- Mobile4211330 contributionsGreat experience of Houston!Great tour and information about Houston! Learned a bunch! Pretty clean city! Staff friendly and helpful! Parking is right next to place for $8 for the day!! Definetly the way to introduce yourself to Houston!Written October 12, 2024
- 778marylouw0 contributionsSo worth it!!Very informative , we learned so much about Houston and the history of the state of Texas. Everyone was extremly nice especially the female bus driver that passed us walking a few times during other tours the next few days and always waved.Written October 10, 2024
- shank8850 contributionsWonderful little tour of Down Town Houston. It rained the first 10 mins of our tour, then the sun came out brightly. The rest of the tour was great. The guide was very informative and I learned alot about Houston. Everyone was nice.Written September 13, 2024
- Karen H0 contributionsGreat day tripThe company offices in downtown houston are excellent, and the check-in process was easy. We started out on the open top bus with Ben as our tour guide. Ben is friendly and professional and has a great knowledge of the city. It was very informative, and as it was a Sunday, there was no traffic to contend with. The tour is mainly buildings and murals and is a non-stop ride of just over an hour. We then transferred to a comfy minivan and drove an hour to Galveston Island. This is a lovely day trip with quant shopping on the strand and great restaurants on the pier. Ben prebooked a table at Katie's Seafood house so we didn't have to wait for anyone that wanted to go, but it was optional. Our group opted to eat here, and it's highly recommended. All in all a good day out.Written September 9, 2024

- davidfY2717XO0 contributionsRude and abusive ManagerThe website says we can reschedule for a different date. An employee did exactly that for me when I approached her about the situation of some members of my family won't be able to make it to the original date. When I go to use my pending tickets, there was an angry and rude manager that wouldn't let me. When the employee who posponed the date and provided service to me arrived, that Manager ran to talk to her. She said if I want to take the tout, I had to spend another over 100$ again. They are very abusives there . Manager is very rude and unprofessional. The judgement of the entire management is very poor. I wouldn't recommend this place to tourist.Written August 11, 2024

However we needed more time there & didn't get close to getting around all the wonderful shops & soak in the area. Next time I would Uber much earlier in the day & spend the whole day there.Written August 8, 2024

- 507fusunk0 contributionsTake this tour in early spring ot late fall but not in July-AugustWe had 11:30 AM tour, it was so warm and humid. This should not be a July activity. We saw nice places, our driver gave good amount of information about the town, history and life style. I did not like to stop three times in 1.5 hr tour. Every stop was under the sun, even after I pointed out the shades just few ft front of us, she did not consider to move the bus.Written July 29, 2024

- 486natm0 contributionsLong layover, excellent optionI really liked the tour. I had a long layover at Houston and this tour covered basically the city center. Everybody who works in this place were incredibly nice and opened to explain, help and listen to each visitor. I would definitely take it again if possible since they told me there are two different routes; the one I took was the graffiti one. The weather was very warm, we stopped 2 times for all of us take some fresh air and pictures.Written July 19, 2024

Tour guide was knowledgeable and effortlessly bilingual (English and Spanish / ingles y español. Bus was prompt and the waiting area for the tour was well air-conditioned, had its own cafeteria, and was decked out in Texas swag. I would recommend! Especially if you don't have a rental car, the Space Center is a pain to get to from center city, and the City Tour + Space Center tour is a great deal that handles all transportation for you.

Prior to the tour, all my questions were answered with a great amount of clarity. My tour was later unfortunately cancelled due to the Houston Astros parade that was happening on the same day in the city. I was immediately offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Although I was never able to receive the tour, this was a very positive experience

The trip to NASA was the best part of this tour. Many exhibits, rides and the the tram ride was very fun. Personally I was not a fan of the city tour portion. Between only being able to sit outdoors in the humid weather and not being able to get off for photos, this was poorly advertised and poorly planned. It should not be advertised as a “Hop on Hop Off” bus when the only option is to hop on. The city tour was about 75 minutes and only covered downtown

Dear guest the city tour portion is a optional and complimentary Houston downtown panoramic tour *( not a hop on - hop off tour ) because you needed to continue your scheduled tour to NASA Space center . And yes, part of the experience is the summer weather in Texas!
we look forward to serving you again.

This was an awesome experience!! Don’t miss it if you’re in Houston. The City tour was great, the tour guide was so informative and we learned so much about Houston. Fascinating!! Then we were taken to the NASA space center and what an amazing experience there!! So proud to be an American and see our country’s progress in space travel! Don’t miss the short movie about how it all started. The whole day was just fantastic!
We live in Fort Worth and were passing through Houston on our way to Florida and we’re so glad we took the time to spend a couple of days in Houston.

City tour & Space centre tour.
The tour costs about $100 which I think is expensive & not good value for money. (a similar city tour in London for 2 hours is $30 in comparison, here it is $40.)
The booking / checking in process was efficient and ran smoothly.
After the 75 min city tour, the transfer to minibus (and pick up later) was all well organised.
The city tour is a bit boring - lots of murals. There didn’t seem much worth seeing? I think you could walk to most of the sites visited ?
The staff seemed friendly enough.
My main issue was the cost. If you can organise getting to the space centre independently I would. Otherwise this trip is the only alternative.

My experience was really great, the city tour gave a good overview of the city if you hadn’t been there before but the NASA space Center was absolutely amazing. It was much better than I thought with lots to look at and very interactive. I would highly recommend this tour.

The off / on bus was great - lots of good information and history.
We were disappointed with the information given for the space center; three people from the tour company stressed that we should go directly to the information booth when we got to the space center to book our choice of tours. What they didn’t tell us is we had to pre-book (through a separate online sight) the working tour or that the Mission Control tour had to be booked first thing in the morning. When we got to the space center we weren’t able to do either tour. We could have booked the on/off bus and the space tour separately and had access to all tours for the same price we paid simply for the general admission ticket. I feel like they knew this but didn’t tell us when we booked so they could get the full price for the value of far less.

So much history. The visitors center has a tremendous amount of material, mostly to read. Take both of the tours. You need to sign up for the Mission Control tour, which is separate from the rocket tour which is included with the general admission.
Lots of walking. Brings back memories about sitting in front of the tv waiting for the lunar module to land.
Walk the Saturn V rocket to see how so many people collaborated to put men on the moon.
The movies are great and run many times throughout the day, especially the through an astronauts eyes.
Good food at the cafe, order at the kiosks and pick the food up at the different stations.
Try the corned beef sandwich, called the smuggler, patterned after an astronaut who smuggled one on board a launch.
Tour the 747 which transported the space shuttle. Again, lots of walking but SO worth it. I’m still in awe.

The city tour in the morning was interesting and informative, Guide gave us photo stops and information that was easily understood. Thank you
The visit to NASA was so much more than I expected. Great static displays and interesting talks in the Centre. I took the blue tour to the training centre and to see Saturn V - wow how big is that!!! Then I took the white tour to Mission Control Museum for Apollo 11 landing. Gave me goosebumps.
Awesome day and would highly recommend.

Houston is your typical big city trying to figure out its identity! The bus tour of downtown introduced me to the concept of underground working in an environment that offers all types of weather. The graffiti park and commissioned art in town was interesting. As our summer vacation included a 1/2 day tour of Dallas and 1/2 day tour of the events before and after the JFK assassination it was sentimental to see the last hotel in Houston that JFK would visit during his life.
The NASA Johnson Space Center was overwhelming! With a 4 hour timeline it was hard to see the exhibits, shows, AND the tram exhibits...definitely a full day is required to get the full experience!

Vi que en el Centro de la Nasa hay diferentes tipos de entredas, hay una que tiene costo de 70USD, se puede hacer este trip + la entrada de 70USD? O solo es la entrada general?

I'd say no. We were picked up at NASA at 4 then taken back to the ticket office where tour began & traffic is crazy in the area. Unless you can get a morning NASA tour or you go on your own.

I’m curious to hear from someone that’s been to NASA since the pandemic began. There’s hardly any reviews. I’m at a hotel across the street from NASA but the tour offered through TripAdvisor requires me to go back into Downtown Houston to be picked up. I’m attracted to the tour because it says “no lines, guaranteed”. Are there fewer visitors these days or are the lines worse due to Covid restrictions?
Does everyone get a timed ticket now?

How long would it take to see all of Johnson Space Center? (guestimation "swag" of course) Im bringing an 8 and 10 year old child so I will need to include lunch. Mainly Im just curious if its just a single day event or a two day event?
Written February 22, 2020
A full day is ample time to spend at the Space Center. The guided tours are about a 1/2 hour or so. There are 3 to chose from so you don't have to do them all. Most of the center is a go at your own pace. They do have a food court available.
Written March 11, 2020
If you are on the tour - how do they ensure you get to "skip the lines" at the Space Center without causing a fight! that seems to be a complaint among SC visitors, so if I book the full sightseeing tour, I want all the benefits included since we'd have limited time at the Space Center.
