We had such a great first day in the USA with Dylans tours today. Our tour guide Sully was fantastic, so friendly & informative. He had some great knowledge of the city and was happy to answer all our questions to.
Plus he offered to take photos at every stop which was fab as all our photos are usually on our own!

The tour bus was comfy & we had free granola bars and water included.

We stopped at lots of great landmarks & visited the amazing muir woods. We went to Alcatraz and a highlight of my trip was seeing Mrs Doubtfires house!

Things to note... The muir woods you pay separately for so it was $15 per person to enter the woods.
There is a fair bit of walking yo wear comfy shoes.

Thanks for a great day!

We are only in San Francisco for a couple of days so want to see everything. We'd read the reviews and noted some of the larger bus tours struggle to park near to some attractions so opted for Dylan's smaller bus tour. We were not disappointed.
Our guide Jake had a lovely and relaxed manner and was really informative throughout the day.
The trip through the districts was really interesting hearing about how the neighborhoods had developed. We saw the Golden gate bridge up close and following a lovely lunch stop in Sausalito a real highlight for us was visiting the Giant Redwood trees in Muir Woods. It's such a relaxing place with different walking trails to try out,
Dropped off at the ferry terminal the final visit was to Alcatraz. Amazing to see this famous place. We were given tour ferry vouchers as we got off the bus and skipped a long queue. After the visit the ferry lands you back near Fishermans wharf.
Nine hours is a long day but you see loads and it didn't feel rushed at all.
I think the only other bit i want to see is Lombard St and the famous hill turns, but I don't think buses can get down it and it's not great for people on foot and hard to park near for photo's. We are going to take a cab down tomorrow.
We thought Dylan's tours was a great way to see this wonderful city and thoroughly recommend the One day with Alcatraz exoerience.

Roger from Dylan's Tours was great! He is a native that knows all the best places to go and has an incredible working knowledge of the history of San Francisco. He played music that was spot on for the areas we drove through and he gave us ample time to see and do everything; nothing seemed rushed. What a photographer as well! He genuinely loves what he does and the City by the Bay.

We highly recommend Dylan's Tours and Roger in particular. Roger, we will never forget you!

Our tour guide was insufferable. I’m not even sure he told us his name at the beginning? I do know everything about his personal life though and nothing about San Francisco now though. He did not tell us fun facts about the city - he only focused on very negative things about the town, if he shared anything, making me wonder why we even bothered coming. I wish there had been cool facts about each neighborhood instead of him just talking about all his friends and how he’s a boat captain and bragging about going to Europe CONSTANTLY. He played don’t stop believing on loop for 13 minutes straight - my ears almost bled. Five people asked to get off the tour before it even ended, so I have a feeling we weren’t the only ones annoyed by him.

The sites we went to were beautiful and we were very lucky to have good weather - a perfect day was almost completely ruined by A very bad tour guide.

I imagine if he wasn’t your tour guide, and you got someone who was knowledgeable and not just name dropping people in his life the whole time, this would be an awesome tour. The busses were really nice and having someone take you around to see all the spots is cool.

Wow, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you know who your guide was? This doesn't sound like one of our tour guides. That being said, I still want to address your negative review. This is the first real negative feedback we have received about any of our tour guides. I have brought this review to the attention of our team and we wanted to use this review as a reminder of what NOT to do. You are absolutely right, there is no need to be playing music for 13 minutes, or "bragging" about anything, none the less about going to Europe (that's odd) or discussing only negative things about the city. Everything you mentioned is completely noteworthy. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our city and the overall experience. Please contact us if you have any other questions. Our email is info@dylanstours.com Thanks, Ted

We had the best day ever with Roger - he was a great tour guide, clearly loved his job and his enthusiasm and knowledge made the tour a very memorable and fun one. The day started down at Fisherman’s Wharf and we went across the Golden Gate to Muir Woods with several stops in between. We then went to Sausalito for lunch and then onto the city tour before being dropped at the Alcatraz ferry. There were plenty of restroom breaks and photo opportunities. The whole day was fun, interesting and well worth the money. Thank you for looking after us so well Roger - we had a blast 👏👏

This tour was simply amazing.

We were looked after by Captain Rogers, who was simply excellent across the whole day. His knowledge of the city and interaction with the all the guests made the day.

Everywhere we went there was good and insightful information of the city. We went to all the spots to get great views of the city and captain rogers was always happy to help take photos of myself and my partner. Muir woods was simply sensational, the tour allowed for plenty of time to wonder around and immerse yourself in the area.

Having lunch in Sausalito was excellent with a recommendation for food given. We were also given the option for a shorter lunch to then squeeze more in of the tour.

Across my trip in America I went to SF, LA and vegas and this tour was the best I’d done across any of the places I’ve been.

If you’re in town make sure you book this tour. You won’t be disappointed

This was our first trip to San Francisco. I was a little nervous traveling around, so I decided the best way to see the city was going on a tour. Dylan's Tour and Patrick, our guide, were top notch and did not disappoint. Born and raised in the city, he shared a lot of stories and recommendations that we appreciated. Eating lunch outside along the coast at the deli, reminded us of our time in Italy. Muir Woods was incredible. Our son's favorite part was the time spent at Alcatraz. It was smart that we ended there so that we could take as much time as we liked and we did. Thank you Patrick and company for making our San Francisco trip A TREAT!

We decided to take the full day San Francisco & Muir Woods tour with Alcatraz on our first full day in San Francisco. It was a great way to see different parts of the city and get ideas of where to go for the rest of the week.

We really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the tour, from the busy city to the serene Muir Woods to a quiet waterfront in Sausalito. Then back to the city to hop on the ferry to Alcatraz.

Rolando was an excellent guide. Very friendly, safe driver, knew lots of interesting tidbits of SF info, and gave great recommendations.

We would recommend this trip to any first timer to the city!

By far the BEST way to experience what San Francisco has to offer. My wife and I had an amazing time. Patrick was outstanding. The way he combines the history of the city with great music was so much fun!! Even slid in an ode to the great music of the PNW. This was the best birthday I’ve had in a long time!! Thank you Patrick for making this a very memorable day!!
