- MelissaB71100Terrafying and terrific!!!!!So much fun!!! Tara whipped us around to the top sites while entertaining us with local history, anecdotes, and jokes. Highly recommend!
- denisehU1513ZR00Great fun! Do this tour!!!My husband and I had the bus and Terrific Tianna all to ourselves for our tour! Tianna was knowledgeable and engaging. Several events in the city had streets blocked off but no worries, Tianna had it all in hand. There was room in the back for my husband's mobility scooter and Tianna was very patient while we loaded and unloaded. His first trip to SF, but I grew up here. Thanks for the memories! Do this tour!
- hcbluiz00Great groovy tour! This was a great highlight tour including the Golden Gate Bridge and Park; North Beach; the Castro; Haight Ashbury; restaurant recommendations; Palace of Fine Arts all in a festive groovy van! Tianna narrated fluidly as she drove the 1973 vintage art bus, but the BEST part was her curated playlist that complemented each neighborhood. Cannot recommend this tour any higher.
- F2028VZpaulas00So cool!Such a great way to get an authentic tour. We rode around in an awesome VW bus. People kept stopping to take pics of the bus, it was too cool. Tianna was great and took us to all of the cool spots in SF like the Golden Gate Bridge, Janis Joplins and the Grateful Dead’s houses while we listened to great tunes. She even stopped at a couple of places so we could take photos. Would def recommend!
- E4924JArobertc00Great tour of San FranciscoOur tour guide, Ky, was very knowledgeable about the area. Ky is also very passionate about the neighborhoods and that passion came out in his presentation! We would definitely recommend this tour!
- loeslein_k00Let love shine !Tyana was a wonderful tour guide! Definitely would recommend!! We saw all the good stuff! Great experience to see most of SFO.
- Peteanddebandmatt00Taste of San Francisco as part of a road tripWe did this as a way of seeing as much of San Francisco as we could in a short stay. We were not disappointed and it made us wish we were staying longer! Ky our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we saw things we would never have found for ourselves. If you are in the City for a short time, do this. If you are here for longer do this on your first day as it will help to orientate and inform your choices as to how to spend your time here. We are aged 25 to 60 and we all loved it!
- susanrC1505SN00Do an early morning tour to see moreThe promo material for this tour sounded good but only touches the surface of how much of San Fran you can see. We were on an 830 a.m. departure so we avoided any traffic issues which means you see more. Tara had great banter, good information on city history (current and past), and a good musical soundtrack. Nice to get some reviews on hidden food gems as we travel past or shops not to miss. This is an excellent tour to get the vibe of the city and see some of the more remote locations while the compact city highlights are easily accessed through public transport, including the cable car. Great vans, a slice of history and definitely turns heads, especially on Lombard st!
- 904JulieT00THE GROOVY tour to doA real “groovy” tour. Tara our guide was brilliant. Loved the dad jokes 😂 Saw so much more of the city in a short time which allowed us the option to go back to areas that interested us. The whole bus singing while driving down Lombard Street was fun. Highly recommend this tour!!
- LYNN52800One of best tours I’ve doneAbsolutely brilliant, thank you Tianna! We loved yr informative but most enjoyable your in the camper van. Worth every penny.
- charliegY3605GE00GREAT Intro to San Francisco! It was our first time visiting San Francisco. This tour was fun and informative. It took us to see well-known places, as well as many places we would not have seen or known about if we hadn't taken this tour. Ky was a fantastic tour guide. He was kind, witty, and knowledgeable. He let us decide on some of the destinations. The microbus was comfortable and well taken care of. This was the highlight of our trip! It's everything you would want in a tour of a city you've never been in. Please, consider them on your next trip!
- joannee32700So much fun!I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide Ky was so great! He was very knowledgeable, yet so chill! He took us all around and would honk the frog horn at all the kids and tourists that loved taking pictures of us as we drove along! It’s a great way to see the city and each unique neighborhood. We’re from NJ and shared our tour with 2 ladies from Scotland and 2 from Ontario! KY was very happy to take our pictures with the van and the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge! He pulled over so my Deadhead husband could get a picture in front of Jerry Garcia’s house. It was a great way to spend a Friday afternoon!
- mcostfish00This was an awesome experience! It was an awesome experience! Ky was interesting, informative and fun to be around. We learned a lot about SF and it’s history. Saw much more than we would have been able to do on our own. Highly recommend!!
- Expedition1300Great tour!Lovely tour of San Francisco. Tara was a very knowledgeable guide with a great attitude. We saw so much during the 2 hour tour, which would have been much more difficult if we had to do it on our own.
- 691rebeckas00A great time!Tara, our driver had an amazing knowledge of the city. She took us every place I had hoped we would see, and many I was unaware of. Not only was she a font of information, her delivery was sharp and witty. I had such a great time and learned so much! Peace!

Our tour guide was Johnny, and we had the pleasure of riding around the city in ‘Proud Mary’. Everyone who saw us had a smile on their face for our pretty little VW bus painted with famous faces from the SF era of peace & love. So many people wanted a quick pic with Mary! Johnnie was a great guide and embodied the spirit of chill and friendly with other drivers, people walking by and was very knowledgeable and fun.

Great idea for our family of 6 (max)! Judith was an authentic 60s guide with extensive details on area attractions. Only complaint was there don’t use any microphone so I heard very little in the back where VW bus was loud. If you get our same bus, expect it to be rough on your neck... getting up those hills can get jarring. We had stellar weather. A private tour lets you be flexible about what you’d like to see...loved that.

This was just great fun! The VW bus was cool, and Alfred was a great guide. We saw all the important sights, including great views of the Golden Gate Bridge. We learned a lot of new things about what we saw. Even our three teen girls enjoyed it.

The private 4 hour tour was genius. Kelly was our guide and she was amazing!
We experienced the entire city and more. I can't say enough about how great it was.
The time flew by and we had many stops for pictures!

I booked the Love bus for our family holiday and it lived up to everything I hoped it would do. What a fantastic experience and so much fun for us all. Our driver Alfred was exceptional and it was clearly obvious that he loves his job and his knowledge was exceptional. We saw all the sights that we wanted and stopped for amazing photo opportunities. While driving through the Golden Gate park we had a rather strange experience where we came across a driver who had no patience and was annoyed that Alfred was going slowly (showing us stuff) and started peeping her horn at us and when she was able to pass she flipped us off to which Alfred said "who flip's off the Love Bus". The only way to go down Lombard Street is in a Love Bus all the while listening and singing to fantastic songs. Anytime we are in San Francisco we will do this again as we loved it. Thanks for a great experience and making this trip part off our memories.

We did the 4 hour private tour with Judith as our driver / guide. She did an exceptional job maneuvering the manual drive bus through the tight spots, steep hills and terrible traffic in San Francisco. Got to see everything we asked for and them some. Had great suggestions of places to see and a lot of interesting facts and tidbits about SF. Drove down Lombard street which was fun. The colorful buses get a lot of attention and get places the big tour buses can't. Definitely recommend this company if your visiting SF or just want to learn more if your new to the areas.

My husband and I booked a Private San Francisco Love Tour while in town to see Metallica's S&M2. We didn't have a ton of time in the city, so we were hoping to see a lot and get a sense of the city's hippie past.
Our tour guide was Bob and we had a great morning with him. You can tell he loved his city and we always love touring a place with someone who is passionate about where they live.
Bob gave us a fun and informative tour of the city including visits and walks in the Botanical Gardens, the Painted Ladies, and Haight Asbury. We loved driving through the Castro and down Lombard Street. Our Hippie Van was really cool. The inside was as decorated as the outside and we saw tons of people taking photos of it everywhere we went. Bob also got us some great views of the Golden Gate and the skyline. He also shared some tips for where to go, eat, and shop in San Francisco, as well as sharing so much of what living in San Francisco is like.
It was great going at our own pace, since it was just the two of us and our tour guide on the private tour. We got so much more out of it that way!
If you're in San Francisco, I'd definitely recommend taking this tour! It's a great introduction to the city and a lot of fun!

Our family vacation made an awesome choice when we booked a private Love Tour of San Francisco! Tyler was an excellent driver/tour guide and hit all the sites on our bucket list and more! Having four hours to tour, we were able to get a good feel for the city and all the iconic photos we could have wanted.

All of us enjoyed the SF Private Love Tour on the VW hippy bus. Our tour guide, Cyrus was excellent. It was fun way to tour the city. You get to see more than you would in the bus busses.

Can we also add on Muir Woods?

The "love tour" did not include Muir Woods, it's maybe 30 minutes+ to get there. And you can spend a couple hours or more at Muir Woods, and Sausalito is a stop on the way back. The "love" tour is a couple hours around San Fran, totally worth it. We did a half day tour with "The Painted Ladies" and it was worth it. If you have an "America the Beautiful" pass you can use it for entry (good at all national parks). Hope that helps
