We will walk toward the Railroad and Ferry Depot Museum along the San Francisco Bay waterfront in Tiburon as I discuss Tiburon's history as a railroad town and its evolution into the community it is today. We will also walk along Tiburon's Main Street and Ark row, where you will learn about how downtown fared and evolved from 1884 until today.

View the extraordinary model of the Tiburon rail yards in 1909, and the exquisitely restored stationmaster's quarters from the 1930s.

Tiburon has a very interesting history, and Elliott Brown understands it and teaches it wonderfully. He has a myriad of photos from the era and knows stories about all the major players. My only criticism is that it lasted a bit too long. So wear...More

Tiburon Walking Tour was terrific — I’ve lived in the Bay Area my entire life and never knew Tiburon’s colorful history. Elliott’s narrative is engaging and fun, and you’ll learn a lot. I highly recommend this tour for locals and tourists alike.
