        Comprehensive, comfy and interesting
Totally worthy, especially if you have not much time. Michael took us to see main attractions and most significant places in a friendly and knowledgeable tour. He didn’t have us just sitting in the van but offered us many opportunities to walk around and have a touch of the city while taking us to see both most iconic places and less known ones. Very interesting! I liked learning about the history of the city. Highly recommended!

        SF 12/31 afternoon tour
Great driver and tour guide. Did not feel hurried at all. Showed us the sites and gave great commentary on the different spots. Had time to get out of van for pics.

        Dissatisfied and disappointed
I came from out of state to visit my 84 year old mother. Kirill is the manager of “A Taste of San Francisco.” I did not appreciate how Kirill hung up the phone on my 84 year old mother today on 12/27/24 at 9:04 am. My mother called Kirill to say that the pick up van to the Caza Hotel was late on 12/27/24. Kirill said, that the driver sent a text that he would be late, when in fact a text was never sent to us this morning on 12/27/24. The reservation was changed from 8:30 am to 9 am, after it was reconfirmed for 12/27/24 for 8:30 am several times. Kirill was annoyed when my mother and I called to reconfirm our reservations several times. I called to reconfirm the reservation on 12/23/24 and my mother called before that. On 12/26/24 at 8:25 am, Kirill called my 84 year old mother asking where she was. Apparently, Kirill made a mistake and thought our tour was for 12/26/24 instead of 12/27/24. My mother explained that our tour was for 12/27/24 at 8:30 am. Kirill never apologized for his aggressive and rude behavior. Kirill has poor customer service. He was impatient, aggressive and blatantly rude towards my 84 year old mother, who just wanted to reconfirm our reservations. For the record, it was Kirill himself who made a mistake and thought our reservations was for 12/26/24, when it was supposed to be for 12/27/24. Kirill never apologized for his rude behavior and indifference. Kirill made it sound like it was my mother’s fault, when in fact it was Kirill who got confused with the dates. We have followed the instructions carefully and have waited for the pick up van in the front lobby of Caza Hotel on 12/27/24. Kirill’s disgraceful attitude was in excusable and distasteful! Kirill is not the right person doing customer service work. Kirill does not have the right personality for this job and is not qualified. I hope the phone calls are recorded so that it can be reviewed. To the Owner, Please do not text or call my 84 year old mother anymore, you are only upsetting her. Our experience from this tour is already stated on this review for 12/27/24.

        Could be great!
Could be a great tour but felt much of content is left to driver’s discretion. We had to ask to see places we thought were don’t miss San Francisco spots- Chinatown,Chase Center & others. We had our older grandson & there were other student age passengers . The tour was good but not comprehensive. Seemed to cater to the older passengers & too much !Never saw Lombardy St up close or pier areas.

Don't miss a chance to see Muir Woods!
This is one attraction that you should not pass up! Although the closer we got to Muir Woods, the scarier the road became (I'm not used to curvy roads) I would not have missed my visit to Muir Woods for anything. It was amazing and I was in awe of the beauty that I saw that day. Included in the trip was a visit with time for shopping or lunch in Salsilito. We opted to take the ferry back to the city instead of the tour van so we could explore more of Salsilito.

        Amazing experience
The trip was amazing. Vlad gave more information than I’d had on 2 previous tours. He played photographer for me since I traveled solo. The Muir Woods and Sausalito are a must see. The stop at Golden Gate Bridge had gorgeous views. The private pickups and drop off at hotel made trip even better. I highly recommend.

        Enlightening and fun tour
We were hoping to find a tour of the city to learn a little about San Francisco. The tour was just the perfect amount of time. We began at 2pm and ended about 6. The city emits kindness. Our tour guide was Ulrich originally from Germany. He spoke clearly and loud enough for everyone to hear. Our group was a nice size of 11. Ulrich shared so many interesting tidbits about the city and its rich history. We got out several times to take pictures and walk about for a short time. He gave us picture tips and pointed out landmarks as w e drove all over the city. We got to see all the different cultural villages in San Francisco. He even gave us recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to go to that served specialty dishes we were interested in. We are so glad we went on the tour. It was well worth the money and our limited amount of time we had available.

        Highly recommended!
Randy picked us up at our hotel. He took us to all the best sites and provided interesting history and trivia. We stopped at two locations for photo opps. It was a small group in a minivan, so we were able to go in more places than the larger buses could go. Randy was friendly and professional. I highly recommend the trip!

Great trip to the Muir woods and Sausalito
This excursion was wonderful, amazing and very inspiring. Mike, our guide was handing out lots of information throughout our trip to the Muir woods and Sausalito. The organization was perfect, the bus clean and comfortable & the group of 8 very sympatric. I chose this offer as there is a times lot of 1 hour self-touring in Sausalito before heading back. I really recommend this offer!

Worth the ride to the woods.
A breath-taking park, with beautiful trees and paths to hike. We spent an hour and a half there and it was great. The weather was beautiful and the gorgeous old trees captivating. Our guide was nice enough, giving you a talk along on the ride.

Don’t sign up for Taste of San Francisco tours!
        (1) Michael tried his best to be informative, but some of the information he gave, although accurate, was only half the story. Sticking to facts and less opinions, especially political ones, would be best. (2) The van’s brakes made a lot of noise…there was no waste receptacle to throw trash in on the van (Michael sent me to trash receptacle 1/4 block away). (3) one hour in Sausalito for shopping and a bite to eat was not enough. Most tours have 1.5 to 2 hours. Michael said he had an afternoon tour to do so there wasn’t enough time for us. We felt rushed and it was hectic…. This was not a premier tour. (4). Paid $400 for my friend and I, both seniors, which was far too expensive, especially when we found out we would have to find our own way back to the hotel after Alcatraz, because of Michael’s schedule. Unbelievable! He dropped us off at Alcatraz too late to catch our ferry so we had to wait an hour+. This 1/2 day tour was very pricy ($400) for what we got. I still think we need a refund of $100 because the cost of getting into Alcatraz and Muir Woods is $130 for 2 seniors. Other tours offer more for less.

        Excellent tour
Michael was out tour guide from our hotel to Muir Woods and Sausalito. He was excellent. He gave us as much information as possible throughout our trip. The ride was smooth and picturesque. We opted to stay in Sausalito for the day and rode the ferry back. I highly recommend doing that to gain another view of the bridge. We were suprised to learn that the air show was going on as well, so we were treated with extra thrills on the way back. We chose to stay at Hotel Zeppelin and we were picked up from there at 8 am. Excellent day!!! Muir Woods was a perfect way to spend the morning.
