To the Moon House near Blanding, UT. Josh Nielson took us to the Moon House after a failed attempt on our own a couple of years earlier. In 2022 we attempted to walk down the canyon on our own but could not get passed the steep descent. In the Fall of 2023 we contacted Josh (owner of Sunrise Outfitting), and asked to organize the visit for us. Josh did a wonderful job, from getting the permits to planning how to overcome every obstacle, to get us in the morning, drive on Snow Flat Road, all the way to the trail head. We were extremely pleased with his help. He knew the location like the back of his hand. They don't make it easy to visit the ruins, as the Moon House is not even listed in regular maps. Overall a wonderful experience with Josh. Thank you.

Took our staff out for a ride in the county. Josh is professional and knowledgeable. Less experienced drivers were given the confidence to navigate the routes with Josh’s guidance. The views were amazing and Josh took us on the perfect route. He tailored it specifically for my group to see the fall colors and we were all blown away. My staff all loved the experience and it was a great day. Highly recommend for groups large and small!

Being a 5 generation resident of this area makes Josh the perfect fit for an outdoor adventure in this part of Utah. He was extremely knowledgable and fun to be around. I would definitely recommend using him if you are wanting to get out and about in this areq. All his equipment is clean an in order. Could not ask for a better time out traveling the off roads of the Blanding area.

Josh is great. After our RZR broke down 1/4 from the parking lot, he actually chauffeured us around all weekend in his rig. Very low key, local guide with life-long knowedge of the area. The tours actually hit a wide variety of historical sites from Anasazi to pioneer times to mining and industrial revolution. You could spend a lot of time in this area, but it's off the beaten path a bit so it's not overrun by traffic. Hurry and take the chance to do the tours before everything in that part of the country is restricted for vehicles.
