    Great Little Aquarium Visit
We were pleasantly surprised with this visit! I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews (learning now some people just have nothing to do, but complain); however, we had a great time. Sure it’s smaller and not the most extravagant one we’ve been to (it’s located in a mall so this should be expected), but the exhibits were great and my kids loved them from age 2-15. If your kids bore easily, I see how some might react poorly to this visit. If your children and yourself are really interested in aquatic life, you will love this place! It was a little taste of God’s glorious creations we rarely get to see!

    Adventure for all ages!
My 6-year-old had a blast! So many different species of fish, sharks, coral and so on. The touch pool was really neat. The best part for us was the clear tunnel. You felt like you were actually in the water with the fish. The entire tunnel was clear! Even the floor!

    Sealife galore
Visited Sea Life on a recent vacation and truly enjoyed the experience. Very informative and educational. We loved the turtle hospital station where you could weigh, x-ray and heal a tiny sea turtle (fake) before releasing it back to the ocean. Sparked a new found interest in sea turtles for both our kids. We loved the 360 tunnel and all of the marine life. Would definitely visit again

    Nice small aquarium
I've been to several aquariums and while this one was nice it was rather small for the price and way overcrowded! The water tunnel was nice but we had to wait in a long line to enter it. Not because of covid restrictions but because people were taking their time taking pictures and not giving any regard to the line behind them. There were some beautiful fish and unique sea creatures to see (when we could see through the crowd). The lady at the touch pond was nice and very informative. My one huge complaint was the gift shop. Not much of a selection unless you are a child. No adult t shirts. And the girl working the register wasn't very friendly at all. It was an ok experience but I won't be back.

    Over Priced
The Sea Life was over priced for what it had to offer. You pay the same high rate for children as you do for adults. The exhibit was not as large as I had expected and only takes about thirty minutes to walk through it. In my opinion it was over priced for what it had to offer.

    Very nice!
We got the package with the legoland and this was definitely our favorite part!! Very cool displays and the interactive (toy) sea turtle exhibit was very cool! I love sea turtles! Its very clean and the workers were so friendly and informative!! The top floor was down, something to do with power issues that morning so we weren't able to go upstairs but we were given tickets to come back no charge! Definitely worth it to checkout! It was me, my husband, and my son (12). We all enjoyed it!!

    Better than expected
We were looking for something to do on spring break with our two teenagers. The reviews here looked good so we decided to check it out. The price online for all four of us was $78..which included tax. If you go after 4pm they have a discount to save a little which we did. It took us just over an hour to go through the aquarium. They have friendly staff that are there to answer any questions you may have. And a couple hands on things such as touching live star fish. I would recommend this place for something fun to do.

    Awesome visit!
We should have planned more time! We went after visiting Legoland. They had plenty of places to sit down and watch the sea life in the various aquariums. It is nicely paced in a winding path to optimize the opportunities to see a variety of sea life. The turtle exhibit gave us the experience of choosing a turtle, naming it and bonding with it for about 10 minutes ... finding out what it ate, what its survival challenges are in the wild, etc. There were 2 live sea turtles rehabilitating in the tank so kids were able to get an idea of how big a turtle is. I have had a chance to see the facility in Jekyll Island so have seen much larger turtles but these were so nice. They fed the rays while we were there and it was a feeding frenzy that was kind of exciting to observe! Definitely worth the expense! The kids enjoyed it as much as we did.

    Not worth $
This in not Worth the money to go. $72 for 2 adults and a teen. It was not well managed to keep crowds flowing. Everything looked dingy. Will not recommend going rather go to the rainforest cafe in San Antonio. Prettier tanks and surroundings and a decent meal for the same price.

I had a great time here. Sooo many cool fish. The setup with the path through means you won't miss any areas. The tanks looked clean and beautiful. Staff were pleasant; Greenley (?) especially was a joy to chat with -- her enthusiasm about working in a place she loved as a child is enviable. We had a long talk and she also did the behind-the-scenes tour with a nice mix of professional-guide and hang-out-with-friend vibes. Staff talks along the way with things to touch and see closeup were good (Andrew, and ... maybe Benjamin??). Staff were also good about getting me into the behind-the-scenes tour when I'd messed up the ticket purchase at the entry. The turtle-rescue exercise was fun and educational. There's information about the creatures, not an excess of it, but a few details about most of the fish. The different types of tanks were cool. Moving projections on the floors and walls are a fun touch. I can see how this place would get uncomfortable if it was busy and full of people. I went on a February Monday afternoon and there was hardly anyone else in many sections. I was the last one out and even in the gift shop, where I'd love to have had time to browse, the staff seemed totally at ease with NOT rushing me out "because we're closing". That's unlike many places. OH, AND, unlike a number of area attractions, the aquarium stays open till 6 p.m., so you don't have to rush through if you didn't get there early. Only complaint is the pre-purchase timed-entry charge-more-on-the-day ticketing: I see this is a Thing in many places now and it's frustrating for visitors unfamiliar with an area and unsure what time they can arrive. Then having to buy tickets outside at the automated kiosk seemed kind of a screwy setup. There was a staff person there to help -- why not just put them at a counter and have them sell the tickets?
I spent over 3 hours here and really enjoyed it.

As aquariums go, it was pretty routine and basic. You had your photo taken on entry which you collect at end of the tour.
The giant turtle, Eddie, was magnificent, as were the mass of jellyfish flowing under different coloured lights.
Staff were pleasant, especially Joe in a wheelchair. Gift shop pretty basic, and you got the chance to collect your photo you'd posed for at start of the tour...... but $35 for poor quality photos was excessive considering they weren't at all good.
Overall, honest endeavours by the staff, but I felt underwhelmed considering what I had paid to get in.
Having it housed in a shopping mall said quite a lot.

My husband and I took our 8 year old and 8 month old here. The kids had a great time. Very beautiful sea life in their aquariums. Aquariums and sea life were well maintained. My 8 yr old had a good time doing the VR video (have to pay $10 extra). The employee running this area was the most friendliest employee there. The only downside: it was really crowded. We went as soon as they opened their doors with the hopes of it being less crowded. Nope…it was crowded. We brought a stroller for our 8 month old but wished we hadn’t. That was the only negative of the experience. They need to space people out more (yet they won’t I know because it’s all about making the money). Overall, we had a good family outing and both kiddos had a great time. I also got some good photos.

Hey, Lisa! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so trilled to learn that you and your family enjoyed your time at SEA LIFE! The Virtual Reality Experience is really fun and we are happy to hear that you thought the employee working was nice! We are however sad to hear that you thought the attraction was crowded during your visit and we apologize if it put a damper on your time at SEA LIFE. We will mention this to our operations team so we can work on improving the guest experience. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review and we hope to SEA you again soon.

I spent $100 for a mermaid makeover with pictures included and a week and a half later I have no pictures and Sea Life is ignoring all my communications. This was my daughter’s birthday present and now we have nothing to show for it. They have nothing but kids working and no leadership whatsoever. Don’t waste your money on a mermaid makeover it’s overpriced. The exhibit compared to the price was outrageous.

We’re visiting family in Texas this week with our six month old and wanted to take him somewhere sensory that wasn’t all about screen time. We figured the aquarium with all if it’s brightly lit inhabitants would work well and Grapevine aquarium didn’t disappoint.

The attractions are all super accessible, and the right size/shape fit little ones (in a body sling in our case) to get up close and watch some really beautiful sea creatures.

Everything was well laid out, staff were super friendly and the size of the aquarium means it’s perfect for our six month old and his short attention span.

Would definitely recommend / visit again.

I had a fun time at Sea Life, Alex was very kind at the turtle station, although the state of the turtle station was worn and in neglect. We loved the sea stars at the touch up old and we enjoyed the speeches as usual.

The photo staff members were so rude and pushy. Sergio in particular was very disrespectful, and it put us off of buying anything in the gift shop. He was focusing on talking about doing things with his girlfriend with his guy friends and trash talking someone who works there as well, then when he realized we were there he was very pushy about upsells, when I spent nearly a $100 to get in the aquarium. Please remind the photo team to be professional and not talk about inappropriate things infront if my children or trash talk other staff. Also, if all it takes is for a person to scan a QR code into a machine to get their pictures taken, why don't you let customers take care of it with staff doing it for them?

I took my aunts and cousins to the Aquarium because we had a two year old with us. We all really enjoyed it. We had a good time. For me it was worth the money because I could enjoy it. My favorite part was the tunnel where we took some really cool pictures with the sea turtle and sharks right over my shoulder for some pretty good selfies. My only area of concern would be that my 4 year old cousin paid the same price for a ticket and that seemed really pricey for a young one who was fighting nap time. Otherwise it was very good for kids. There's plenty of tunnels or bubbles that she enjoyed walking and looking through (Even this 30 year old enjoyed them with her!).

At best this place is just OK. It was nearly empty when we went on a Monday morning in August 2022. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable but the actual things on display weren’t that great. The Dallas World Aquarium in Downtown Dallas is a better experience. A Peppa Pig walk around costume character was randomly there taking photos with the kids which was nice. I would never do it again.

My daughter got to touch the sea stars and enjoyed the views just for kids from the bubbles on the underside of the tanks. Just like the other attractions in the area, you are herded through the crowded exhibits. It was the cleanest place we visited though.

The sea life was fun, but DO NOT GET DUPED. LEGOland WILL NOT allow you in without a child. We bought 2 combo adult tickets and were literally told we could not enter legoland even with a paid ticket in hand. I am now attempting to contact trip advisor to get half my tickets refunded, since the combo ticket costs twice as much as just the aquarium one.
