Marco’s knowledge of the geology and history of Madeira Island made the spectacular walk even more interesting and enjoyable. He was easy to be with and a great tour guide. Such a dramatic part of the island.

A fantastic experience and a great way to get down the steep roads of Madeira. It barely lasts 10 mins, but it's a must if you're going to this island. It's like you're in a 'Flintsone Rally Car' as your guides take you sideways around corners and pilot you through these tight streets. I would avoid doing this if the cruise ships are in as the queues for this and the cable car rides are ridiculous.

If you visit the CR7 museum it is great it essentially exists as Ronaldo’s trophy cabinet. Our guide, Marco was excellent and drove us to key locations around Funchal which really brought to life with a passion the early life and background of the person Ronaldo and his route to footballing excellence and international recognition. Marco was very engaging and in an intimate tour made this the best experience of our stay(it was just him and the four of us). The museum then felt much more than a trophy cabinet and you could truely feel the weight of his achievements. I recommend this experience to anybody, you will not be disappointed!

My son is the self-proclaimed biggest Ronaldo fan in the world and we couldn't come to Madeira without doing this tour. Marco was great, stopping to showi and explain to us all the important areas if the island in Ronaldo's life. My son loved having the chance to kick a ball around the field where his hero played back in the day. It was the best part of my son's trip to Madeira and for that I'm a happy mom!!

It is posted as half day, buy be prepared for longer. We were collected from our hotel at 09.00, by our driver, the lovely Ruben. We collected our fellow imbibers and set off for the vineyard at the North of the island. A lovely guide (Sheena?) greeted us & we walked though the terraced vines, stopping for information en route. Then, back to the lovely hall for the all-important tasting. We were presented with 6 wines: 3 whites, 1 rose & 2 reds. All good, then we were left to chat and finish the bottles! On the way back, we stopped at a viewing platform, then a fishing village. Getting dropped at our hotel at 14.45. An excellent trip and brilliant value.

Definitely *not* recommended. Booked 3 days in advance. Company didnt acknowledge booking in any way and provided no way to contact them to check if the trip was going ahead. Avoid.

We were picked up with Duarte. He was super sociable and very knowledgeable of the area. He was right on time for our arrival.

This company was so accommodating I chose the Portuguese tour (I'm english) as I was short on time and didn't want to miss out on this expierence Duarte was amazing he had so many tricks and suprises up his sleeve from a signed football to getting us a photo with Ronaldo cousin. It was perfect from start to finish we wasn't bothered by the not speaking Portuguese but Duarte went over and above we used Google translate through out the Tour we played football at CFA and visited Ronaldo home that has been demolished where he grew up. I would 100% recommend going on this tour it was actually the highlight of my very short trip. Thanks from all of us Duarte you are the best.

To be honest I’m not sure if the activity I picked for this review is actually the one we did but it really doesn’t matter - it was a magical and thoroughly enjoyable experience regardless. Our superb guide picked us up at the hotel and we enjoyed learning all about this history of the island and the laverda whilst we drove into the mountains. The walk itself was lovely (cool and flat!) and the scenery just breathtaking . If I were not travelling home soon I would spend many more hours hiking with this company. There are lots of options for laverda walks on Tripadvisor but this one very much deserves its high rating and I cannot recommend it more strongly.

We booked two tours with the company. Ponta de Sao Lourenco on August 31st and Levada 25 Fontes on September 1st 2023. The first tour was really great. The guide was pontual, had a lot of information, suggested a nice boat ride at the end of the tour, it was a nice day. The 25 Fontes tour was scheduled for 8 am. At 7:45 the same guide sent us a message saying that he had car problems and the tour was canceled. No apologies, no assistance, nothing. I understand that accidents happen, but he could have suggested another company to us, other colleague of him could have helped us to find other option for the day, but nothing was done. The impression was that we did not matter at all. When you are on an Island, that is not cheap or easy to get to, that you have no idea if or when you are ever going back to, losing a day like this is frustrating. Luckily, the hotel staff (who were also shocked at what happened and how the company dealt with the problem) helped us finding other options and we ended up having an amazing day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend their services, specially now considering that I just saw another review on google saying that they did the same thing (cancelling on short notice and giving no assistance at all).

Nice experience! I recommend for everyone. Attentive, kind and knowledgeable tour guide. The nature and the levada route is amazing.

Me and my girlfriend had the most incredible experience on our hike through Levada De Alecrim and Lago Do Vento with Eduardo and Duarte! They both provided us with amazing information about the different areas we travelled through whilst also sharing their own personal experiences and knowledge about Madeira. We felt like they had our best interest at heart and we’re always trying to make sure we were having a good time; nothing ever felt rushed or inconvenient for them. Eduardo and Duarte were some of the most polite and interesting people we’d ever met. I could recommend this any more!

Our driver Duarte and tour guide Eduardo were exceptional. Eduardo spoke English extremely well, was very easy to talk too, and was incredibly knowledgable for just 16! Duarte did not speak English, which was not an issue at all since Eduardo translated perfectly and Duarte was so so lovely. The pair of them went above and beyond, providing interesting facts about the area during our drive. They also stopped at areas of particular interest to them, to allow us to get out of the car and look at what they were explaining. Duarte was a fantastic driver and we felt in very safe hands. We were so happy with our experience with these two that we booked with them for a Levada walk a couple of days later! Cannot recommend them enough, the tours with them were one of the main highlights of our holiday.

A MUST! Absolutely incredible tour. If you are or you have a Ronaldo fan in your life, bring them to this tour!!! This was an unforgettable experience, truly amazing. The whole day driving around Madeira and listening to not only the history of Ronaldo but also a bit about Madeira as well. I don't want to spoil the tour - Just take it!! You won't regret it ❤️ thank you for an unforgettable day!
