- Freedom6665689959900Nobhill Tour- do not waste your moneyAvoid wasting both your money and time. The duration should be reduced from 2.5 hours to merely 1.5 hours. The time spent at the Fairmont hotel dragged on for too long; ideally, it should have been limited to just 20-30 minutes. The tour guide's narrative was frequently disrupted by noises from traffic, dogs, passing cars, and the like, causing them to lose their train of thought. When discussing historical events, a laser-focused and engaging approach is necessary. The information should be delivered concisely. The conclusion, involving sitting at a table, playing a game, and receiving chocolate candy, left me feeling like a child. Given that I am a senior, this experience was overly excessive for me.
- jamescY7793GN00Loved it!Engaging, entertaining, organized, and interesting history told through various places of Nob Hill. Valerie knows her history and delivers it so well. I’ll be checking out her other tours and am confident they will deliver like this one did.

Our guide, Valerie, was very knowledgeable and personable. We appreciated her straight forward, warm, and genuine style of presenting history. Learning about the railroad barons and silver magnates behind the Nob Hill development, was fascinating. We saw incredible city views as well!

- Melanie261700FascinatingMy husband and I really enjoyed our tour today with Valerie. Whilst it didn’t spread a huge area it did cover the history of the significant sites and the amazing homes which once stood there. Valerie herself was very interesting and I would have loved to have spent more time with her.

Had a wonderful and enlightening tour with Rajni. She is very passionate about San Francisco and knows so much history and where the hidden gems are. Most I would have passed by if she hadn't been there to show me. We had a great time and the tour was very informative.

Our guide, Radje (sp?), was very knowledgeable and organized. We saw so many architectural details in Union Sq. restaurants, bars, and hotels that we never would have found on our own. And we come every year in October to the city. From beautiful cove ceilings to art deco bars to modern abstract paintings, it was all a delight. We learned some history too, and she got us to look up in Chinatown in order to see the colorful curving Chinese roofs. Definitely worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour experience with Valarie. Highlights for us were the St. Francis Hotel and the Neiman Marcus rotunda. We really appreciated the historical and architectural details Valarie provided and it was fun to see familiar sights through new eyes. As a bonus, it was a good pandemic-friendly (mostly outdoors) activity. We’re looking forward to another Hobnob tour!
