We hired Golden Horizons for 1-1/2 day SF tour, and 1 full day Muir Woods and Sonoma Historic Plaza. Also, for 4 days in Yosemite. I can’t speak highly enough about our tour guides!! Mary took us around for the first 2 days and she was amazing! So knowledgeable and super friendly! We learned so much about the different neighborhoods and history of SF . She recommended an Italian restaurant in Historic Sonoma and it was awesome!! Highly recommend!!! Thanks Mary! The four days, 3 nights with Adam were totally amazing as well! He made sure we had the best rooms on the Merced before we ever checked in. Also wonderful stops on the ride to the park! We learned a ton and also loved his sense of humor. He took us right in to the Ahwanee Hotel for lunch so we would know exactly where to go! So much attention to detail and even sent pictures once we were home. We traveled with Golden Horizon Travel, our first tour was of San Francisco and environs! Mary, our tour guide was terrific, she was born and raised in SF so her knowledge was vast. She also took us to Muir Woods and the Sonoma Plaza for a great lunch and shopping. We skipped a winery tour to stay longer in Sonoma, it was beautiful!!! Our guide into Yosemite was Adam, I don’t know his last name but he was one of the best guides I’ve ever had on any tour!!! Showed us everything, took us everywhere, fabulous knowledge of Yosemite history!!! I highly recommend Golden Horizons tours !!! Dorothy Blass The hotel we stayed at was 5 minutes from entrance to Yosemite, beautiful views of the Mercer River and canyon walls!! Very comfortable!

Malta is nice destination for brief period of vacation and at season when there is no rain. Because of this, my wife and I decided to spend a couple of days in Valletta at the end of April. The flight from Belgrade is not long and it was pleasant. We have chosen the five-star hotel Grand Excelsior, and let me say at the outset, the hotel was the right choice. At the front desk Mrs. Teodora and the staff welcomed us, very kindly and professionally. This first contact left a nice impression on us. Also, the same situation was at the check out. The hotel has a suitable location and amenities; indoor pool with warm water, nice outdoor pool (water was cold although was sunny weather), a small beach and hotel lobby with a view of the beach and the sea. A variety of delicious food was served in spacious restaurants and with professional and kind staff. The room was spacious with a beautiful view, but room service was pretty slowed down. Valletta is a city full of historical events, places, and fortifications. We had the opportunity to drive in a boat to the neighboring island. At Valletta, the traffic and taxis are arranged like in England - good. I am not sure it is Malta the best choice for a summer vacation because there is no beach, but for short break very this place is acceptable. We have good impressions from Malta, the Excelsior Hotel (Valletta), and the staff, with the desire to return in this one. But perhaps when it is a little warmer weather.

An amazing place, definitely worth seeing. Maybe tour a tad short for rhe money but do not regret at all, interesting history. Watch for zebras on shuttle to main house from entrance building.

We had a private tour (10 of us - my husband, our kids & spouses & 4 grandboys) with Adam. We spent a couple days in San Fran then were picked up at our hotel for the tour. 3 days in Yosemite, hitting the highlights although had to stay in the north end because of the fires in Mariposa Grove. Some beautiful hikes and amazing scenery. 1 day in Sequoia - again great hiking and a half day in Kings Canyon before heading to Fresno airport. Adam was super knowledgeable and tried to accommodate our particular needs/wishes as much as possible. Accommodations were nice - close to park entrance at Yosemite View Lodge and in Sequoia at Wuksachi Lodge. We had a great trip!

We were very pleased by our private tour with our guide Buddy. He permitted us to discover San Francisco with fluent french in a good mood ! We really enjoyed this experience so we give five stars.

We absolutely enjoyed Jon. He knows all things San Francisco and he's from New Zealand (our daughter currently lives there). He was very knowledgeable about whatever we asked. Jon made sure we got amazing photos and had great suggestions on where to eat. My husband and I are a private tour kinda couple and it was worth every dime!

This was a truly perfect day! From booking and working with their team to create a customized itinerary that was designed for our ideal day. Our driver, Adam, was amazing. He was friendly and outgoing and got to know us which helped him continue navigating our tour through Napa and Sonoma seamlessly. Adam was so knowledgeable about the area, the eateries and the hundreds of beautiful wineries it was impossible for the day to not be literally perfect. We have booked private tours similar to this in cities all over- this was by far our best experience from booking until drop off at the end of the evening! Thank you!

Wonderful trip with Jon who was extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. We felt like we had covered all aspects of Yosemite and a swim in Tenaya lake was just awesome. Highly recommended

Adam was right on time in picking us up. He asked us what we had already seen and what we were interested in, then he customized the route based on what we told him. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He really made the day fun. Aside from the tour guide stuff you’d expect, he also had a vast knowledge of restroom locations that served our large group of apparently heavy water consumers well. I can’t imagine how we could have had a better day.

LOOK NO FURTHER! THEY WILL EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS Our Napa, Alcatraz, Russian River Valley and Yosemite experience with Golden Horizon. Napa Valley has been on our bucket-list for a while, we finally made it to Napa, and we stayed at Solage resort located in northern Napa Valley. The hotel is very elegant and located in a peaceful location near Calistoga. As for sightseeing, we booked multiple private wine tours with Golden Horizon Travel. Our awesome tour guide, Adam, took us to new and exclusive wineries each day, in and around Napa Valley. We also had a wine and food pairing in Sonoma and Napa Valley. The wineries we visited and the wines we had exceeded our expectations. With Adam, we felt like travelling with a friend, he never finished the tour as scheduled, he always added more time to our daily trips and made us feel like a family. We were really glad to book multiple private tours with this company, we had a hot air balloon ride scheduled during the weekend, but we could not fly due to wind and weather conditions. However, the next day, we took off from Yountville, and had one of the best sunrises ever. It’s an exciting and fun experience. Adam is an expert photographer and took a lot of beautiful photos of us, he later shared them with us. This was an amazing experience we will never forget. We wanted to see the big redwood trees and decided to skip Muir Woods and visit the Russian River Valley wineries and Redwoods. The choice of wineries there was a great fit for our taste, we visited DeLoach, Gary Farrell and Merry Edwards Winery. We love pinots and enjoyed awesome wines there. Last, we spared one more day to visit Yosemite national park during our stay in the Bay Area. We had a long day private trip with a nice tour guide, his name is Gerard. He was kind enough to take us on a hike to see the big sequoias after visiting the Yosemite Valley. We are surprised by the beauty and majesty of Yosemite, but a one-day trip doesn’t do justice to Yosemite - I recommend at least 2 or 3 day. Our last day took us from Napa to Alcatraz, and then, we got dropped off at SFO and then flew back home to Guatemala City. Thank you for the memories!
