      Great views, bumpy ride
First the positives, Our guide Annie was great and offered many options for free exploration of the park. The views were spectacular! The only negative was the bus ride which takes about half of the trip. The F550 bus has no suspension in the back and felt like we were getting hit with a sledge hammer at times. If they are going to continue to use this bus they might want to add some air ride to the rear. Especially for over 6 hours of road time back and forth from the park. In summary, Park awesome, van terrible.

In the van for 9 hours before stepping foot in the park!!!
Unfortunately our guide decided to make a last minute change to the itinerary which resulted in a longer drive and a 3 hour queue in an overheating van. This was followed by a lot of moaning from the guide about how long and hard they worked, at one point snapping that they did not get paid by the hour, which we found unprofessional. As other reviews have highlighted, the heavy angling for tips throughout felt uncomfortable, including directing us to the ATMs at the final stop on the way home! Yosemite is breathtaking and we got to see a good amount in 2 days. Would recommend going for an overnight trip but with a different company.

The drive was very easy, and Sam was an excellent guide. Very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a little bit of history and fun facts, and the heads up for the views. Yosemite was beautiful, and we stopped at in-n-out on our way back! 10/10 experience.

      Fun family adventure
Muir Woods was stunning. Wish we had more time to explore. The two wineries we went to were small but perfect. Loved the smaller group setting. Noah, our guide for the day, was extremely knowledgeable and amazing!

      First trip to Yosemite
We visited Yosemite with Kate for a day trip. It was our first time to Yosemite and we will definitely be back. Kate did a great job telling us about the park and the area around the park on our ride to and from San Francisco. The day we went it was VERY hot. Kate did a great job recommending hikes we could do that were not too strenuous but we could still enjoy the park despite the heat. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Don’t get stuck in the back seat.
Firstly I have to say Yosemite National Park is breathtakingly beautiful and well worth the trip. Our guide Kate was fabulous, very knowledgeable and obliging and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Disappointingly the tour van was incredibly uncomfortable and oddly configured in a 3, 3, 3, 4 configuration. The back 4 seats would struggle to fit children comfortably and was made worse by the presence of a protruding wheel arch into the seating area meaning even less room and a sore back after only 2 hours of driving. We had a heat wave in Yosemite and the vans air conditioning couldn’t keep the temperature comfortable inside despite being on maximum settings. Not the guides fault so we still tipped her well, but this would stop me booking another trip with the company. Eight hours in a hot uncomfortable vehicle over 2 days was too much.

      Simply The Best!
We took this trip 29th June 2024. We were picked up in Union Square on time and introduced to Noah our tour guide for the day. The journey to Yosemite took approx 4hrs, but please do not let the travel time dissuade you!! Noah was so informative and accommodating. Along the way Noah shared with us all so much information, history of the different areas we were passing through. It was very interesting and we learnt so much about California. At Yosemite Noah highlighted the best, impressive areas to see. Yosemite was awesome. Noah made this incredible tour the best. Thank you

Jordan was amazing. Best tour guide ever. The music was so lulling. Fellow passengers were so fun! We appreciate the ride and the company! Do the tour but spring for the reserve wines, they are great!

A great way to see this amazing place
This tour was a very enjoyable experience. We were very lucky to have Mike as our very knowledgeable and engaging guide. I highly recommend at least 2 days for first visit to this amazing place (definitely coming back). I also enjoyed the company of our small and diverse group.

Relaxed way to see and understand the history behind Yosemite
A big thank you to Aiden for making us feel so welcome and always taking care of us during the 3 day camping tour 🫶 Moreover, Aiden is a considerate guide who checks in on our energy levels before suggesting changes to itinerary so that we can maximize our time at Yosemite. Additionally, Aiden’s knowledge on the history and geography of yosemite made the trip even more meaningful.

SO VERY GLAD I VISITED YOSEMITE
The several hours travelling from San Fransisco was well worth what we saw! Everywhere you looked the views were amazing. We were also fortunate to have fantastic weather and to be there when there was still snow melting making sure the waterfalls were also all full! I was travelling on my own and enjoyed the small group tour and getting to know others too.

      Incredible Adventures = Incredible Experiences
We have recently returned from a seventeen day holiday in California, working our way up the coast using Amtrak trains and buses. As we had no car we needed a tour to visit Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. We couldn't have chosen a better tour and it was certainly the icing on the cake for our holiday. Our guide Phil was a very personable guy who made every effort to make the tour interesting and enjoyable. Phil was very knowledgeable about the history, the geology, the environment and the people of the places we visited. He was always flexible and catered for everyone's interests and physical ability. My husband and I are in our seventies and whilst we are quite fit for our age we found this tour relaxed and manageable. The rest of the people on our tour were a great bunch and easy to get along with. I would certainly recommend this tour, our experiences were unforgettable and definitely enriched by our guides knowledge. Thanks Phil.

Stunning scenery on a 2 day Yosemite tour
A good friend said don’t miss Yosemite if you’re in San Francisco. So we took this tour. It’s long days but if you can only spare one night, you do get to see a lot. A warning if you get car sick and don’t like hairpin bends it may not be the tour for you. The views are stunning. Our guide Coleen was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, especially regarding rock climbing, clearly a passion!

      Wonderful Adventure
My husband and I took this tour with Lisa as a guide. We had such a great time. Lisa was very knowledgeable and cared about all the participants. We were a group of 7 and enjoyed getting to know the others from different states and countries. Muir woods was spectacular. The beauty and peacefulness of these giant trees was amazing. The walking was the perfect amount for someone in their 60s. From there we went to Sonoma for a wonderful lunch and shopping. We especially enjoyed the little boutique stores. Our adventure continued to both wineries in Sonoma and Napa where we were able to sample wines and learn how the grapes are grown and the wine was made. After a brief stop to view the Golden Gate Bridge with the fog coming in we were returned to our hotel. Don’t miss this trip it is a great way to spend a day in San Francisco.

I was really looking forward to this excursion but it definitely did not live up to the ad and I would not use this tour company again.
    1) Listing says 13 guests max but they overbooked us so instead of a van, we were in an old 32-passenger bus (think 80s school bus style design) that sounded and felt like it was on its last legs. This vehicle had serious suspension problems. The ride was so bad that no one could ignore it. Everyone was exclaiming the whole time how uncomfortable it was. If you have any back or neck problems at all, you'll want to avoid riding in a vehicle from this company. If you don't have any joint or spine problems, you'll likely still leave with a headache from the jarring.
    2) Tour guide said only 30 minutes in Sausalito -- after recommending where to go to eat although we would have no time to eat there. With the location of the parking lot, you don't have time to see the town and marina, and we saw none of the famous houseboats. That was really a wasted stop. You could use the restroom or grab ice cream perhaps, but that's all.
    3) Tour guide was nice but knew little about the area. He gave some memorized information but made little effort to tell more. I noticed this because we were behind two other tour companies throughout the day on their identical tour. I was behind the other tour company's guide at the entrance to Muir Woods (I think it was Taste of SF) and he gave their group information and recommendations of which trail to take. Our guide did not. I really wished I had spent the few extra $ to go with either of those other two companies (and their nicer newer vans!)
    4) I wrote a polite message to the company that night to tell them my concerns. I don't like leaving a bad review without telling someone my issues first privately. I received no reply to my message, but I did receive a generic ad for their other excursions. It has been several days and I still never received a reply. The lack of customer service was icing on the cake for a disappointing experience.
We spent $400 for 5 people for this tour, after discounts. It was not money well spent, and I would definitely recommend taking a different tour company.

Muir Woods is just amazing! The highlight of our trip to San Francisco. Our tour guide and driver (John, I think?) was excellent. He gave a great commentary to go along our journey. After a quick stop at the Golden Gate Bridge, he navigated along the very twisty road to the Muir Woods. The Muir Woods main trail is easy walk and our guide also gave details on the various pathways found there. Bring a jacket and wear layers as it is quite shaded and chilly! Then we drove to Sausalito. Again our driver gave info on the town and how to return to San Francisco either on the tour bus or the ferry. We opted to walk about, have lunch then take the (blue and gold) ferry back. (Note: If you are going to Fishermans Wharf area -Pier 41, make sure to buy your tickets on the ferry or at the round kiosk nearby - NOT the ticket machine in front of the ferry pier. Those machine are for the other ferry to Ferry Building and they are not interchangeable or refundable.) Great tour and would totally do it again!

We had a great tour with Lana in a comfortable large van. We got lots of fun information about the areas, a great hiking tip for Muir Woods and the best views in Sausalito. It was so nice to let someone else do the driving and worry about parking.

The 4 stars is for the experience itself. For my tour guide, Aiden, I give 5 stars. My goal was to get to Muir Woods. I found that the most efficient way was to book a tour and that all tours have at least 2 stops. The Muir Woods part was amazing. I did not love Sausalito. If the tour has JUST been to Muir Woods (with more time there.) I would have given the experience 5 stars.

Aiden was very energetic and informative about the locations and history of the San Francisco (Tenderloin, Mission, Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods & Sausalito.) I didn’t even realize that I wanted to know all of this history, but Aiden exceeded my expectations by giving historical context to the Native Americans, Spanish colonization, Mexican-American War, Prohibition Era, the Fire, the Depression/New Deal, and the “counterculture” of the 1960’s.

Aiden also gave detailed info about the natural history & biology of the redwood trees, the banana slugs, and answered my specific questions about fire suppression, biodiversity and water use.

I liked that the informative part of the tour was limited to the time in the van and that we had time to explore on our own at each destination.

James was a great tour guide. The Muir woods are gorgeous, a must-see! The timing was great, we arrived around 8:20 before the woods got busy with tourists. Sausalito was fun, my partner and I decided to take the ferry back to San Fran. Highly recommend

This was a great way to get from the Union Square hotels to Muir Woods without renting a car. We had sufficient time to explore (about an hour and 20 minutes). Our guide provided interesting and useful information. And she took our picture by the front entrance sign. The woods are gorgeous. We opted to take the ferry back from Sausalito because we wanted to try an all-gluten-free restaurant in Sausalito. Our guide, Annie, kindly walked us over to the ferry dock and explained our options. This was a very good experience!

Riding a large air conditioned bus was so enjoyable. I am a tree lover and completely loved seeing the Redwoods in Muir woods. They are beyond belief that anything can grow so large. It was enjoyable seeing Sausalito. The views across the bay are spectacular. I would highly recommend this trip for others who enjoy this type of activity.

Very recommendable tour!!! Judd took us to take a view of the Golden Gate bridge that was stunning, before going to Muir Woods!!! He gave us many insights into the places we visited. Muir Woods is such a peaceful place where time stops admist redwoods and lush greens. I was not particularly impressed by Sausalito but it was nice to get to see the Bay from the other side! I recommend this tour. You also get to experience of crossing onto the Golden Gate on a drive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito with the stop by the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a very positive experience, especially seeing the redwoods. Photos do not do them justice! Our driver/ guide, Brendan, made the experience even better. He made us feel very safe driving on the winding hilly roads.

The tour began at 7.15 am which was too early and did not give us enough time to have the hotel breakfast.

The moment we boarded the van, we first saw a board with bold lettering informing us that a tip of 15-20% was “appreciated”, as is the norm in the US. This fact was also highlighted by the guide in his introductory welcome speech. We have been places and are aware of the tipping culture in different countries. While it was probably ok to mention it toward the end of the tour, did we want to have that thrown in our faces the minute we boarded our vehicle, maybe not. It seemed crude and unprofessional.

The first photo stop was the Golden Gate Bridge viewpoint and as is the case during summers, the bridge was covered with fog. We were barely given 5 mins and the guide/driver was rushing to get us back onto the bus.

We were given just over an hour and a half at Muir Woods, which was nearly not enough time. One needs 2 hours minimum to explore just the basic trail.

Just one hour at Sausalito isn’t adequate either. We decided to take the ferry back to San Francisco and the ticket price is steep. Cost us $14 per person. That’s an add-on to the tour price. Although the ferry route does provide exceptional views.
