with class 3/4 rapids then maybe Westfall (I think that’s what it was called) would be a better option and this company, Navtec, offers tours down there as well. Would definitely recommend as a morning tour to experience the beauty of Moab!

We called Navtec adventures last minute and htey squeezed out group on 13 on a raft and an inflatable kayak. The drive to the river from Moab was short and sweet and when we got to the river it was a few minutes of prep and anticipation and we paddled down hte river with our guide.

The water was cold, the company was great and surroundings were amazing.

We enjoyed our 1/2 voyage. It was just enough adventure for all in our party adrenaline junkies and 8 year olds.

Excellent gentle rafting tour down the Colorado River. Our tour guide, Ethan, was MOST excellent in ensuring the safety of the passengers. He also maneuvered the raft through both the calm currents and the white water currents making the trip a very enjoyable one with some surprises. He provided information of the area, allowed anyone who desired to row the raft and/or to swim in the River. Spectacular scenery floating downriver w mesas and rock formation. Would highly recommend this rafting trip!

Dannie, our guide, did a great job guiding our raft down the river, giving us lots of details and stories. She made our trip very pleasant. There were eight other people on our raft and we enjoyed getting to know them over the 4 hour trip.
