Good tour with a friendly guide. Danny was a happy and informative guide and driver.

We visited 3 wineries with a few differences. Lunch stop had plenty of variety.

We were pretty lucky that the weather cleared for the wine area as it's known for a lot of fog.

Nothing as expected!
The driver cannot shut up- literally- repeating over and over details each elementary pupil knows. Continueous promotion of Grey Line services- sorry, but I booked Napa Valley tour to enjoy the ride and horisons, not to listen to contienous, irrelevat noise.
Only one Napa Valley vinery, and that one by the road. I would expect real wineries and green hills. The rest of the tour is on Sonoma. None of relevant, more known vineries have been visited.
Kind hosts, but very basic knowledge in wine production.

Dear Jelena, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry that our tour guide didn't meet your expectations. Our wineries partners are located in Napa/Sonoma and the wineries to be visited change based on their schedule. We hope you will come to see us someday for a different experience. Sincerely, Gray Line.

Drink. Don't drive. The idea of doing a scheduled tour was a last-minute decision as we originally planned on renting and driving as we had been thinking about visiting other wineries.

Our driver, Danny, was engaging and funny. His knowledge of the history of each city/town was entertaining and formative, even though English isn't his first language and some words were difficult to understand. I wasn't planning on learning history along the way.

We visited three wineries, and apparently the schedule changes. During this trip, we visited Roche, Madonna and BR Cohen.

As we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, we stopped for photos. It was a sunny, beautiful day. then continued on to our first stop: Roche. Our winery guide, Natalie, was awesome and her fellow pourers were very generous. As our first stop, I learned more about the climate and soil, and how it affected the grapes. The 2021 Chardonnay Carneros converted me to Chardonnay. Also pleasantly surprised with my new love of Pinot Noir.

Madonna was next, and no ... there's no connection to the Madonna (lol). Our guide, Barry, spent time teaching us tips on how to experience wine from the start. Here, I was surprised by the red Zin. Pinot Noir was still a stand out for me. One winery guide, who also was the pourer, which meant lighter pours.*

Lunch was in Sonoma Plaza, where I've been and had been hoping to get back to The Girl and the Fig. What we didn't plan on was the need for reservations. We did find a tapas place, Tasca Tasca, that could seat us and was the perfect pairing for the wine consumed already. After lunch, we "popped" in next door at Sigh, a champagne and sparkling bar, for frozen drinks to enjoy as dessert.

Last stop was BR Cohen, fun to learn that he was the manager of the Doobie Brothers. The wine was really good, but there was one guide who also poured, which is harder for a large group.* The winery is a beautiful space.

*Other reviews have acknowledged lighter pours at various locations, BUT when you put the day into perspective, we drank a lot of wine for the price point. I was glad we had a driver to fully enjoy the experience.

The tour was exactly as I expected it to be. It was a good value in that we went to three wineries and got to ride a bus all over, even stopping at the Golden Gate Bridge for photos. Lunch on our own was nice also.

Had a real fun time. Roche winery was the first and best stop. Everyone was so nice and filled up our glasses. Lunch on our own was nice. Last two vineyards were not quite as welcoming and tighter with the tasting. Bus driver named Danny did a nice job entertaining. Would have been better if they would have had a narrator on the bus telling us what we were seeing. Danny struggled a bit with English but tried hard. Fun to do on a wet day

The Sonoma/Napa Wine Country tour was awesome. We started the tour stopping at Vista Point for an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We then proceeded to Sonoma County. Our driver Dani was very knowledgeable of the wine varietals of Sonoma/Napa region as well as the different wineries we passed along the way to our first stop which was BR Cohn. BR Cohn had the typical postcard views expected from a California vineyard. I wish we could have had more time to stay there. The next stop was Muscardini Cellars. I was surprised we went there because the itinerary listed on TripAdvisor says we were to go to Roche Winery. I guess they periodically change wineries. This turned out to be a good deviation. Muscardini Cellars offers Italian style wines, not typical of the wines in the region. Karen, who organized our wine tastings was very knowledgeable of the history of the winery as well as the Italian style wines offered. She even explained to the group the proper way to drink and enjoy the wine. Our last stop was Madonna Estate Winery in Napa. The winery guide Richard was very knowledgeable and explained how Madonna is one of the longest running family owned and operated wineries in the region. I was surprised how good one of there white wines tasted. The Sonoma/Napa winery tour was a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a taste of what Sonoma/Napa have to offer. Would enjoy going again.

Great day trip with the girls. The meeting place was a little vague, but we found it. Comfortable coach-style bus takes you to Napa Valley where we visited several informative wineries with tastings and snacks. Plenty of time to look around and make purchases. Highly recommend.
