Small-Group, Mission District Food Tour - San Francisco
From $71.05
Overview
With its buoyant swagger and Latino roots, The Mission is one of San Francisco’s most characteristic neighborhoods. Save time by seeing much of the neighborhood while taking part in at least six food tastings, from Mission burritos to local ice cream and clam chowder. Learn about the neighborhood’s eclectic cultural legacy from your guide while you travel with a small group of 12 or fewer people.
What to Expect
Make your way to the Mission Cultural Center where you meet your guide and group of 12 people or fewer. Quickly hit the pavement for your walking Mission District Food Tour.

The Mission is a lively neighborhood—one of San Francisco’s oldest—with Latino roots, and a great place to sample food in San Francisco. Start with a San Francisco classic: the crammed and masterfully rolled Mission burrito.

Make at least five other stops on this tour, including one of San Francisco’s most famous bakery, an Italian deli, a traditional clam chowder shop, and one of the few local ice cream shops in the city. The last destination is a “mystery” spot chosen by your guide.

Skip the lines wherever you stop for food and listen to your guide tell stories about the neighborhood’s cultural and architectural heritage.

Your tour finishes in the early afternoon.

Great Tour!

David was an amazing guide. He brought us to some great restaurants which we would not have otherwise tried and gave us some history of the Mission District on our walk.

Don’t eat before the tour

We made the mistake of having breakfast before we met David for our tour. We started the tour with a very generous burrito & glass of wine & then proceeded to eat our way through the Mission District. We sampled many cuisines and David was...More
