      Moab a must do vacation.
Great time, beautiful parks and breath taking scenery. White water rafting was a lot of fun, not to hard great guides. Spent a day in the desert on side by side, hot but great time. Would defiantly go back a second time.

I took my 13 year old nephew on a 1/2 day class 1/2 rafting trip and it was fantastic for him. Jake was our guide and he was funny and a really engaging guide who made my nephew feel comfortable and excited at the same time.

      Rafting colorodo river
My husband and myself done half day rafting trip which was really nice. Guides were super nice kept conversation going within our group knowledgeable of the information she told us. Learned alot from her didn't know before hand which was very interesting. The water was super cold but felt good for the first time rafting was lot fun wished we had had bigger rapids to go thru but that was my for not choosing the right trip. Recommend these people to do tours with alot fun well worth the money and was able to schedule evening before the trip.

Great way to beat the heat in Moab!
Great way to spend a morning in Moab! From signup and payment to arrival and safety checks, Red River made things seamless. The entire team was super fun and outgoing while clearly being experts on both rafting and the surrounding terrain. They pointed out lots of interesting facts about the incredible landscape and wildlife during the bus ride to/from the river and along the river itself. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and our raft guide Emily was a lot of fun, ensuring we all had a safe and memorable time. We've done multiple other trips with this company and they're always first class. Next trip with Red River to ski some pow in Japan!

      Back again
This was our sixth year in a row that we've come back to Red River. Great adventure. Great thanks to Carl for doing the reservation for Large group of people that kept being added and subtracted. Made it simple. Great shout out to Liz for being such a wonderful River guide. Her knowledge was great. Awesome! Nice shout out to kira. Anybody that looks at the group and says hey. Aren't you the engineers from New Mexico that were here for the great storm of 2022 is a great thing to attest to the fact that they care so much for their customers. Highly recommend

More lazy river than white water rafting
The scenery was amazing but the river was pretty low and we were underwhelmed with the rapids. Still made the best of it enjoying a half day on the water. Savanna was great and kept it fun.

Very professional. We booked double sit kayak to have more action. We really enjoyed the nature, swimming in Colorado river and passing all those rapids by our own. Wold do again.

Nice way to see the rocks
We felt we were in good hands with Kenzie. Friendly, supportive and safe. The rocks were beautiful and fun. We were worried that it would be too hot but it was in the shade so it was ok. Thanks!

      Beautiful scenery - recommend
My 24-year old son and I went on the half day rafting trip. Gorgeous scenery and great crew. Will was our guide and read the people on the boat well. Fun time. Safety was discussed. Only thing I wish I’d known was that we’d only have about 2 hours on the river for the half-day package due to travel time in the bus and the safety briefings. A few rapids but nothing scary. Mostly leisurely float in the boat with a chance to jump in the water a few times.

      Magical experience
Great experience! The area is stunningly beautiful. The trip guides and staff were super. The gear was in great shape. Logistics and lunch were superior. The key was all with the guides and staff; they were excellent at their jobs and focused on safety. However, their attitudes and focus on clients were outstanding.

Great experience! You won't regret booking a rafting tour here
An absolut recommendation! These guys are so nice, capable to guide and much caring. We've had a blast at our full day rafting tour. And that with a six year old with us. If you have the chance to have Maggy on your boat/trip, congrats. She is simply phenomenal. A Moab local and she will share her knowledge with you, if you want to. Please tip her well, she deserves it. But the other guys have been great as well. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

Great Way to Spend an Afternoon
Great mix of floating and some rapids that the whole family loved. Jake, our guide, was knowledgeable and fun. Would highly recommend for a family with tweens and teens.

Excellent beginner trip with a wonderful guide!
Excellent first-time rafting experience for families. Our 10-yr old twins got front row seats for class I/II rapids and a chance to float alongside the raft in a calm stretch. They had tons of fun and I felt confident in their safety. Our guide Kira entertained the bus with jokes, anecdotes, history and geography on the drive up, and took time to point out wildlife and landmarks on the raft down. She made everyone feel welcome and kept conversation going while directing the raft. It took a bit to get rolling after all guests arrived onsite but otherwise ran smoothly and was a refreshing adventure I highly recommend after a few hot days of red rock scrambling!

Nathan led us on our canyoneering adventure. He was AWESOME! This was the most challenging adventure ever. After a short drive, we scaled a very high wall up To the top and began our excursion. We had two rappels, the first put you into the water and the second being the longest (approx 120 ft). Nathan was very engaging and patient. The hike after final rappel put us a short walk from the van. I wish there would’ve been a few more rappels during this tour!

Red River Adventures does a great job keeping every one safe-they wear masks at check in and the guides will be masked up during the drive. They will also wear a mask on the tour if you ask them to do so.

Wow this experience was one I will remember forever. My boyfriend and I did this tour to celebrate his birthday and it was such a fantastic trip! We loved our guide Adam. He was very patient, informative, funny, and entertaining. There were parts of the route that were very precarious but he made us feel safe and taught us the correct way to move around the canyons.

At one point a 10 year old girl on our tour was crying because she didn’t want to rappel down the 80 foot wall, but Adam was very patient and calmed her down and she ended up rappelling down with him.

I would recommend this trip to anyone that is outdoorsy and wants to experience something challenging. I’d do this again 100 times over.

    Thanks guys!

Wow! Thanks for the review. Trips like this really shed some light on how our guides play such a huge part in making trips special. Having the ability to comfort and coach a scared kid and still entertain and educate the adults on trip is not easy and Adam packaged that into something that could be done "100 times over". Thanks for canyoneering with us and for writing!

My fiance and I completed the Rock of Ages Canyoneering tour with Mitch as our guide and we absolutely loved it! Lots of rock scrambling, beautiful views, and awesome rappelling. We were really grateful that the experience was early in the morning as it was starting to get hot by the time we ended the tour. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, Mitch was terrific! He was knowledgeable and made everyone feel safe as this was the first time rappelling for the majority of the group. Mitch was also very experienced and outgoing, constantly offering to take photos so everyone could remember the experience. Mitch also gave great food recommendations in Moab as well other beautiful areas to hike. 10/10 recommend booking this tour with Mitch as your guide! You won't regret it!

As a family of 4 with 2 daughters ages 9 & 11, we were impressed with the guides and their level of attention and safety for the rappelling. A great adventurous hike brings you up to a peak and from there a series of 4 rappelling, kids were thrilled and so were we. Highly recommend.

My friend and I traveled down to Moab for the week and I signed us up for Canyoneering with Red River Adventures and WOW what a great experience. I had never done something like that so needless to say I was nervous. The guides, Brian and Sharbo, were so knowledgeable, patient with questions, and kept it fun with jokes and fun facts about the rocks, canyon, and their experiences in Moab. This was truly one of the best things I’ve ever done!!

Brian and Sharbo, thank you for making us feel so safe, confident and excited to do something out of our comfort zone. You two made this experience so memorable and exciting. It is truly one I’ll never forget!

To anyone thinking about this activity, I highly recommend doing it and if you can, request Brian or Sharbo as your guides!

Our group of 6 went canyoneering with Dan at Bow & Arrow and had an amazing time!! The hike was fun and Dan's knowledge of the petroglyphs, plants, etc made it a more unique experience from just hiking the parks on your own. The canyoneering itself was such an an amazing, unique experience. It was the first time for 5 of us and we all left saying we'd canyoneer again. Knowing that it was the first time for most of us and that a couple of us had a fear of heights, Dan put us at ease and made us feel safe. As an added bonus, Dan recommended 2 Moab restaurants that we all loved (98 Center and Love Muffin Cafe). All in all, 5 star experience!

Well, this one pretty much says it all! I constantly say that our guides elevate the experience beyond the activity itself and Dan seems to have nailed it on this trip. Fun, safe, and lots of additional information about everything from 1200-year-old rock art to where to find a great muffin and coffee, everything a trip should have! We've got a handful of canyoneering routes that we guide. If you return to Moab we'd be happy to show you another. Thank you for coming we really appreciate you! Carl

I had such an amazing time canyoneering the Bow and Arrow trip today with Dan. Dan was kind, engaging and patient from the moment I arrived at check-in. As a person that has a fear of height, Dan was able to make our group feel comfortable by walking us though each hike and each rappel. The 120’ rappel was amazing!! He also did a great job ensuring we enjoyed the beautiful views as we rappel. I definitely recommend Red River for canyoneering!!

It was the highlight of our trip to Moab, UT. Our guide, Sharbo, was very good with explaining what needs to be done and guided each of our steps when needed. If we were feeling scared/nervous he took the time to make us feel more secure and safe before moving on. It was a challenging course but we were able to complete it and felt very accomplished afterwards. I highly recommend it. Do try for the morning time slot as it gets very hot quickly - however when there is an occasional shade It’s very pleasant as it’s dry heat.

Our group of 3 woke up early (7 AM start) for the trip with Dan as our guide. Our tour included a walk by dino tracks, petroglyphs and a scenic canyon. Then the fun started with rapelling. Even with my fear of heights, Dan was sure to make us feel confident in our abilities and ably got us through the rapelling. His easygoing personality and great knowledge made this a fantastic trip. Some of us were ready to sign up for another 1/2 day trip on the spot. Highly recommend Dan and Red River!

I rarely write reviews but find that this group really deserves it! I went on the Bow and Arrow Canyoneering Trip with two families of 4, my husband, myself, and our guides - Adam and Dan. The whole experience was top notch and truly felt like the cherry on top for our last day in Moab. The 3 mile hike up to the Canyoneering portion itself was beautiful and private. The canyoneering portion consisted of 4 rappels, which was so worth it as other trips had less (but longer) rappels. Most importantly, Adam and Dan were AMAZING. They had us laughing, taught us about the area, helped members along the hike, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable during the rappels. They were very encouraging and kind to those who felt apprehensive, which allowed everyone to fully enjoy this memorable experience. Thanks again! :)
