Although the fog obstructed our sunset, the ride was amazing. It was fun and exciting. The crew was fun, friendly and interactive. They had extra warm coats onboard for their customers that may not have prepared for the cold winds. The Catamaran was well maintained and we got to help hoist the main sale. There is comfort on the inside and adventure on the out. lots of great photos from the Catamaran as well. they let my wife steer the vessel. See photos. I highly recommend these folks. we had a blast! prepare to dress warm and they can't control the weather, but they can control the fun.

Great crew, they were laid back, friendly, personable, and available to take pictures with your phone of you and your family and friends with the iconic landmarks, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, in the background. Fantastic and unique views of the Golden Gate Bridge that are far better than the land based viewing spots. You get closer to Alcatraz for great pictures with Alcatraz in the background. I also, thought it was a nice touch that the crew had coats available for the passengers. Because it did get windy and cold on the Bay. As, for the bar on board, lower your expectations if drinking wine from a can is not your thing. There is no hard liquor sold on board, so no mixed drinks or cocktails. Snacks are available, but no real food offered. The one area of improvement, as far as for me, is the brochure information needs to be updated. My wife and I were actually looking forward to using the audio guide advertised in the brochure. We were sure to bring our headphones. However, they do not offer the audio guide anymore. And although the crew were knowledgeable, there were a few questions about the landmarks that the crew member we were talking to did not know the answers. Also, the COVID safety measures are no longer applicable. Finally, lower your expectation of actually seeing the sun set on the Bay. For our trip, there was heavy overcast and no sunset. Apparently, the reviews my wife and I read, about the weather on the Bay could possibly be cloudy, rainy, windy, and cold is true. So we were prepared. And was not disappointed about no sunset.

This was a really fun experience. the Crew was great. They were tons of fun and very hospitable. They seemed to really enjoy what they do.
We were out on a pretty foggy evening on the bay but we still got amazing views and great pictures. It was chilly but they have coats to borrow and there's an interior area with seating, as well as an area at the rear of the boat that's open but protected from wind by the cabin.
Also, and this is the most important thing, I had accidentally booked our tickets for the wrong date. They were super accommodating and got us out on the next available cruise with absolutely zero issues even though we straight up no showed our original ticket date, a customer service win.
Definitely book this trip. We've been out to the bay area a couple of times and I'm glad we decided to do this cruise.

The crew were a fun group of guys that were more than happy to take pictures and joke around. Gets chilly so dress warm. The wife and I took this one our anniversary and were able to get photos on the captains wheel with the golden gate in the background.

The views and the sunset was just outstanding.
The crew were fantastic too. There’s a small bar on board, they give out jackets if you get cold in the wind. Whole experience was totally worth it. We got some amazing pictures.

The check in process for my large group was a breeze. Dock J was easy to find, just walk toward the sea lions and it is clearly marked on your lefthand side. We used spothero to reserve a parking spot at the Pier 39 garage, a short walk to Dock J. The crew was super friendly and, as promised, gave us a smooth ride around Alcatraz, under the GG Bridge, and then back to see the sunset colors reflected off of the spectacular SF skyline. Weather cooperated and we were able to get our picture perfect sunset. I really did not know what to expect, but I was impressed from start to finish. Thank you!

Location was convenient to DT SF. Check-in was super easy and on-time, crew was more than accommodating and chill, Captain Hans was extremely skillful and friendly. You sail around Alcatraz Island and then head for the Golden Gate Bridge. I highly recommend the sunset cruise.

Did not make it to the dock on time. Had a delay unboarding my flight, and got there at 6:34, departure was 6:30. I called on the way to ask if they could wait for me. They said No, and were not nice about it. I understand that certain agencies like to follow strict schedules, but the being late on this day was not my fault and out of my control. I asked to be refunded since it was $90 and I did not even board the boat. The charter company as well as viator are both refusing to give me a refund. Would not recommend. Terrible customer service. Unexpected things come up all the time and they should be accommodating to this.

They weren’t in September.
I bought tickets for my bf bday. However he sometimes can get sea sick. Do you think this cruise will cause him to get sea sick or do you think it will be ok? It looks fun and really want to keep the tickets so I hoping it will be ok.
