Great experience at Monument Valley!
Sep 2021
If you could do only one thing, ( for us time restraint ) this is it. We feel our tour was so thorough we leave Monument Valley very satisfied we seen the best of everything with guide, and the family that hosted dinner and Performed were like visiting friend’s. Things are rough right now because of COVID and we were thee only ones there and instead of canceling they treated us the same as if there were many people . We felt like we made new friends and Cody who guided us through the valley was great. Monument Valley is something you can’t miss and this tour is the best way to do it.

Our guide Jamie was amazing! Great upbeat personality, knowledgeable and entertaining. His flute playing was an emotional experience especially in the stunning area (Sun’s Eye) he first chose to play for us! Our dinner was good too! It was a grand evening!

Amazing evening tour of monument valley with Navajo/Dineh cultural show and dinner!
This tour was wonderful! Cody was an excellent guide and has a wealth of information about the monuments, area and Navajo/Dineh culture. We were able to take some amazing photos, the food was delicious and the cultural demonstration with the dancing and singing at the end of the night was excellent. Don’t think twice about booking this tour!

Monument valley is such a wonderful place. You can drive the valley loop yourself but our guide Cody was able to share his Dine perspective...especially through his traditional dance. Would recommend the tour and dinner.

Thank you for visiting Monument Valley with us. We are glad you were able to experience the tour with Cody. Yes, you can drive the loop, but going with a guide takes you places you can only go with a Native. As well as being able to learn about the lands from the people whose land it is. We hope to see you again sometime.

Dreamcatcher Evening Tour
Sep 2019
Overall, the Tour was Great. Our Tour Guide, Stanley, is a Navajo man who loved to share his culture with all of us. It was a bit difficult to hear Stanley pointing out things to see while driving through Monument Valley, as the speakers in the back of the tour truck were a bit "rattling" or "muffled."
Our Navajo dinner in the Canyons was delicious and prepared quite quickly. It might be nice to provide lanterns at each table as we ate our meals.....as it got quite dark and it was difficult to see our plates while eating at night,.
The traditional Navajo dancers and drummer were very good and interesting to watch. Thank you for allowing us to photograph this evening's entertainment.

Thank you for the info on the speaker system. We will look into that. We hope to be able to serve you again on a future visit to Monument Valley.

Best Tour of Our Trip
Jun 2019 • Family
Of the four tours we did in the surrounding area of the Grand Canyon on our seven day trip, the Dreamcatcher Evening Experience was our #1 pick. Being in the open air vehicle was so refreshing and the scenery was like nothing I'd ever seen before. Cody, our driver and guide, did a great job in telling us about the history of the area and about his culture, showed us how mesa's and butte's were formed (wish I had recorded it), sang a couple songs to us and told of how the stars came to be in the sky. About 2 1/2 hrs into the tour we stopped at what I will call a desert garden with a huge mesa as a backdrop. So peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed Navajo tacos which is a fried flatbread (yummy) with your pick of toppings - tomato, lettuce, onion, cheese and steak. After dinner we all gathered around a campfire where we were entertained with native song, dance (which they pulled most people up to participate- that always makes it fun) and storytelling. All around great evening! I hated to see it end. Highly recommend this tour.

Dreamcatcher Experience
Jun 2019 • Solo
I was recently in Monument Valley and took 4 tours split between 2 companies. I first must say that all the trips were worth the experience. On this trip we rode in an open truck and would stop with the guide explaining the locations and culture of the Navajo. Our guide was John and he did an excellent job. The weather was unseasonably mild which made this tour all the better. I went for photography and had enough time at each stop to take photos. I enjoyed the native dancing at sunset and appreciated the dancer's regalia, but the blue jeans underneath all the regalia did diminish the photos slightly. We were served a "Navajo Taco" and if you have had an "Apache Taco" in New Mexico then you have had a "Navajo Taco" it was decent but not anything to write home about or photograph. I had been told that dinner would be a steak and a Navajo Taco, and was expecting 2 items. Instead it was a large piece of fried bread with taco fixings and a piece of skirt steak. Filling, but not a unique cultural experience. I personally felt that the rest of the trip, and especially the guide John, made up for any shortcomings with the meal.
