- Dreamer449999951090 contributionsSo much more than just a drive-by, it's truly an experienceSandrea is a great tour guide! Even though she has given this tour many times (even multiple times a day) it is obvious she has not lost her enthusiasm for sharing knowledge about her land, her people, or herself. She ensured our family member who enjoys spinning and weaving was able to talk with a resident who is known for her spinning and weaving which added an additional personal element to appreciate. Thank you for your insightful viewpoints into your marvelous world.Written September 7, 2024

- Michael_Tours0 contributions"Spectacular" is the only way to describe itWhat an amazing experience! I've always wanted to photograph the night sky in Monument Valley, and thanks to Monument Valley Tribal Tours, it finally happened. Comie, our guide was delightful. She's a skilled photographer who's as friendly as she is knowledgeable. I recommend the tour highly. Just buckle up for a bumpy ride (part of the fun) and open your eyes for a dark sky view of the universe. Thank you, Comie!Written September 7, 2024
- margod5360 contributionsWonderful experienceWe had a great experience! Our guide Larry was a great man who had so much interesting information. On this tour you see things you can’t see when riding your own vehicle. I would totally recommend this tour! We did the sunset tour which ended about 30minutes before the sun is down. This made the monuments shine in beautiful light and after the tour you can just sit and look at the sunset on your own next to the view hotel.Written September 7, 2024

We took at tour because we were told that the road would be closed on Christmas (it wasn't; many other cars were in fact on the road). The tour guide picked us up on time and was able to show us all of the best picture taking spots, but here was the missed opportunity: she was unable to give us any historical background to what we were seeing, or any perspective from the Navajo side. We were looking forward to hearing about the history of the land, culture of the people and interplay with the local and we were not given any. The monetary value of not having to use my rental car and getting to go on some backroads was not worth what we spent.

Our guide, Shandrea, was the perfect host for our sunrise tour. She knew the perfect location, angle and light for every shot and also helped my grandson with some great photo tips with his phone camera. At the Big Hogan, she serenaded us with a song in her Navajo language and then at the Anasazi ruins she played the native flute as we looked at the petroglyphs on the walls. She shared many stories about Navajo culture and traditions and gave us so much insight into the way of life for the people living in Monument Valley. I would tour with Shandrea again at the next opportunity

Marjory made our sunrise tour unforgettable! Starting an hour before sunrise, we explored fantastic spots, including exclusive ones only accessible with a guide. The bumpy roads were smoother with Marjory leading the way, and we're thrilled we went for the tour instead of driving ourselves. Marjory's friendliness and cultural knowledge added an extra layer of richness to the experience. Plus, her rendition of traditional Native American songs during the sunrise was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend to everyone!

I‘m still amazed by this incredible experience!!! My husband and I joined the sunrise tour. The meeting point was easy to find and our guide picked us up punctually. It was an international group so we could get in touch with others quickly. The guide introduced us to some hidden spots in Monument Valley. At that time in the morning, there was hardly anyone out there what made that trip unique. What is more, the Navajo guide told us a lot about their way of life, habits and their stunning culture. Musical parts were also integrated in the tour by authentic flute playing and vocals.
The view of Monument Valley was pretty amazing due to the rising sun. Luckily, we saw some shooting stars since the beginning of the tour was when it was still dark. AWESOME TOUR!!!

This was such a amazing experience. Marjory was such a wonderful tour host. She had all the local knowledge and knew exactly where to get the best photos in the valley. Marjory brought us to the most magical place for the sunrise and even performed a little drum ceremony for us as the sun came up behind the monuments. It was just divine. Can't recommend enough. hot tip, make sure you rug up for the first part of the tour as it is very chilly before the sun comes out.

Our sunrise tour included many stops to take unusual photographs, in locations that the public does not have access to. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We highly recommend Margery’s tours🥂

Our guide Sandrea provided an early morning tour of Monument Valley that we will never forget! She provided Navaho history and unique back country private access to see the sunrise. She even serenaded us with a Native American song during the sunrise!

An absolutely brilliant tour of monument valley, watching the sun rise over the rocks and seeing how they change colour was breathtaking. Our guide Frank was fantastic taking us to all the main sights and more. As the sun was coming up he played his flute, it was absolutely magical. We had a brilliant time. Would totally recommend this tour 100%.

Frank was our sunrise morning tour guide. He was great! Made lots of stops to explain each stop. Told us lots of history about the Navajo natives. Really enjoyed hearing his stories and knowledge. The sunrise was beautiful and he let us take our time at each stop, even taking some pictures for us along the way. I truly enjoyed him playing his flute it was very beautiful and really tied into the rest of the tour. Thanks!

Tribal Tours called the afternoon before our tour to confirm timings and pick up arrangements.
We had a great experience with Jameson. He collected us right on time from the KOA Campsite. There was some cloud cover initially, and he checked to ensure that we were likely to get a clear sunrise - he would have offered a later tour or a refund if not; a nice touch we thought.
The landscape was spectacular and we lucked out with a great sunrise. What was also nice is that Jameson took the time to explain Navajo culture and customs, as well as what life is like locally.
The whole tour exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

Our's was a t 5:30 AM because we requested a "photography tour" which features the sunrise. There are others starting later, particularly as fall sets in. It was the highlight of our 10-day trip.
