About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Extraordinary7951260 contributionsDon't miss Lindau if you are in the regionI stood in Bregenz to attend a festival and visited Lindau which I liked a lot. Lindau is a must if you are in the region. Even when it is a small place, you can enjoy it and find different things to do. Around the lake you could visit more places, Unfortunately I ran out of time to do itWritten July 7, 2023
- Au08670 contributionsBrilliant Day enjoying exercise and scenery! We really enjoyed our day. Set out on the boat from Lindau with a few stops before arriving in Switzerland across Lake Bodensee. Our guide was prompt and very friendly, The ride was mainly flat but I would definitely not take kids younger then 10/12 years as it was 42 Km long (8 hours).Written September 1, 2020
- makikot111870 contributions充実したツアーWe (one parent and two children) were able to efficiently explore the wonderful tourist attractions of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The explanation in English by the driver and guide was very fulfilling, we were able to make wonderful memories. We will definitely come back again!! Written August 2, 2020
- RaphieH0 contributionsLovely, we would book it again!Lovely tour with a very competent and friendly guide. We learned and enjoyed it a lot! We were picked up in the restaurant where we had dinner before.Written July 3, 2020
- John S0 contributionsVisit to MeersburgAn attractive town , beautifully situated on Lake Konstanz- easily reached by ferry from Konstanz. Beautiful buildings, an old castle, a Baroque Palace etc there were many tourists there , but this did not spoil my enjoymentWritten December 30, 2019
- jmh11500 contributionsColourful and variedWe got the bus from Konstanz (13/4) to the island and paid at the gate where we were also welcomed and given a guide/map. Paths were good, everywhere was well maintained and there was great variety. The dahlia display was spectacular, the little vineyard area informative with signs and the views from the island good. There were a variety of refreshment points for good choice. The butterfly house was good and had plenty to photograph. We did not see everything, but enjoyed all we did. Recommended as good value for money too.Written October 15, 2019

From Schaffhausen to Stein am Rhein, the cruise lasts 2h05 and in the other direction (descent) 1h15, depending on the strength of the current. The upstream part is quite wild and there are colonies of swans and several species of ducks. The boat tacks between the stakes topped with green and white panels which delimit the navigable section. The highlight of the route is the passage under the Diessenhofen Laagbrücke where the roof of the boat must be lowered almost to the height of the passengers' heads. Guaranteed sensation.
