- chapu500DON’T BE FOOLED LIKE MEI was really excited to go to Yosemite park as this national park has the famous sequoias trees. I didn’t know much else about the park except for the sequoias. So let me tell you the reality. First, I was thinking as soon as we arrive we’ll see sequoias everywhere to my surprise and lots of my group WE SAW NONE! I was so frustrated the loooong hours on the bus, at the end of the trip, your back is hurting, all the time wasted (I could’ve enjoy the whole day in San Francisco) as well as the money. I didn’t realize this tour doesn’t include seeing the sequoias… everyone wants to see them, so it’s beyond me why would anyone pay a good amount of money, spend from 6am till 11 pm that I arrived to my hotel to not see a single one. This tour takes you to the village and tells you you have 3.5 hours enjoy… on a loop/hike that you can easily do in half an hour… so we could’ve easily do both the village and visit the sequoias or simply see the cascade in the panoramic stop as it is nice but not the main reason why everyone wants to go to that park. Anyway, so they drop you at the campground where there is a foodcourt, lots of people and not much to do as I said before the loop is super short to see so I wasted my time don’t waste yours. If by writing this review I can safe people from feeling frustrated and scamed I will be more than happy I wish I had read a review warning me. Also, the bus moves so much it’s hard to have a nap, if you get dizzy easy bring your pill as you might feel sick.
- richardsonm32600Incredible views, tour & guide! We had an amazing tour round Yosemite. It was our first time and we would definitely go back. A lot of this was thanks to our tour guide Brendan. He was brilliant at taking us to the best views, walks and was able to answer any questions we had! He was also a great photographer when required! Thank you Brendan for an unforgettable experience!
- JohnP32700Bad experienceVery disappointing!!!! The day before our tour we get a call saying the tour guide is sick???? And the tour is cancelled. They offered to book us on a different tour with one of their partners but on a huge bus with a bunch of people. Makes me wonder was the tour guide really sick??? Don’t they have backups in case someone is sick or did they just not have enough people signed up and conveniently cancelled??? Makes you wonder. They did give a full refund, which was good, but then we needed to find a last minute tour on a weekend. Not easy.
- oskar98m00Great Trip To YosemiteEven though you spend most of the time in the bus, I didn't mind it at all. Was able to sleep a while as well so didn't feel that long. It can get really warm in the bus whenever we had to turn the AC off in some hot areas on our way there. Yosemite was amazing, we stopped at a few great locations that had incredible views and about 3h in the park itself to walk around and explore. I was aware I wouldn't have time to do any big hikes but still felt like I could see a lot of things with the time we got. We had 2 extra unplanned stops along the way that was a bit annoying cause some people had to go to the restroom or didn't buy enough water on our planned stops. When we came back to San Francisco it took about one hour to drop everyone off. Some people went off at different drop off spots without letting anyone know so we went to the next place when there was no one to drop off which was a waste of time. Not to blame Incredible Adventures for this though. Just annoying when you wanna get home. Overall it was a great trip, great guide, great views. Totally worth the money.
- Bob R00Quick visit to a wonderful placeIt would take several days to fully experience Yosemite, but we had just one day, and this may be our only opportunity to see one of the most spectacular places on earth. If that is your situation, this tour will be worthwhile for you.
- Preston W00Best Tour EverFor anyone hesitating to visit Yosemite National Park, I can assure you that you will never regret taking the trip at least once in your life. Personally, I would recommend joining a guided tour instead of driving on your own. There are simply too many details to know if you're driving, which can take up a lot of time trying to look them all up. Regarding the trip, I want to express my sincere appreciation for our tour guide, Kate. She was highly responsible and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the journey. From the start of the drive, Kate provided us with a detailed plan for the tour, making sure we were familiar with all the destinations and always ensuring that everyone was accounted for. Thanks to her efforts, I had no worries and could fully immerse myself in the experience. Kate's knowledge about the places we passed by, the park's history, the wildlife, and the surrounding woods was astonishing. She answered all our questions, leaving us impressed with her expertise. The tour was well-planned, allowing us to spend enough time at each spot to truly savor the stunning views and embrace the natural beauty of Yosemite. Kate made sure we avoided rush hours and long queues, giving us the opportunity to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed. Additionally, she provided multiple options for experiencing Yosemite, catering to various preferences. Whether you wanted an easy or challenging trip, Kate had something suitable for everyone. Furthermore, Kate was open to accommodating individual preferences, and she tailored the trip accordingly. As a thoughtful gesture, she sent us a PDF with detailed information about the routes, where to stop, and how to get to each destination before we left. This thoughtful touch relieved any concerns about getting lost. Visiting Yosemite National Park with Kate as our tour guide was an unforgettable experience. Her professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to make the trip enjoyable for each participant made a significant difference. You won't be disappointed and I hope you enjoy it!
- Diana Z00Terrific trip to Muir Woods / Wine CountryThis was a wonderful small group tour. Kate was an excellent guide and provided a lot of information. She kept the tour on time and took photos for us, even going out of her way to be sure we got the iconic Golden Gate Bridge from the best vantage point on return from wine country. ( It was fogged in on way out of city ) The Muir Woods are absolutely beautiful and should not be missed on a trip to the bay area. My husband and I enjoyed the wine tasting experience very much as well.
- DAM1965201500Such a fabulous day!!Tom our guide was excellent! The small group of 13 was so much fun!! Highly recommend!! Took my family of 6 and everyone had a wonderful time.
- Michael M00Incredibly horrible AdventureThis was an Incredibly horrible tour. We booked a small group tour to Yosemite and were met by a bus for 32 people (not a small group tour). We had a stop 45 minutes outside of San Francisco where we picked up an additional 6 passengers and switched drivers. The original driver took the keys to the bus with her to the train. We had to wait for her to return with the keys to continue. It took us 7 1/2 hours to get to Yosemite (usually a 31/2 to 4 hour trip). It allowed us 3 hours at Yosemite. Total time for the trip was 16 hours with 13 hours on an incredibly uncomfortable bus. I will ask for my money back from Incredible Adventures. It was a horrific day!!!
- jessica-sharabi1900My first experience to Yosemitethe entire trip was good, had a small issue in the morning for pick up but after that it was a smooth trip.
- kmcf8900A great day trip out of the cityOur guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the tour was well-organised. We had a good amount of time to explore Muir Woods which were absolutely beautiful. We then had lunch in Sonoma which is a lovely town before visiting 2 wineries, where staff were welcoming and the wine was delicious!
- U1257KFjeanr00Love the tripIt was good we had a good time and enjoyed the tour. Randall been a good tour guide .. learned a lot about the trees in California and different wines and grapes
- Shyamala_rk00Highly recommendHad a great time on the tour. Sarah was a professional and cheerful guide. She gave us good recommendations at the stops and we enjoyed the facts she shared throughout the journey.
- 0prateek00Awesome experience. Highly recommended.I'm writing this review a month after my trip, and I can't believe how much I miss it. This is a great trip and I would highly recommend over any single day trip. There's just so much to see in Yosemite! Great job by the organizers in packaging the tour, although I'd suggest they inform future travellers of the DIY aspect of camping and maybe place an upper age limit. I had the misfortune of having a few aged travellers in my group who seemed to confuse 'guide' with 'servant'. I'd also recommend avoiding long weekend travel due to the single lane traffic going into the park. Huge shout out to our guide, Ollie who aside from being knowledgeable and patient, is also a great musician!
- Richard12279000Stunning views await at YosemiteLoved the trip, Parker was a great guide, thank you for the climbing stories and Yosemite history. The hard trail to Yosemite falls was beautiful and well worth the effort to climb. Such stunning views everywhere and a truly memorable day. It was around 6 hours total by minibus (with regular stops) and 3 hours of exploring the hiking trails at Yosemite.

This was a great half day tour to Muir Woods & Sausalito. Our tour guide (Parker) was really friendly and gave us lots of interesting info about San Francisco, Muir Woods and the surrounding areas, plus tips on different places to visit in the city.
Muir Woods was spectacular, definitely worth a visit if you're in San Francisco. Even the drive to the woods was breathtaking.
(The only criticism is the pick up location was changed numerous times, and although we waited at the confirmed point, it had actually been changed again since we last checked our emails so we didn't know to meet elsewhere! Luckily our guide thought to check the other pick up locations and found us approx 10 mins late)

We're so glad that we had a chance to experience Muir Woods, especially great choosing the early morning tour before the crowds came. Although there was only us + one other couple in the van, our driver/guide Brittany gave us an excellently narrated tour, filled with so many interesting facts about the places she showed us, and thanks to her, we learned that Otis Redding did indeed have a houseboat there in Sausalito which inspired his famous song ("Sitting on the Dock of the Bay). She is so enthusiastic and informative that made us appreciate all the more the unique beauty of the area!

We had a great tour with Lana in a comfortable large van. We got lots of fun information about the areas, a great hiking tip for Muir Woods and the best views in Sausalito. It was so nice to let someone else do the driving and worry about parking.

I was really looking forward to this excursion but it definitely did not live up to the ad and I would not use this tour company again.
1) Listing says 13 guests max but they overbooked us so instead of a van, we were in an old 32-passenger bus (think 80s school bus style design) that sounded and felt like it was on its last legs. This vehicle had serious suspension problems. The ride was so bad that no one could ignore it. Everyone was exclaiming the whole time how uncomfortable it was. If you have any back or neck problems at all, you'll want to avoid riding in a vehicle from this company. If you don't have any joint or spine problems, you'll likely still leave with a headache from the jarring.
2) Tour guide said only 30 minutes in Sausalito -- after recommending where to go to eat although we would have no time to eat there. With the location of the parking lot, you don't have time to see the town and marina, and we saw none of the famous houseboats. That was really a wasted stop. You could use the restroom or grab ice cream perhaps, but that's all.
3) Tour guide was nice but knew little about the area. He gave some memorized information but made little effort to tell more. I noticed this because we were behind two other tour companies throughout the day on their identical tour. I was behind the other tour company's guide at the entrance to Muir Woods (I think it was Taste of SF) and he gave their group information and recommendations of which trail to take. Our guide did not. I really wished I had spent the few extra $ to go with either of those other two companies (and their nicer newer vans!)
4) I wrote a polite message to the company that night to tell them my concerns. I don't like leaving a bad review without telling someone my issues first privately. I received no reply to my message, but I did receive a generic ad for their other excursions. It has been several days and I still never received a reply. The lack of customer service was icing on the cake for a disappointing experience.
We spent $400 for 5 people for this tour, after discounts. It was not money well spent, and I would definitely recommend taking a different tour company.

James was a great tour guide. The Muir woods are gorgeous, a must-see! The timing was great, we arrived around 8:20 before the woods got busy with tourists. Sausalito was fun, my partner and I decided to take the ferry back to San Fran. Highly recommend

This was a great way to get from the Union Square hotels to Muir Woods without renting a car. We had sufficient time to explore (about an hour and 20 minutes). Our guide provided interesting and useful information. And she took our picture by the front entrance sign. The woods are gorgeous. We opted to take the ferry back from Sausalito because we wanted to try an all-gluten-free restaurant in Sausalito. Our guide, Annie, kindly walked us over to the ferry dock and explained our options. This was a very good experience!

Riding a large air conditioned bus was so enjoyable. I am a tree lover and completely loved seeing the Redwoods in Muir woods. They are beyond belief that anything can grow so large. It was enjoyable seeing Sausalito. The views across the bay are spectacular. I would highly recommend this trip for others who enjoy this type of activity.

Fun 1/2 day trip. Quick stop for bay bridge pics was nice. We had enough time to walk all of the main Muir woods trail, visit gift shop, and bathrooms. The Sausalito visit was a nice short 1 hour visit (shopping and ice cream basically for us with some pics near the water). We opted for ride back to hotel instead of paying for ferry. Driver was excellent (even when 3 people 15 min late to van!). So very relaxing, easy way to visit these places

Made a booking for a half day trip to Miur woods with this company. They accepted the booking and took the money from my account.
The day before the trip we were told that they could not go ahead because not enough people had booked for the tour. It was too late to rebook with another company and we ended up leaving SF and being unable to see the woods.

The tour was expensive and probably not great value for money. We went with  Incredible Adventures. The tour was just okay, I am not sure if I would really recommend it. The trees at Muir Woods are beautiful but nothing I wouldn't have seen before. Sausalito was a quaint little town but again nothing wow about it. The Golden Gate Bridge was completely covered in fog- the worst the guide has ever seen. It's just okay.

Hi!
If we wanted to take the ferry back to San Fran, do we purchase the tickets in Sausalito or can we get them in advance?
Thanks!
