Our flights were delayed twice and our airport pickup was canceled and we took taxis to our hotel. On our return I confirmed our 5 am pickup from the hotel and recieved a confirmation the night before and the morning of. I was in the lobby at 4:45 am and waited until 5:15 and the driver had not arrived. The front desk called and the drivers phone was shut off. I called the emergency number and they said the drivers phone was also shut off and it was too late to get another driver and that I should try and get a taxi. I asked about a refund and they said I would have to work with Expedia. I have been working with both Expedia and Talixo and have had no luck-So I am out the $147 for initial booking and the $160 euors it cost for the taxis. It was also very uncomfortable for 4 women to be in a foreign country expecting a transfer and then having to make our own way. The transfer was 30 minutes late, with nothing but lies given as their excuse. First I was told he was on his way, then I was told he arrived and I was not there, so he left! I had waited outside and no car arrived. Eventually when he DID get here, he not only gave a dishonest excuse 'we were stopped by the police' , but he was accompanied by another man who was not a passenger and I can only assume to be his friend. Incredibly unprofessional and we could have missed our flight home to this 'company's' incompetence. Avoid at all costs.Written September 1, 2022

This is a 50/50 experience. The pickup went smoothly at the airport and the driver was nice and friendly. Comfortable chatting with him on the way to our hotel.
The pickup did not happen. I confirmed reservation with 2 of the people the day before and thought all was good but after 15 minutes of waiting I called, and driver said that the address was not confirmed and would not be coming since "he" was with another person". I had the pickup location on the original reservation, and it never changed. When I confirmed the day before it was still the same adress so I do not know what the issue was. Luckily, I gave us extra time but we had to hail a taxi to get us to the airport on time.

Our driver (Papalexandris) was wonderful and we really appreciated it. Our flight landed over 40 minutes late. Our driver kept in contact with me, checked our flight time, and waited for us. He gave us many great recommendations for Athens on the drive over to our hotel and was so friendly. If all drivers are like him, we would definitely use this company again next time we fly into Athens!

Our flight was around 50 minutes late, however our driver Theador was waiting for us at the required spot, helped us with our luggage and whisked us into Athens in no time, dropping us right outside our hotel. A really nice young man with a decent command of English.

Talixo is a large taxi-service company that provides professional drivers in major cities in advance for customers. We found the drivers in Athens efficient and honest and would be comfortable booking through talixo again.

Do not use this company, I will share why.
I am a travel agent who booked through Expedia itinerary 7522605328919. I hosted a trip to Greece with two doctors whom were looking for the entire Athens experience. I booked a roundtrip airpost/hotel drop off and pick up. The morning before we were supposed to depart I followed the itinerary instructions and sent email to Talixo confirming that my pickup time is 3:00 a.m. I followed exact instructions. The driver arrived at 12:00 a.m. and stayed until 12:15 a.m. (he was the same driver who picked us up from the airport). The driver did not call us, did not request that the concierge (5 star hotel) contact us, he simply waited and then left after 15 minutes. I was notified by an email message that my driver had cancelled the trip because we did not show up for our ride. There was a link in the email to contact the driver. I immediately contacted the driver and advised that he had come 3 hours too early and he simply responded that I would need to contact Expedia. I attempted to call Expedia however the wait time was well over 2 hours. While holding I wrote the company directly to inform them that a mistake had been made, the driver came at a time not listed on the reservation and that we would need to be picked up. The company shared the same sentiments as the driver, call Expedia there is nothing they could do even though they had plenty of time to correct the situation. I sent emails with proof of pickup times and everything and in the end they declined to pick us up and deliver us to the airport, We found ourselves at the last minute cramming all of our luggage in a small taxi that smelled like cigerette smoked...this did not impress my clients at all. We approced concierge about this issue and they advised that it is common and that the drivers typically will only make 2 pickups at noon or midnight. I rarely give a bad review but this company derved it because I provided them with an opputunity to do the right thing and they refused. We barely made our flight, would have been in a bad place if we didnt have 60 euros to pay another taxi, plus we'd tipped the driver really well when we arrived and that did not provide an incentive for him to come back and get us.

We booked a taxi to the airport in Athens through Booking.com.
There was a confirmation that the car and driver would arrive at the requested time.
Then nothing happened.
No car, no driver, no hotline, no one was available.
We hope to get our money back through Booking.com.
