2 Breweries + 1 Craft Tavern & 10 Miles of Biking on a Beautiful San Francisco Afternoon
May 2019 • Solo
Alexei was a wonderful tour guide. He is a native of San Francisco & very knowledgeable about the history of the City.

Important to note that the entire tour encompasses approximately 3 hours and about 10 miles of biking, with the vast majority of it on flat road riding, but there were 2 points were you would peddle up hill.

Tour started by meeting in China Town where we were each provided with a Helmet, Bike and release form to sign. Including the tour guide there were 6 of us on the tour.

We rode to the Piers, around the Baseball stadium, and by the corporate offices of some of the tech giants. We stopped a couple times for Alexei to explain various historical points.

First stop was Black Hammer brewery. There is either a Pint or 2 beer tasters included in the tour at the 1st stop. Good selection of craft beers.

2nd stop was Local Brewery company. 16+ beers on tap. Brewmaster & beer tender explained the brewing process.

3rd stop was Biergarten a Craft Outdoor Tavern around the Mission District. Definitely try the Bratworst with the potatoes, very good. No beer brewed on site.

At the 2nd & 3rd stops, the tour does not cover the cost of beers or food.

Tour ended where we had started in China Town.

The tour was very informative. We had amazing weather. At the end of the tour each individual stated that they would definitely do the Bike & Brews tour again.
