- Dmd12310 contributionsGreat adventure!A friend recommended the Bow and Arrow hike and canyoneering experience. I have to admit I was nervous but booked our family (2 19 year old DD) none of us had done anything like this. The hike was moderate difficulty but great scenery and lots of knowledge by Cage. Adam definitely added some comic relief. They led us thru 4 rappels. Both guides were attentive and supportive of the group. We highly recommend!Written August 17, 2024
- kristinmN2216WD0 contributionsGreat excursionGreat day with some hiking in a beautiful area, en route to the rappelling experiences. It was very hot, and the hiking did involve some tricky sections. Could be challenging going for some younger kids. The guide, Cage, was excellent and was able to provide extra help to a younger participant who was anxious. We felt safe.Written August 10, 2024
- Joao L0 contributionsThe Harder the better experienceFor everyone that did rappel before you should pick a moderate or hard tour I pick easy and it was ok . Is 2 really small rappels and 2 ok but the views are really good and Adam it was a really good guideWritten August 9, 2024
- eavon08100 contributionsHiking and rappelling at Bow and Arch CanyonSo freaking FUN!! First time canyoneering for everyone in our group ages 9 to 50s and we all had a blast. The awesome guide team of Adam and Cage was fantastic. They kept us all laughing but feeling secure. The hike up was moderate and provided great views of the La Sal mountains, dino tracks, Long Bow Arch and petroglyphs. We completed a total of 4 rappels. The first was a great intro on how to lean and shift weight. They only got more exciting after that. Great core memories for our whole family. We would do this again for sure. Highly recommend!Written August 8, 2024
- 324joshuaa0 contributionsNice way to see the rocksWe felt we were in good hands with Kenzie. Friendly, supportive and safe. The rocks were beautiful and fun. We were worried that it would be too hot but it was in the shade so it was ok. Thanks!Written July 26, 2024
- 365karrm0 contributionsMagical experienceGreat experience! The area is stunningly beautiful. The trip guides and staff were super. The gear was in great shape. Logistics and lunch were superior. The key was all with the guides and staff; they were excellent at their jobs and focused on safety. However, their attitudes and focus on clients were outstanding.Written July 16, 2024
- Philippe80 contributionsGreat experience! You won't regret booking a rafting tour hereAn absolut recommendation! These guys are so nice, capable to guide and much caring. We've had a blast at our full day rafting tour. And that with a six year old with us. If you have the chance to have Maggy on your boat/trip, congrats. She is simply phenomenal. A Moab local and she will share her knowledge with you, if you want to. Please tip her well, she deserves it. But the other guys have been great as well. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.Written July 11, 2024

- 406evanr0 contributionsScenic float with some splashesI did the full day whitewater rafting trip with Red River. The whitewater is pretty tame. The biggest rapid was Whites and it was still fairly easy. But the scenery is stunning. Our guide was Emily, who was fairly new and still learning the ropes but was very chill. Liz was our lead and she was great (very much the archetypal rafting guide). Lunch was delicious (curry chicken salad or mediterranean chickpea salad). All in all a fun scenic trip. Next time I would do the inflatable kayaks. Given how tame the rapids were, the kayaks would be a bit more fun than the rafts. Don't forget to tip your guide. If you forget cash, ask for their Venmo.Written June 6, 2024
- B204SNandreac0 contributionsChallenging, fun, and informativeThe bow and arrow canyonering trip is challenging and so satisfying. It was an absolutely amazing and unforgettable time. The best part though was our guide Kenzie!! Not only did she coach us, motivate us, and celebrate with us but she gave us the best recommendations for the rest of our trip. Every one of the recommendations she gave that we tried was fire!Written June 3, 2024
- X1287ULwilliamw0 contributionsHeaven on the Colorado RiverHad an incredible time on this tour, the guides were great, so friendly and fun, really good energy. We saw some baby bald eagles and great blue herons! The rafting was tons of fun but not scary, the scenery was epic, one of the best experiences of my life. Shout out to our tour-guide Liz, she made the whole trip unforgettableWritten May 27, 2024

Spent the afternoon on the river with Seth as our guide. They did a great job with managing Covid guidelines.....we had a raft with just our family & Seth (guide). Masks were worn on the bus as well as social distancing.
Seth made us comfortable from the start. He was knowledgeable about rafting and the area. He made it fun for all of us. He did a great job keeping everyone happy. Overall a great trip with a friendly guide.
Thanks RR....we are hooked!!

We were greeted quickly and fitted for a personal flotation devices and completion of the paperwork was easy. We loaded onto a bus and even though there was no air-conditioning it was not miserably hot. The tour guide, Tate, was very entertaining with stories and pointing out rocks in interesting shapes along the 45 minute drive to the drop site.
I feel like we had a very good introduction to safety in the raft as well as how to use the paddle. Even though the river was on the slow side, I never felt like we had to paddle all the time. We got to take it at a nice and relaxed pace and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There were plenty of opportunities to get in the water and cool off.
Our guide, Tate was very friendly, competent and fun and made our trip very special.

Excellent first-time rafting experience for families. Our 10-yr old twins got front row seats for class I/II rapids and a chance to float alongside the raft in a calm stretch. They had tons of fun and I felt confident in their safety. Our guide Kira entertained the bus with jokes, anecdotes, history and geography on the drive up, and took time to point out wildlife and landmarks on the raft down. She made everyone feel welcome and kept conversation going while directing the raft. It took a bit to get rolling after all guests arrived onsite but otherwise ran smoothly and was a refreshing adventure I highly recommend after a few hot days of red rock scrambling!

Initially was a little disappointed the trip was class 1-2 but that disappointment was very short lived. Jake (from State Farm), our captain/guide was masterful in steering us into the rapids, definitely making them feel more like a class 2. All in all it was a fun fun time... Highly recommended doing it.

We had never white water rafted before, but were looking for something adventurous to do while in Moab. Red River Adventures came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. My family and I (which included two children ages 13 and 10) had an amazing time on the river. Our guide Brian was knowledgeable, and funny. He worked really well with my daughters and kept them engaged and safe. The actual rafting part was about 3 hours. We went through 4-5 rapids which were about Level 1-2. I would highly recommend if you are looking for some adventure on your trip.

My husband and myself done half day rafting trip which was really nice. Guides were super nice kept conversation going within our group knowledgeable of the information she told us. Learned alot from her didn't know before hand which was very interesting. The water was super cold but felt good for the first time rafting was lot fun wished we had had bigger rapids to go thru but that was my for not choosing the right trip. Recommend these people to do tours with alot fun well worth the money and was able to schedule evening before the trip.

Great way to spend a morning in Moab! From signup and payment to arrival and safety checks, Red River made things seamless. The entire team was super fun and outgoing while clearly being experts on both rafting and the surrounding terrain. They pointed out lots of interesting facts about the incredible landscape and wildlife during the bus ride to/from the river and along the river itself. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and our raft guide Emily was a lot of fun, ensuring we all had a safe and memorable time. We've done multiple other trips with this company and they're always first class. Next trip with Red River to ski some pow in Japan!

First of all, with Covid concerns, Red River did a great job in helping us feel safe. There were 5 of us, ages 10-69. Eli was our guide and he totally made us feel safe. He was informative, but also entertaining. Because of our “older” ages, we were concerned whether we could do it. It was just the right amount of paddling and floating. Eli was a totally cool dude...loved him!It was the highlight of our trip to Utah!

Our guide, Cornelius, was spectacular and entertaining as hell. From the ways he explained how they class the various Rapids from 1 through 5 to explaining what other activities to do, Cornelius covered it all in a fun and awesome manner. 10/10 would recommend. Don't go to lame One Stop for Adventure. Have some real fun, and go to Red River Adventures!

Would highly highly recommend this trip. Our guide Brian was personable and knowledgeable and made the trip down the river memorable. We learned a lot about the history of the area and saw awe-inspiring mesas, towers, and buttes straight out of a western film set. Wildlife was plentiful and the rapids were challenging, but not too difficult to navigate.
We were nervous about the weather since we’d camped the night before in ~30 degree temps, but Red River Adventures gave us all a dry jacket and pants since it was a chilly morning, so it ended up being really comfortable.
I’d do another trip through this company again in a heartbeat, and am glad they helped make our experience in Moab so memorable!

I'm often asked, "what set you apart from the other rating companies"? and "don't you all run the same section of river"?
While it's true that we do, there are still huge differences.
The quality of our guides and the extra information they offer on our trips is a huge part of creating a great day! Loads of information on everything including history, geology, plants, animals, movies shot in the area, the river, rafting, water in the west all add to the experience and make your time with us so much more than a rafting, climbing, canyoneering, or skiing trip.
Glad you liked the splash gear! We want our guests to be comfortable on early season trips so that they are as enjoyable as possible!
Thanks for coming and the time it took to share your experience.
We really do appreciate it!
