    A trip worth doing
Great tour, our driver James was phenomenal, he had a great sense of humour and very knowledgeable about everything. He kept us engaged the entire the trip. The bus was comfortable and trip seemed short because of James. The wineries and the wine was great

The Muir Woods is tops but you must have a reservation.
The Muir Woods is truly a breathing piece of nature. It's easy to get to - easy to walk - and inexpensive. The only problem is you now have to make a reservation well in advance. We did not know about this new system so we did not get in this time. It was very disssapointing!

    Muir Woods with extended family
We had a great experience going out to Muir Woods with Lester as our tour guide and driver. We felt safe with him as a driver and he was entertaining and knowledgeable! Thanks for the great morning.

Excellent tour around 2 vineyards, tasting some excellent wine. The drive from San Francisco has gorgeous views and very informative from the driver.

Great tour to Muir Woods for those with no car and/pressed for time
My friend and I didn’t want to worry about the hassle and cost of renting a car so this tour turned out to a great option. James, our driver, is a colorful character. I found him to be informative and funny. Yes, he talks A LOT but I actually enjoyed it. The bus was comfortable. I recommend signing up for the morning tour to avoid the crowds. We had about an hour and a half at Muir Woods which was really the minimum amount of time needed to explore the park’s main trails and make a brief visit to the gift shop. We didn’t have enough to explore the tertiary paths. I would have preferred an additional 30 minutes for the tour but if you are pressed for time and don’t want to rent a car, it’s hard to beat. We made a stop at Sausalito on the way back from Muir Woods but decided to take the ferry (which is an option) from there back to San Francisco’s Fisherman Wharf. We had spent enough time in the van so we thought the ferry would be a far more exciting way to return to the city which it was. Muir Woods is stunning!

Great wine, but overall super disappointed
Great experience traveling wine country and stopping at 3 of them for tastings! Had a great time exploring and taking in information about the wines we tasted! However we didn't expect the group environment to be what it was. From the beginning of our 8:30am tour there was a big group of a super loud party that would scream at the top of their lungs no exaggeration . It would only get louder and louder after every stop we made, we could barely hear what the driver was saying while driving around sf . I couldn't hear what my gf was saying and we were sitting right next to eachother. We booked this trip for a relaxing getaway and the entire time in the bus we would get everything but that. I would literally be covering my ears while this group in their mid 30's yelled and actually barked like animals the entire trip and it was super obnoxious and really disappointing. The other couples on the tour weren't like that and actually were really nice and offered to take pictures for us , and I doubt they enjoyed the super loud environment. If you want to get drunk and yell inside of a bus then this is the trip for you! If you want a relaxing getaway with your partner for the day then I would steer far away from this specific tour company. Like I mentioned we loved the locations and drivers knowledge but I wouldn't be able to recommend this place to anyone let alone my close friends/family.

    The Experienece was Great
This Napa and Sonoma wine tour was an absolute dream! From the moment we stepped onto the bus, we were greeted with enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge about the region. Our guide was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating insights into the winemaking process and the history of the area. The wineries we visited were truly exceptional. Each one offered a unique experience, from stunning vineyard views to passionate winemakers. The tastings were a delightful journey through a variety of flavors, and we discovered several new favorites.

    Easy wine trip
For the price point, this is really worth it. No need to bother with a car rental and just sit in a bus and enjoy wine. The bus had only tourist from out of town. The wineries are ok but if you want to enjoy higher end wine tours this might not be for you.

5 out of 5. We had an incredible day on this tour, our driver was so kind, we were on time to all our spots & she stopped for picturesque spots across Sonoma, Napa & San Fran! We had such a fun day, can’t recommend this tour enough, perfect half-day price as well!

    Very informative
I've given this a five and this would have been for the driver/guide alone! He was a lot of fun and knew his stuff! Not about the wine tour exactly, but for his knowledge of the area, I think his name was James. We visited two wineries, first was the Madonna - who grew grapes organically. This was a more professional presentation and a small family concern by some standards. We had about four samples of wine and it was very nice. Second was the Ru Vango vineyard. Again we sampled four wines and this was a larger business, but not so much of a presentation as the former. The two hosts were really friendly and there was no pressure to buy! The ambience and so relaxing in the terrace A lovely couple of hours and the drive into Napa is lovely

4 hours of driving, 2 hours of wine
Six hours for two stops seemed fine. Six hours, only two of which are actually spent at a winery is ridiculous. The driver was difficult to understand and a terrible driver. We both got carsick. Some factoids he threw out on the drive were somewhat interesting. The music between informational segments was so loud we could barely hear each other talk. (It’s not a party bus). The 1st stop, the “tour” was basically a how to make wine while we’re standing in the room of barrels. We didn’t see much of anything else. The wines were varied, probably something for every taste, which is a good call. For the most part, the first stop was pretty boring, though the wine selection was good for people who enjoy California wines. The second stop, an Italian-style winery, is the only reason the tour is getting an additional star. The stop itself gets 5 stars. A cheeseboard was available for an additional cost, and it was well worth it. Delicious! The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant. She was able to pinpoint my tastes as well as my husband’s and give us advice on how to move forward with discovering new ones we enjoy. If we were to do it again, I’d save myself $100 and 3 hours and just go to Muscardini.

    Wonderful
I would definitely recommend this tour 100% Our driver Lester was wonderful and shared so much interesting facts about different locations throughout our drive. Muir Forest was amazing , it is wonderful and amazing. Sausalito is pretty there are shops, restaurants and views . I recommend Sausalito Tacos great food, service and atmosphere. If you’re not pressed for time take the Ferry back, this gives more time to explore and enjoy your experience. The ferry ride to the pier provides so many photo opportunities, I took some of my best pictures of the Golden Gate bridge. Enjoy!

This was an excellent tour of Muir Woods National Monument, Sausalito and Napa Valley wineries. The bus drive was very knowledgeable and personable making the driving part of trip pleasant. Muir Woods was amazing, the Redwood trees were specular! I recommend eating lunch at the Fish and Chips shop across from parking lot on waterfront, the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the wine tours at Madonna Estate and Ru Vango, the vast amount of vineyards was amazing. I highly recommend this excursion when visiting San Francisco.

A great combo trip. Muir woods was amazing. Just enough time to do the long circuit. The Napa and Sonoma wineries (one each) were a great overview. Our drivers were very knowledgeable and engaging. The short lunch stop in Sausalito was not very exciting. Barely time for lunch. Maybe a longer stop with an activity would be good.

The Muir Woods, Sausalito, Half-Day wine tour was great. The height, girth, and age of the redwood trees real give you an eye opening reality check on how short human life really is. The quiet peace of the forest is refreshing. Sausalito has a great free spirited vibe that is nice. Sonoma and Napa were good. But Madonna Estate Winery in Sonoma was the best. Informative, inviting, and top shelf wine. This combo is a must do.

We unfortunately didn’t make it to the tour as my friend fell walking to the tour and seriously injured herself. We immediately contacted the company while on the way to urgent care. They were so caring and responsive. They helped us resolve the issue and i will definitely book with them the next time I’m in San Francisco!

Pros: We were delivered to and from Muir Woods in one piece. The bus was clean and timely.

Cons: Someone please tell the driver to come up for air. He NEVER. STOPPED. TALKING. Everyone on the bus was complaining to one another about his incessant rambling. I’m sure he was good intentioned, but after listening to stories that had nothing to do with the trip for hours, my group has decided it’s best to sit in much needed silence for awhile after our return.

Nice bus ride out to Muir Woods with a picture taking stop along the way at the Golden Gate Bridge. Our driver was both knowledgeable and chatty. A few minutes of quiet time to savor the experience along the way would have been nice. The redwoods are amazing! You just have to see them to appreciate. We got off the bus at Sausalito which is such a quaint little town with a beautiful view of the bay. Lots of places to have lunch or a snack and browse through the interesting shops. The ferry ride back to Fisherman’s Wharf takes about 20 minutes. Lots of bikers do day trips and are on those afternoon ferries but there is a separate line for non bikers. Be sure to get in that one for quicker access when boarding.

We were staying in SF for my birthday and decided to visit Muir Woods. We picked up a brochure at the concierge desk and at the last minute chose the Muir Woods and Sausilito tour. I called early in the am and spoke to a nice young woman who was able to have us picked up at our hotel for the first tour of the day. The staff is very organized and our driver was full of knowledge as well as being highly skilled in negotiating the windy roads to and from Muir Woods. We had about 90 minutes to hike and explore and then were dropped off in Sausilito. which is a beautiful town. Then an included ferry ride back to pier 41. All in all a great day!!
