Take your Maui visit to the next level by taking a heart-pounding plunge during this 7.5-hour zipline and rappelling adventure. Thrill seekers and those looking to push their limits will love this extreme-themed excursion featuring a series of steep rappelling routes.
Arrive at the Central Maui park and ride in the morning to connect with your tour group. You’ll wind your way along the scenic Hana Highway heading to the start of your zipline and rappelling course. Before getting started, get fitted with top-quality footwear, harnesses, backpacks, floatation jackets and a helmet.
After a short hike to the site of your first 50-foot (15-meter) waterfall rappel, you’ll get a safety briefing and demonstration from your experienced guides, allowing you to practice your technique and get comfortable. Once you’re ready, steady yourself and begin your first thrilling guided rappel down this beautiful waterfall site, finishing with a “zip” through 80 feet (24 meters) of free space above the canyon and over a freshwater pool, finishing with a dramatic plunge into the refreshing swimming spot below.
Still exhilarated from your first descent, rappel along another waterfall before trying out a short rock climb along the 35-foot (10 meter) face of the cliff just alongside. Cap off your trip with one final 110-foot (33-meter) dry rappel along the “Savage Ridge,” finishing with a one-mile hike back back up through a cool, shady forest to your starting spot.
Please note: If long periods of heavy rains or severe weather cause high or swift water or raging falls, we may modify the itinerary and use rappel stations that are a safe distance from the water course.
