Overview
Wear your walking shoes and bring your appetite for this 2.5-hour food tour of Naples. Enjoy an exciting walking and dining experience in this, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities. Head to typical dining and tasting locations and little treasures that you wouldn’t find on your own. You’ll eat and sight-see as you leisurely make your way around this lovely old city.
Highlights
  • Arrive with an appetite and savor enough Naples’ food for a full meal
  • Hear the stories of Naples and its beloved cuisine from a local guide
  • Enjoy authentic Neapolitan snacks that you might not otherwise try
  • Avoid tourist-trap eateries with recommendations from your guide
What to Expect
From Piazza Dante, eat your way around the streets of central Naples with a guide, calling in at locally loved Neapolitan cafes and restaurants and admiring quirky churches and sights along the way.
Taste fried risotto balls, called arancini, and the street food favorite, frittata di pasta. Then, admire the architecture along Naples’ historic main street: the Spaccanapoli.
Stroll through Piazza del Gesu, learning about sights, such as the Santa Chiara Church, Piazza Bellini, and the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella. Make your way past the artisan workshops of the San Gregorio Armeno enclave, where nativity scenes are famously made, and then continue to savor more treats, including mozzarella, taralli (savory cookies from Southern Italy), and pizza, of course.
With your appetite sated by true Neapolitan food, finish back at Piazza Dante.

This was one of the best food tours I have been on. Alex was fantastic, he even helped us get a taxi at the end. Could not have asked for a better tour guide. We were a little nervous beforehand as Naples isn’t very “touristy”...More

There is no better way to see and experience Napoli than by eating our way through it! Our guide, Mario, was amazing and made sure there was a vegetarian option at each stop. My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and we’d highly recommend...More

It was all a bit lame. Trying to be both sightseeing and food means don’t focus enough on either. Choose one or the other
