Avoid wasting both your money and time. The duration should be reduced from 2.5 hours to merely 1.5 hours. The time spent at the Fairmont hotel dragged on for too long; ideally, it should have been limited to just 20-30 minutes. The tour guide's narrative was frequently disrupted by noises from traffic, dogs, passing cars, and the like, causing them to lose their train of thought. When discussing historical events, a laser-focused and engaging approach is necessary. The information should be delivered concisely. The conclusion, involving sitting at a table, playing a game, and receiving chocolate candy, left me feeling like a child. Given that I am a senior, this experience was overly excessive for me.

Engaging, entertaining, organized, and interesting history told through various places of Nob Hill. Valerie knows her history and delivers it so well. I’ll be checking out her other tours and am confident they will deliver like this one did.

Valarie has an amazing knowledge of the nooks, crannies and historical tidbits of the architecture of San Francisco. We have been visiting San Francisco for many years but never noticed some of architectural gems that Valarie pointed out as we strolled on our 2.5 hour tour.

My husband and I enjoyed learning the history of notable Nob Hill buildings on this easy and interesting walking tour. Our guide, Valerie, was very knowledgeable and personable. We appreciated her straight forward, warm, and genuine style of presenting history. Learning about the railroad barons and silver magnates behind the Nob Hill development, was fascinating. We saw incredible city views as well!
