Sylvie, my guide, was fabulous : she took the time to build a private tour based on my interests, what I had done or didn’t have time to do. I discovered the city in the eyes of a local person, it makes all the difference ! Thank you for sharing those wonderful places, I hope I will come back someday !

Sylvie made me and 12 other people discover Stanford. It was super interesting. She showed us some hidden places. Sylvie is passionate and know how to share her passion.

Sylvie took us on a 2,5 hour tour in Chinatown. Sylvie made us discover the charms of this district by taking us to the cult places (temple, church, places, pharmacie, murals, markets, restaurant...). She has an exceptional knowledge of the Chinese culture (she was a tour guide in china for 20 years) and speaks mandarin with locals. Local immersion for a visit made us discover and appreciate the mysteries of this culture. I strongly recommend Sylvie and l'Esprit San Francisco if you want to discover and appreciate Chinatown.

This was an exceptional visit! For all the kids from 4, 9 and 12y old! Sylvie knows so many stories about China town, the Gold rush etc! We all recommend this guided tour!!!

Sylvie took us on a three hour tour of Stanford campus, hitting all the highlights of the campus and sharing many stories. Sylvie is enthusiast and knows the area very well. It was a pleasure to discover new places from this beautiful campus.

When travelling and visiting a new city, you may just want to pick a tourists tour, and be happy with that. When travelling, I want the best option to uncover the city, and preferably in my language. This is the reason why I picked L’Esprit San Francisco. Sylvie was an awesome guide - I was lucky enough to have her for one day and an half, walking through the city, and uncovering places you would never find yourself otherwise. Sylvie was very adaptive - meaning that she gets to understand what I wanted, and arranged the walks accordingly. And Sylvie knows the city very well, believe me. So if you are looking for a private guided tour of San Francisco, go for Sylvie - you can only be happy afterwards.

Thanks Sylvie for this wonderful visit of Stanford University Campus. You know how to share your knowledge in a very interesting way, with lots of stories. I discovered new places in this campus, places I never went, yet very interesting to understand the story of Stanford.

Sylvie was great. Knows a lot about San Francisco and the whereabouts... We saved times by avoiding the long waiting lines especially with the Cable car. She understood the limits of visiting with young children and strollers and adapted our tour.
