      Such fun
Such fun. We saw much more than we would have otherwise. Not quite so much fun in rush hour so just be aware of that but don't let it put you off. 100% recommend you give it a go.

GoTour Tandem Bike Fun in SF!
Making reservations was easy, the staff were helpful, and the dash-mounted tour system was great in guiding our trip! It was nice being able to stop at locations we were interested in - a great benefit of a directed tour taken at your own pace. Highly recommend the experience!

      The best trip ever.
This was the best and most amazing trip we have been on. It was so informative and took you to places no other tour takes you. Do not miss out. Had we had time we would definitely do it again.

      What a great experience!
What a memorable experience! We saw things in San Francisco we would have never seen if it wasn’t for this tour. The views were incredible and my husband and I had an absolute blast! We went with another couple and had many laughs at stop lights and stop signs. lol We did the three hr tour and we were amazed the sites we were able to see in that time. The GPSpad is very easy to follow and I would recommend paying the extra for the up grade. I highly recommend this trip and would make the time to do it if it’s not in your plans yet.

A fun way to explore San Francisco
We did a 30 minute tour, which was free with the go city pass. It enabled us to go around the wharf area, and drive down the crookedest street, which was a fun way to see it!

A great day in San Francisco
Had so much fun on our GoCar tour. Unique way to learn about the city. We only had one day in San Francisco so we wanted to maximize our time and this was a perfect way for us to see and learn about SF but on our own time too. Navigation worked well and we learned a lot from the narration We were glad we did it early in the day.

Second time and it’s still just as fun!
I did this same tour 19 years ago when my best friend and I came to SF. When I brought my husband here for his first time I knew I wanted to take him. He was skeptical but 2 blocks in he was hooked.

      GoCar Tours so much fun!
So much fun! An awesome way to see the San Fran points of interest. The cart was easy to drive. And the roads aren’t that busy, making it really simple to get around. The guided tour was informative without being annoying. Staff were friendly and helpful at collection, safety briefing and return. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We had 48 hours to spend in San Francisco with my 19 year old daughter. She had just had surgery the month before and was not able to walk very far.
We thought the go cars and scooters would be a great solution.
I reserved the scooters for 24 hours (since you only have to be 18 to drive the scooters, unlike the cars which is 21) I thought it would be more fun for my daughter if she could drive. As we were going through orientation, we decided to swap to a car and a scooter so one of us could take pictures as we were driving around. The company was great to work with us as we changed our plans.
Our original plan was to use the vehicles for just one day (renting the full 24 hours because it was cheaper), but we had so much fun we ended up coming back the next morning to finish out our time.
We were able to drive all over the city and the gps guided tour was great! The 'tour' talked just enough to point out things of interest (and tell a few jokes), but not so much that it was distracting or interfered with getting to enjoy the sites in front of us.
We did have a break down with our cat and the company was great to bring a replacement out to us right away.
Customer service was top notch and the cars were an amazing experience! Highly recommended!

This was such a great experience! We had only a half-day to spare in SFO on a business trip. Having been stuck in Union Square for days, we wanted to get out and actually see the city. Tour buses were out of the question (not my style) and plotting out an Uber route was too much work. Instead, we took the cable car from Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf, checked out our Go Car (after a brief training video), and zoomed around the city, getting up close and personal with the Golden Gate Bridge, awestruck by the giant Pacific waves at the beach, taking in the Full House backdrop, and zipping through the cutest neighborhoods - while laughing the entire time. The GPS tour guide gave us a little bit of history and a little bit of sass along the way. I wish we had more time to stop at all the little detours suggested. We were able to conveniently return the GoCar to the Union Square station.

Amazing real life Mario Kart experience in the city of San Francisco! You are able to see all the popular sites with the 8-hour tour reservation. A fun adventure for all ages. The vehicle is easy to operate.

4 out of 5 star rating because the audio GPS guide was difficult to hear over the wind, engine, and traffic. The visual GPS also lagged. This made it difficult to navigate the pre-planned pathway for the cart. Please consider increasing the volume on the vehicle for clearer guidance.

We booked ahead of time and showed up to the location, after nearly 50 minutes of waiting in line, a person came out and told us to join a different line if we made a reservation ahead of time and filled out the electronic waiver- we did. He then proceeded to tell us if we were able to reschedule for a different time and that they did not have any cars. Almost an hour in waiting to be told the cars weren’t available, it’s a bummer. Wouldn’t book through them just because it was not coordinated and organized correctly. It’s not worth going to a place and finding out they overbooked themselves.

Rented the Arcimoto Electric Scooter online. After some confusion caused by the fact that the website only lets you fill out the car waiver and insurance, we got signed up for the scooter insurance. Ended up spending over 7 hours going all around San Francisco to see multiple outstanding viewpoints of the city, beaches around the city, and the bridges. Even took the scooter across the Golden Gate Bridge and down into Sausalito. Even got stuck on the freeway coming back but the Arcimoto was going up to 60 mph! Was a little cold and windy but heated seats helped to take a little of the sting out of it. Will do again if they are available in another city.

Pretty fun, but once the novelty wore off from the car itself, it needs some serious improvement.
    1. The cars are not eco-friendly and are loaded up with gasoline. As a result, they are loud and it makes it difficult to hear the guide voice even with the volume on max output.
    2. The GPS portion is somewhat misleading. The voice instructions, printed map, and screen don’t align with each other. They each have or say something a little different and don’t really match.
    3. We took a ton of wrong turns. The directions just aren’t all that great.
    4. After about 3 hrs., honestly, your butt starts to hurt. I wouldn’t do an all day rental.
    5. Our car wasn’t cleaned well. The ppl before us left gummy bears and they stuck to our shoes and backpack. We didn’t have paper towels to clean out the car.
    6. When you enter the room to put on helmets, there is no one to assist with adjustments. And, most of the helmets are missing snaps so they’re basically useless and you have to look through a bunch of helmets to actually find one with a snap.

Overall, it was unique and something fun to do. Just not so great on the overall execution of the experience.

We had so much fun on this self-guided GPS tour! It was great to be able to drive around the city in these modified moped-type vehicles and see the sights at our own pace. The audio quality is very good, and the content was great. They do a great job of providing historical and modern information about the points of interest on the route that you're on. There are two routes that you can choose from, and you can select the amount of time that you'd like to be out. We did the 3-hour tour and it was plenty of time to get around and have stops at certain places we wanted to explore more or to take pictures. The GoCar is great because it fits into small spaces easily, but is safe and follows all traffic laws. We'd definitely do this activity again!

There is a refundable deposit that is paid upfront. It is $150 with insurance and $500 without. This is for each vehicle.

This is explained in the mandatory waiver, it's posted on the glass and on the front of the sign where you can scan a QR code for the waiver. If you by some miracle manage to miss this. All I can say is wow.

It was amazing. Highly recommend to everyone. We had an incredible time.
The guide GPS was right on point. Every single site was beautiful. I will recommend to do 3+ hours, 3 hours for us was not enough to get off and take pictures on sites of interest.

This experience is definitely a must do if you are looking for a fun way to explore the City. After signing up You start with a 10 minute video on safety and how to operate your GoCar, grab a helmet, then off you go. The cars are equipped with GPS, a physical map with numbers to call if you need assistance, and an audio guide who does an amazing job of keeping you on course and providing all kinds of information and interesting facts about the areas you drive though.

There are 3 routes you can choose from and at least two different models of GoCars that I knew of.

I felt totally safe, the cars were easy to drive, and I never felt like I was lost.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was just the disorganization and confusion while trying to register to book the ride. I do recommend making a reservation a head of time. Our GoCar seemed pretty loud compared to others too.

    Definitely a must do!
