We recently took a 3D2N tour to Ijen and Bromo with Java Adventure Trail and it was an unforgettable experience. Booking prior to the trip was done effortlessly via WhatsApp and Sofyan answered all our questions promptly, giving up tips on the weather and what to prepare before the trip. Our guide, Ari and driver, Cahya were absolutely amazing during the trip. It was very well organised and executed perfectly! Cahya’s safe driving enabled us to sleep comfortable and soundly in the car from all the early morning calls. Ari’s knowledge and wit helped us to endure the challenging portions of the hike. We highly recommend getting Ari as your guide to have a spectacular experience!

This tour was amazing! We chose the upgraded package instead of the basic for slightly more money but it was so worth it. All of the hotels we stayed in were way above expectations, and we especially loved the one at Bromo. Our guide Dino was amazing and so was our driver. They were very informative and accommodating. Dino knows so much about each place and is always happy to share. The car was super comfy and I didn’t even notice how many hours we were driving most of the time. The only disappointing part was not seeing Mount Bromo on the final day as it was too cloudy, but this couldn’t be helped - nature is unpredictable! Everything else was perfect and I’d definitely do the tour again.

We had the most amazing time on this trip! It was a brilliant way to see east Java. Everything was so well organized and it was great not having to think about transport! It was seamless! From Mount Bromo to Kalibaru and Sukamade everything was beautiful. We are massive nature enthusiasts and loved seeing this part of the world. A major highlight was the drive to the secluded beach to release baby turtles. The whole thing felt like an adventure and it was great to get off the beaten track! Massive thank you to Nano and Bams. Nano was an excellent tour guide and photographer! We had a brilliant time exploring this part of the world with him and really appreciated all the information on each area. They were both also really helpful to advice on nice places for food and coffee and some extra activities. Accomodation was also top notch! Thanks again for the wonderful memories! Highly recommend! An eye opener...so unlike bali where materialism rules. People here in the smaller towns are genuinely friendly and passionate, exuding charm and hospitality , and not because they want to separate you from yr money. Our guide was ARI, fluent in English, pleasant in manner and helpful beyond the call of duty. From IJEN to bromo, he was solicitous throughout whilst never intrusive, a knowledgeable guide par excellence..Were we lucky or what ! The highlights : Spectacular sights not beheld anywhere else but iceland,thrills galore not unlike Queenstown in new Zealand... All for a small fraction of the costs...what is there to regret Dr yik

This was our first trip to Indonesia and it was amazing! Big thanks to our guide Faruq for the arrangement. Faruq was nice and professional. The home stays were decent. Apart from visiting tempur sewu and volcanos which were stunning, we also knew more about Indonesian cultures. Look forward to our next adventure in Indonesia.

At 62, we have traveled quite a bit, and this was truly unforgettable. This acid lake, with its mesmerizing blue fire phenomenon, is one of a kind and absolutely exceptional. To witness it, you need to wake up at 1 AM and reach the base camp. From there, you’ll hike up to the rim and then descend into the crater—all while it is still dark. The blue fire is only visible in the dark, and what a sight it is! At dawn, you get to see the acid lake in the morning light, and trust me—the pictures on the web are not misleading. It is absolutely spectacular. We were fortunate to have a very competent guide, who was a miner himself before becoming a guide. A very big thank you to INDOTRAVELTEAM for making this incredible experience possible! Some Notes: You need to be fit and in good shape for this hike. There is a “Lamborghini” service for $30, which can transport you up to the rim and back down to base camp—but not into the crater. If you want to see the blue fire, you must descend into the crater down to the lake. A gas mask is required, as oxygen levels are significantly lower inside the crater. Bring plenty of water with you. We were slightly overdressed—it wasn’t cold at all (though we were lucky with the weather). Good hiking shoes (acid-proof and with proper grip) are highly recommended. An absolutely unforgettable adventure!

About our wonderful trip around Java Island: we saw the beautiful unusual nature of this island, spent time comfortably on the road and in good hotels. The three-day trip was eventful and interesting, of course such an adventure is unforgettable. Special thanks to our guide Nano: he was always happy to answer our questions and tell us about all the sights, he made our trip very comfortable! We are looking forward to another trip!

We had the best tour we could have wished for. Great guide and driver who took us to great spots, gave information about the region and everything we ever asked. Additionally recommended great spots for local food.

The 6 day tour from Yogyakarta to Bali was well put together and the guides were really helpful and caring. It does take some physical strength and fitness to do the hikes but so worth the work.

We were very happy with the trip! The entire process was seamless, and we could simply sit back and enjoy. All our wishes were fulfilled, and our guide was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with Mount Bromo, as capturing the iconic view isn't guaranteed during the rainy season. However, our guide kept our spirits high and made the experience enjoyable despite the weather. I highly recommend booking with this company – they made everything so easy and memorable!
