About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Gerty710 contributionsGreat experienceCouldn’t ask for a better tour. Jeffrey made us feel very comfortable and was a great tour guide. He was very informative and was personable, which made for a great trip. The sites, the food and of course the wineries were top notch! Thanks for a great day.Written October 6, 2024
- Gerty710 contributionsMuir WoodsWhat a great way to see the city and explore the big trees! Highly recommend anyone to do this tour. The small group is definitely the way to go!Written October 6, 2024
- ptk18200 contributionsWorth The MoneyMy 10am tour was canceled but the manager Patrick contacted me to offer the 8am tour, I am glad I accepted it. This tour was worth the time & money. Our tour guide, Sully was very knowledgeable and informative. Due to the Alcatraz tour being canceled (due to electricity issues), we were able to go to additional locations on the tour. Lunch at Sausalito was a plus.Written October 5, 2024
- P2279CAjessicao0 contributionsGreat Wine Tasting TourOur tour bus driver Jeffrey was amazing. Very knowledgeable on the city of San Francisco and the wineries. Napa valley and Sonoma Valley was beautiful. Before the getting into the valley we were able to stop at the Golden Gate Bridge for a nice scenic view. After that we headed into the valley and before our first sip of wine, we stopped for a snack at Oxbow Food Market. It’s a great snack area. Many food options and they were delicious. Fresh juice bar, bagels, yummy empanadas. Yes we tried as many things as possible within our 30 mins break lol. We enjoyed the first wineries we visited more than the second wineries. First winery the gentleman Ruby was attentive and friendly. They have harvested all the grapes already due to the heat wave but Watever grapes were still there they allowed us to pick off the wines. Which was great to try out. We had a two hour lunch break at the Sonoma Plaza. Must try one of the Michelin star restaurants and finish off with the homemade ice cream shop there at the plaza. The second winery the host wasn’t attentive and more absent to the group. But Jeffrey made sure to keep every entertained by ensuring our glasses was always filled with wine. Overall a great experience. I would recommend it.Written October 5, 2024
- O5238EDguilhermer0 contributionsAmazing experienceWe had an absolutely wonderful time on the tour! The entire day was perfectly organized, and we enjoyed every moment. The guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and good at taking pictures, making the experience even more special. The winery visits were fantastic, offering delightful wines and a great atmosphere. The scenic stops, like the Golden Gate Bridge and Sonoma Square, were memorable highlights, and everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. Thank you for such an amazing day!Written October 4, 2024

- Eurotravel230 contributionsRecommended TourFabulous Dylan’s Tour with Patrick our guide, he was knowledgeable, fun and our photographer. We visited lots of sites around SF, onto walking around the amazing Muir Woods which should not be missed, we stopped for lunch in beautiful Sausalito and finally the notorious Alcatraz. Wonderful day, thank youWritten September 20, 2024
- judywA6037EW0 contributionsGood for lovers of Chardonnay and Pinot NoirThis tour would be great for lovers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Unfortunately, that isn't me. Our driver (Per) was certainly charming, informative and accommodating, but it was disappointing to go to two wineries that offered primarily my two least favorite wine varieties. If I had known those would be the stops in advance, I would have booked a different tour. Our first stop at Nicholson Ranch had a terrific host, and that was lovely and fun, but the second stop (Ru Vango) paled in comparison, and offered very similar wine specialties. I would have loved to visit a winery that offered Sauv Blanc, or Cab Sauv as the second stop to learn about and taste other varieties. Live and learn. I'll do more research in advance next time!Written September 17, 2024
- melissabL6333QZ0 contributionsAmazing TourThis was such a great tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating and did a great job telling us the history of the city. Each stop was fantastic and had just enough time to soak it in. This was a really easy, stress-free way to experience the city for the day and I’d definitely recommend it.Written September 16, 2024
- Biggjim333220 contributionsFun wine timeWe had the nest time, Jeffery our guide was amazing he kept it interesting and fun. The stops were perfect amount of time and wine was delish.Written September 13, 2024
- EvaT15740 contributionsWe loved itWe bought the tour with option of visiting Alcatraz and paid for two of us $385.62 . Entry to Muir woods is not included in the price and we paid there $15 per persons, there is no discount for seniors. The tour guide was excellent, told us a lot from the history, about famous people living in certain areas, etc. We had about 50 minutes lunch break in Sausalito, hour and half in Muir Woods, short stop to make photo with Golden Bridge. The tour went through Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf. Most of the people bought also tour with the option included Alcatraz so when we finished the program in the city the bus stopped at Pier 33 from where the ferry took us to Alcatraz. Everything was perfect up to this point as we've been told to go to the ticket office and say that we are from Dylan tour but it was a bit chaotic. I expected that the guide would take the group and arrange for them smooth continuing of the trip (checking of the required document and receiving tickets). Despite of this we enjoyed every minute of it and the money paid was worth.Written September 9, 2024

This is an excellent tour for those wanting an intimate and up close tour of San Francisco. From Fisherman's Wharf , The Golden Gate Bridge , Haight Ashbury Distirct, to the "Pink Ladies ", you see many of San Francisco's eclectic and iconic sights as you ride along its streets in an e-bike. Our guide, Zach, along the tour gave recommendations on places to eat and less "touristy" places to see as well. This is a great street level tour that gives you the noise, smell, and vibe of a major city as you ride along with traffic on its bike lane like a local.

The bikes were really nice, in good condition, and the shopkeeper helping us set up was very friendly. This was by far the best way to see all of San Francisco in an easy and fun way. I loved it so much, if we had time I would have rented them a second day to do it again.
Bring layers to bundle up (we were there in July), some areas by the water can be very windy/chilly.

We loved our E-bike tour with Dylan’s. We were the only 2 booked on so ended up having our own private tour. It was the best way to see so much of the city which we would never have been able to access on foot. Our tour guide didn’t rush us at all and allowed us plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the tour, also provided us with lots of interesting information about the city and the landmarks. We had a great day and would highly recommend you book this tour when visiting San Francisco!

The e-bike tour was fantastic. We learned so many interesting things about the city from Desmond and when we were done we got to keep the bikes and continue exploring until 6pm. We’ve been to San Francisco several times and this time we saw many things we’ve never seen before. Highly recommended!

Great overview of the city with a longtime resident who was really knowledgeable about the city and its history. This tour was the highlight of our week in SanFran. My 16yo son loved “bombing down” the city streets of Pacific Heights and also riding across the Golden Gate Bridge. Our guide Desmond made this a lot of fun, and we especially loved that he had a speaker in his backpack so we had a soundtrack to our city tour. :) One nice addition was the tour included gloves to wear while we rode, which was necessary since the wind made it a bit cold.

THIS IS A MUST! Had a really great ride and the time just flew by. This is the only way to do the hills in San Francisco. Really enjoyed our tour guide, Jermaine. He was funny, informative, and really gave us a whole different view of the city. We would definitely do this again. We had a very cool day and the key was the layering.

We had the best time on our electric bike tour! We had our tour a week before The city of SF shut down because of COVID-19. At one of the routine stops on a hill we by chance saw the cruise ship that had 40+ COVID carriers navigating into the bay. Aaron was the best tour guide ever and took frequent breaks. We started on time and ended early. Definitely worth the money, I can’t wait to go back to SF and take another tour with Dylan’a tours!😃

Hi lexi29757,
Thanks for taking the time to write us a review, we really appreciate the positive feedback.
Aaron is an awesome guide!
Exploring San Francisco by electric bike is both refreshing and exhilarating.
We appreciate that you found the tour "worth the money". Because of restrictions on capacity per tour, we were forced to raise our prices.
We really appreciate you supporting our small business!
Thanks,
Dylan

If you do ONE THING in San Francisco, make it this tour!! There is nothing like experiencing the city over hill and vale and bridge with the bay mist in your face and breathing in all the greenness. I was a little nervous because I am 59 and not athletic at all, but the ebikes were the perfect choice. Our tour guide, Per, was patient, knowledgeable, and funny! This was a birthday trip with my daughter, and biking across the Golden Gate Bridge will forever be a treasured memory!

Beautiful weather, fun ride and informative tour guide. I had never rode an e-bike previously and Dylan made sure I was comfortable riding it prior to leaving his bike shop. That meant a lot to me and allowed me to have an excellent tour. Thanks Dylan! I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see San Francisco have a fabulous time on an e-bike.

My family and I took an electric bike tour through San Francisco. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, which highlighted a great deal of the history and interesting facts of the area. The tour took us through the Presidio, to the Golden Gate bridge, through Chinatown, through an area with expensive homes, etc. We then were allowed to keep our bikes for the balance of the afternoon to explore on our own, which allowed us to take our bikes over the Golden Gate, and to do some other exploring. All told, we had a really enjoyable experience with Dylan's Tours.

Is the ebike rental included in the $99 as it is not listed under the inclusions.

Hi we wanted to cycle over the bridge - is this possible on this tour?
Also is it suitable for 14 and 11 yr olds who can cycle?
Written July 9, 2019
I thought I wanted to bike across the bridge, too, but it wasn’t included in the tour we did. Instead we biked to the visitor center and had about 30-45 minutes to walk around, including on the bridge. After walking in the bridge I realized there is no way I’d want to bike across it. Pedestrians and bikes share a lane and so many people are unaware of those around them that it’d be terrifying to try and dodge pedestrians on the bridge.

hi, I see on the map that this tour goes near Lombard street. Does the tour stop there or would we at least ride past the crooked street (to at least see it)?
Written June 6, 2019
No, you do not stop there. But perhaps if you’re close, maybe you can request to stop. Probably better to call them to confirm just in case if your heart is set on it.
Written July 11, 2019
Hi does the tour go to the painted ladies? Thanks
Written June 5, 2019
Does this tour include a trip TO the Golden Gate Bridge? I wanted to go by it, not just a distant view. We will be there on the 22nd of October.
Written October 12, 2018
Hello, yes the electric bike tour stops at the Golden Gate Bridge; the tour guide will watch the bikes and they give you roughly 20 minutes to explore the bridge. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate, we absolutely loved this tour! Enjoy!

Are the electric bikes safe for pregnant women? I will be 6 months along.
Written September 4, 2018
Just be careful that you don't accidentally hit the electric throttle when you are getting on and off the bike, as that MAY cause you to stumble.

Hi - I have two very active kids - 13 & 15 (can supply heights) - are they ok to do the 6 hr electric bike tour? If not, do you offer alternatives for kids their age?
Thanks

Hi, we just did the 6hr bike tour (04/24) it was fantastic! The kids will be fine, its not too strenuous and the time flys by as you have so much to see. Make sure you wear layers if it is a bit cool.

hi. I did the tour last November and it was great, I am sure your kids will also like it. It is not very strenuous and there is lots of things to see so the kids will be pretty occupied. The best thing about the tour is the fantastic scenery
