That's because our service begins right after you book. Our rates includes assistance with finding lodging, discounts with area businesses, help in determining what to pack, developing a customized route, trail maps and detailed directions and of course, the equipment itself
- Runamuk offers one and two person snowmobiles; 2 & 4 person UTVs, and 11 to 17 person boats.
- All our equipment is new or late model with state of the art engines, suspension, and features.
- We have numerous rental programs for snowmobiles ranging from 2 hrs to 7 days.
- Machines can generally be taken out any time after 10am, 7 days per week. We close at 5pm.
- For those who request delivery service be sure and put down the local address where you want the equipment delivered on the booking form.
- Delivery Service Available but we sit alongside three major off-road trails. Park and ride. All our watercraft rentals include a trailer so you can pickup and deliver yourself.
- Navigating the northern Wisconsin trail system is well marked and area trail maps are very useful. Runamuk staff will help you become familiar with the maps and will go-over a customized route with you.
- Cancellation policy: cancel 15 days or more within the start of your rental and receive a full refund less a $75 per reservation cancellation fee. Cancel within 14 days of the start date and receive a 50% refund.
- We are open 7 days per week from 10am to 5pm (rentals are from 10am-5pm). All equipment is tendered to our guests fully fueled and must be returned that way. We sell gasoline on sight or you can chose our prepaid fuel option. ring in . We do not offer any insurance of any kind and assume full liability so check with your insurance agent if you want to look into coverage.

- Runamuk requires all operators to be at least 16, have a valid driver’s and equipment operators' license and, if a minor, accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us.
- Read and carefully consider our terms and conditions of service and use BEFORE booking. We're relying on you to do this. These are located under the legal menu of our website. (Written copies available upon request). Another copy will be present at the time you book, when you receive your booking confirmation and receipt via email and when you arrive at Runamuk. Snowmobiling is a fun but an unpredictable sport. Since you and your group are fully liable and we offer no insurance coverage whatsoever make sure you are prepared to assume any risks.

- Runamuk offers 4 hour, daily (10am-5pm) and up to 7 day watercraft rentals.
- Our watercraft fleet consists of three classes on pontoon boats: Cruisers, Performance and Specialty.
- Our fishing boats are 16.5' single console style with trolling motor and all the options you'd expect. All come equipped with fish finders, livewells, bimini tops (pontoons only), fast and efficient electric start, 4 stroke engines. Just turn the key and go.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Runamuk Rides (Jim/Joan) is the best place to rent for your Northern Wisconsin outdoor powersports. We have been renting from Runamuk's for over 5 years and they are the most accommodating people! Even with break downs, they are Jonny on the spot. Snowmobiles are always newer and in great condition. It's never about the destination, but always about the journey. We just had a great day out on a couple of sleds with my family. The trails were in great shape, every where we stopped the local restaurants were really helpful with trail information etc. The equipment we rented was like new, the heated seats and handle bars are much appreciated. I think next time we will try a guided tour so we don't miss anything.

The rental process was super easy. Staff was very friendly. We rented two snowmobiles and our friends rented two as well. The machines were like new, super fast, and had heated grips. They also supplied full face helmets for all of us. The trails were amazing. Highly recommend renting from Runamukrides!

What a blast! Exceptional service from start to finish, even being familiar with the area, the expertise that was shared prior to going out made the entire trip more comfortable...not to mention the beautiful new sleds. We already can’t wait to get back and regret not renting for multiple days!

Jim and Joan at Runamuk Rides were fabulous to work with!! Jim gave us great snowmobile instructions, a fun destination for us to travel to (Garmisch Resort was soo fun!). Joan handled the paperwork and getting us our helmets and even had a little ibuprofen to share with us. :) We also inqiured about our deposit and how quickly it could be turned around and they happily did so within 24 hours of returning the sleds back. Oh btw the sleds.. 2021 and were super fun to ride!! We are going to make it a tradition so we'll be seeing you again in 2022!! Oh and Jim was kind to take our picture before setting off on the beautiful trails. I would share a picture but for some reason the tool is not letting me. But a blast for sure and great people to work with!!

I rented a 2-up sled from Runamuck and the experience was great! The whole process was very simple and straightforward - checking in and picking up the sled took less than 10 minutes. My trip was just for the day, so I left my car in their parking lot and took off on the trails right from there. The sled was in great condition and ran perfectly all day. The whole experience was awesome!

I had never snowmobiled before..it was AWESOME and I can't wait to go back. The equipment Runamuk provided was top notch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did a guided snowmobile tour and that was so worth it. For liability reasons they cannot provide instruction, but their orientation of the machine was enough for a first timer to be comfortable and feel safe. The guided tour eliminated any worry about getting lost or navigating a busy trail. The ride was thrilling and hanging with the guide was very fun.

Snowmobile was beautiful and in excellent shape. Ready and waiting for us. Only delay was filling out forms which are online and do take some time, but this can be done ahead of time. Trails in great shape, but remember to take a picture of them as it is easy to get lost in the large number of them. We grabbed the wrong map and ended up having to turn around because we missed our loop turn. Cost was reasonable, but if go off trail and wreck sled, it will cost you!

Thanks for the feedback. You make a good point: We’re thinking of trying to attach maps as PDFs to our reservation confirmation emails. There are a lot of trails in the counties that surround us but unfortunately no single map. We’re working on it. Unfortunately: as we use brand new snowmobiles they are expensive to replace; but fun to drive.

Did a 3 day snowmobile rental in January for our family of 4. Rented 2 snowmobiles, kids (11 & 14) on the back while mom and dad drove. Joan got us booked and made route recommendations. We did the first day guided; and David was a fantastic guide! The next two days were an adventure since it was between -20°F and 5°F. Jim says "it's all part of the experience". We were new to the area; there's many miles of trails, most of which were marked well and in good condition. I imagine the sheer number of trails poses quite the job for all the volunteers; kudos to all!

You were an intrepid group and did get better of winter. We were amazed how your family carried on and had great fun. You are right: big thanks to our trail groomers and other volunteers that make the Hayward trail system among the best.
