Can’t wait to do it again!
My 2.5 year old and I had a fantastic time on the walking tour! Our guide Dany was so knowledgeable about the city and shared a ton of things I never knew about SF. He was welcoming, had great trivia and kept a very comfortable pace. It was easy to see that this is his passion. I highly reccomend this tour whether you’re a tourist visiting or a local that wants to know more about the history of San Francisco! The tour is free of charge so be sure to tip your guide. Thanks Dany!

Magical Whirlwind Tour of Downtown SF
I took the free tour with Vicky who was amazing! They were a guide down so she actually did the tour in English and then in Spanish. Super impressive! The route is also very good and you see basically all of downtown - Union Square, Chinatown, Financial District and the Ferry Building. Taking the rooftops of the Embarcadero was particularly beautiful.

    Great free walking tour
Our guide was Filip - excellent knowledge, lots of information, good sense of humour It's a long one - 2.5 hours, but lots to see and learn about Could have done with a shorter homelessness polemic at the end - important, but not 15 minutes important But also a very big thank you to Filip for booking a Weymo driverless taxi for us so that we got to experience that

    Passionate tour guide Filip!
Our tour guide Filip was beyond passionate about running the tour. He has loads of energy and came fully prepared with facts and stories about the city. His background is impressive with high level of education so he looks at the city with such deep knowledge and understanding about politics, social and history. If you like tonnes of details, this is the tour for you. However, I personally find this information overload and I would prefer more walks and more stops to cover more landmarks. I still recommend the tour to get to know the place a lot.

    AMAZING tour with Filip!
Today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Filip and spending a few hours exploring Chinatown and the financial district with him. To say that he is an incredible story teller with a passion for the city is an understatement. From the moment we met him, we knew that it was going to be an amazing morning. We loved hearing the history of San Fran told through his stories and the sights that he took us to. Thank you Filip for making this a tour we will not forget!

    Fantastic tour with Filip
Filip is a fantastic guide who clearly loves his city and loves sharing it with others. We learned so much about San Francisco- the history, the architecture, and the many personalities. The tour ran almost three hours. A good deal of walking but avoided a lot of the big hills and there were plenty of stops along the way to rest. Scheduling on line was very easy. We’ve done walking tours in Chicago, Boston, New York, and Philadelphia and this tour with Filip was among the best.

    Guide failed to turn up
Booked in advance but the tour guide was a no show. Didn’t bother to notify us of any issues. Fortunately we managed to link up with another guide with a different company.

The BEST way to start your visit to SF
GRACIAS! Our tour was excellent, Jose provided tons of information on the history of SF and how it evolved over the years. He also has lots of local tips that help you keep exploring the city. It's the best way to start your trip to SF. He is also super willing to answer all of your questions. I definitely recommend it. Thanks Jose!

    Really interesting walk
Fillip is very enthusiastic about SF and is quite knowledgeable and enjoys to share and answer questions. We turned towards different interesting topics from questions arisen from the participants. The tour was fun and interesting with a lot of stories and anecdotes. We covered all the main area's in this part of SF. Highly recommend.

What a tour! AMAAAZING!! I always love free walking tours, and over the years they have become my must-do on my first trip day. Most of the time, the guides are volunteers that are super passionate about the city and willing to share it with you. My guide was Filip, and the tour exceeded my (already high) expectations, THANK YOU FILIP! He shows us why he loves the city, its history, and many interesting facts. I don't want to spoil anything, but did you know what's underneath some San Francisco's buildings? You better take the tour to find out.

Wonderful tour, highly recommend. Filip's storytelling style made the information very engaging. I especially loved the visit to a fortune cookie shop! The historical section about infrastructure being built on top of ships in the early days of settlement was particularly fascinating to me.

The only thing I'd say is make sure to bring extra layers! It was quite chilly and would've made the latter half of the tour more comfortable for my friends and I. Nothing against the tour itself though.

Filip was a wealth of knowledge! We had 4 girls in our group plus about 10 others in the tour. Big enough to talk with others and be social and small enough to ask questions and have time to get personal recommendations. Filip was AMAZING!! So personable and seriously an assist to this company and San Francisco! Highly recommend- totally free, but we tipped $50 for the 4 of us it was THAT GOOD!

The free tour of the Mission and Castro neighborhoods in San Francisco is great! Victoria the guide explained everything great and is super nice. I loved the experience. It was my first free tour. I highly recommend it because, apart from meeting people, you learn a lot of things that if you just walk around you will never know. Thank you very much to Victoria!

I'm so glad I did this tour on Sat/23 April 2022. Entertaining, insightful, interesting route, and I learned about hidden gems. At the end of the tour Filip e-mailed participants his custom, superb "The Manual of San Francisco." Thank you so much and I hope you continue doing this tour as long as possible, Filip.

I took the free tour with civitatis (intermediary company with them). I'm not going to lie. In my opinion the tour was quite boring. When I go on a free tour I expect general information about the most important places. In my opinion Enzo went too deep into the story and irrelevant data for the tour. There were times when I felt like I wasn't taking a city tour but rather I was in a history class. I have done many free tours before and in my opinion this one is quite heavy. Possibly the tour would have been more enjoyable if it had been done in an hour and a half instead of two and a half hours. But as with everything, there are colors to suit tastes. I got the impression that the other people who were on the tour also found it annoying. But one thing does not eliminate the other. Enzo seemed very attentive, interested in the topic and tried to make sure we had the best time possible.

This was one of the best FreeTour walking tours i have done. Filip was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It starts at Union Sq goes through China town, Finance District and ends a Ferry Building. It was great to get the history of SF as well as fun little facts about buildings and parts of SF. Highly recommend!
