About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- CubanRobusto0 contributionsLong and boringDinner was good and plenty. Beverage process reasonable. The show was long and a bit boring, seemed like the actors were yelling most of the time. Lots of sexual innuendo which was out of place for an old west time period. It was our first dinner show and probably our last.Written September 1, 2024
- JamesH7780 contributionsSo Tell Me About This Honky Tonk !Had never heard of a Honky Tonk before visiting Fort Worth but so glad we did. In fairness it was during the lunchtime period on a Sunday so doubt we saw it at anywhere near its peak but can only imagine the fun times had there with music, bands, a huge pool hall and bull riding going on all under one roof. We had food and again it was just great, really hit the spot. Thank you to all of the staff who showed us great hospitality and a great time.Written August 16, 2024
- 861lawrencee0 contributionsExcellent experience and birthday celebration. The venue was great and convenient, the food was very good, and the Actors were very engaging with the audience and funny. They were well prepared and provided a very funny, enjoyable experience. They really enjoyed what they did and you could tell!Written August 13, 2024
- FRBD-20 contributionsAssistance from Employees & ManagementI am taking 28 family and friends to Billy Bob’s in June for a concert and unlimited drinks to unofficially celebrate my 70th birthday. To date, my experiences with the management and employees at that organization have ranged from generally unhelpful to just rude.Written May 13, 2024
- California_momofsix0 contributionsHad a great time and felt comfortable even as a middle aged out of town coupleFirst time at Billy Bob's and we had the best time! We were visiting from out of state (for the eclipse) and we are an empty nester couple, and we don't drink, so I was a little concerned that we wouldn't feel comfortable. We should not have worried, so if you have never gone, you need to try it. We attended on a Saturday night for a Travis Tritt concert. Buying tickets was easy online, but you do have to download their app and set up an account. There is convenient parking in a lot across the street. We initially stood in a long line to enter, but staff opened several side doors and allowed people with tickets to enter quickly. Everyone was so friendly. The place is huge, and it was fun to just wander around and see all the memorabilia on the walls. There was no pressure to buy drinks or participate in any activity, you are pretty much free to wander around. We had general admission tickets, and even though we arrived shortly before the beginning of the performance we were able to find a spot next to the rail overlooking the seating session with a great view of the stage. Awesome crowd, all ages. We would love to go back to see other concerts, try some of the food and take some dance lessons.Written May 10, 2024

- J0hnMilewskic00 contributionsHonky tonk barHad a great time walking around Billybob. Lots of history lots to see. Plenty pool tables. Plenty of stages for live music. And seem very clean. Love the bull riding Anna that problem would be open for the public when they show it. I would certainly return in the evening.Written April 13, 2024
- maxpaste0 contributionsAmazing placeThis place is unlike anything I’ve seen before. I was surprised to have to pay $3 to get in, but I understood once inside. We were there during the day so the crowd was small and there was no entertainment going on. We played pool and enjoyed ourselves.Written April 10, 2024
- TennisStar6020 contributionsBilly Bob’s was among Fort Worth’s most popular venues. This establishment was very close to Exchange Street. Most patrons donned cowboy attire. There was a rodeo venue, a concert stage, many bars, and a restaurant. I ordered a Corona beer and brisket. The brisket came with macaroni and cheese, a piece of bread, and a side salad. It was expensive to purchase these meals, but the area was very popular. I did not see a show, but I got a picture next to the concert performer of that evening. There were a few live music performers, but I was not able to get very close to them. I was sure that this venue got crowded at the peak hours, but when I went into this venue the early evening hours, it was free to enter and it was not busy.Written March 24, 2024

- hooley020 contributionsDisappointmentOn Holidays from Australia visited here Walked out disappointed , firstly had to pay to get in , then ordered some food waiting over 1 hr , went and ask a few times , I understand they were busy but 1 hr come on . Staff were quite rude, Eventually got a refund check my bank to see if they did refund our money 2 wks later still waiting for the refund . Don’t know how to get that back as we have come home now . Would not recommend this place for travellers . Very Disappointed .Written January 6, 2024
- karlrY8827LO0 contributionsBilly Bob's Is Not Equipped to Handle Big Crowds!I've been to Billy Bob's many times, but apparently never before for an oversold show, like Flatland Cavalry last night. We arrived around 930 and the line of several hundred people, several blocks long and snaking way deep into the back parking lot, looked to be more than the venue's capacity. This, mind you, for a show where the music had already been scheduled to start a half hour earlier. Too cold to stand in line for an hour and a half to (MAYBE) catch the last couple of songs - we stood in line 20 minutes, until very shortly before Flatland Cavalry was scheduled to take the stage, and the massive line barely moved. This venue is GROSSLY under-equipped to handle a full (or, in this case, what had to be an over-full) crowd. We ate the $50 for the two tickets & went home. SHAME on you, Billy Bob's!!!Written December 17, 2023
- UH60Girl0 contributionsSister's TripMy sister came to visit for the first time and I took her to Fort Worth for the full Texas experience. We had a blast. She got to see two bands and the bars had no wait for drinks. Then we watched some good twostepping. We did not stay late and when we left the line to get in was out the door! You have got to make the trip to Billy Bobs!Written October 16, 2023
- 885billg0 contributionsBilly Bob’s is everything Nashville isn’t…Y’allLeave your Amazon Prime Chinese boots and pink Cowboy hats at home, Billy Bob’s Texas is Legit. We recently went to Billy Bob’s for the Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen “Hold My Beer” event. The staff was very pleasant (contrary to other reviews) and prices were fair. Over 25 drink stations open and the staff was working hard. A very good local band was playing on the house stage and the dance floor was full of patrons showing off their two step and Fort Worth shuffle. For those that have provided negative reviews, every bar is lame on a Tuesday afternoon. Go on a Friday or Saturday evening and you will have a blast. If they are having a special concert event, your night will be one to remember. The sound quality was very good and the establishment was very prepared for a full house crowd. Minimal lines for drinks and table service was spot on. Julie (our concert table waitress) was outstanding. Put the Lucchese’s and Stetson on and head over to Billy Bob’s.Written July 25, 2023

Disappointing. We booked a dinner and photo package for three people at Billy Bob's, entry by 6pm. However, the kitchen and cafe were closed, I was sent an email at 4.26pm to notify me, which was not received until after we arrived in Fort Worth (having travelled up from Houston especially). Didn't have time to cancel and only in town for the day. The venue offered up 40th anniversary book instead; reception actually said we would get freebies to compensate for our troubles (I assumed this was the book) but no refunds were offered for the loss of the $20.00 dinner voucher per person purchased as part of the package booked and which we then had to pay for dinner elsewhere. We did get a photo taken and did join in the line dancing lessons which was fun, although it was pretty quiet overall. We could have paid a minimal entry fee and for the photo separately to have had the same experience for less cost. Having been to Billy Bob's before with clients and colleagues, I wanted to show my daughters who are travelling the spectacle and true experience of Texan hospitality! Sadly not what we hoped for and not value for money this time around.

I visited this place a few years ago and had fond memories. But unfortunately, this place has become a tourist trap. To the point that they now charge $3.00 just enter this place when there is not a concert. Upon entering they overcharge for dinks.

What an absolute nightmare. The "club manager" (whatever that means) Josh, decided to flashlight his "ID" to let us know that we couldnt be near the mens bathroom. After being herded out like cattle by the big large rude security woman, and told that I was no longer welcome I got grabbed aggressivly and shoved out the employee door. The manager josh told me and two other women we were "disgusting" because we chose to use Purell instead of the sink. He proceeded to tell us we were "butch me-two-ers" because we used a solo stall designated for men that wasn't occupied. SO unless you want your night ruined and integrity questioned I wouldnt come here. Josh, im so sorry your manhood is so questionable that you need to attack women, but dont worry I won't be back.

Billy Bob's did not have any Viator Reservation Guests inside of the club on May 23rd. I think this person maybe an imposter on this site.

nice place, surprised they didn't charge to breathe while in there. Nice collection of neon and memorabilia.
Over-priced beers $4.50. $4.00 admission. during the day with nothing going on, except the employees working.

Billy Bob's is an adventure. The walls are lined with handprints and signatures of some of the greatest stars in country music history. Our barmaid was friendly and helpful and the ladies in the gift shop were sweet. A little pricey on the drinks but worth it and Pam gave us complimentary passes. Everyone that goes to Texas must visit! LOVE!

This is a place unlike I've ever been before coming from the UK.
Texas country dancing was very popular and they also have live music acts, food stalls, bars, snooker tables - you name it.
A fantastic experience for a night out, full of energy and vibrancy. Loved it, and so unlike anything I've been to for a nightout before.

You have to see this place to believe it. It is huge. Drinks a reasonably priced and there’s hardly any queuing at the bar. I’d say it’s impossible not to enjoy yourself at Billy Bobs. A must for everyone visiting FW.

We visited Billy Bob's on a very cold Thursday evening, some of us joined in with the line dancing, the live band was Grady Spencer & The Work who were entertaining and we were fascinated by all the memorabilia around the venue

The restaurant was just ok. service was super friendly, but the food was nothing out of the ordinary for bbq. the venue is large with a lot of historical facts to look at, but overall, the $2 cover charge isn't really worth it. I spent money to eat in their establishment, they shouldn't charge me a fee to eat.

I want to bring a group of about 25 people on a Saturday for lunch... is this possible as part of the "tour" experience?

If you want to go to Billy Bob’s on a Friday night to just see the bull riding show, is this possible? Or do you have to buy a ticket just because there’s a concert on?
