Alberobello, Unesco heritage Site since 1996, is the city of trulli. Through our walk we will learn about the origins, history and curiosities of these fairy-tale local stone buildings with a conical roof. From the Rione Aia Piccola , with its still inhabited trulli, we will see and finally visit the trulli of the Rione Monti. Here we will meet a artisan who models the local stone and builds original miniature trulli. Finally we will end our tour with a tasting of typical products in a local company.

Missing Guide

Could not find the guide despite being at the pick up location 10 mins before start time and remaining 15 mins after departure time. Problem was exacerbated by a not having a mobile signal at this time plus it being Liberation Day public holiday and there were loads of people about. However never had problems before finding a guide. Now waiting to see if I can get a refund. Despite not having a guide it did not detract too much from a great visit to Alberobello.
