      Disappointed Holiday
We did the Holiday Christmas Lights tour but it’s no listed for review. The holiday lights trolley ride left us feeling like we should have just driven our car or stayed home. Total disappointment. No Christmas spirit and we went down streets that had no wow factor. The driver said nothing aside from hello when we walked on the bus. We had friends go later and they too were disappointed.

      Wish we’d saved our money.
We usually like to do Hop-On-Hop-Off tours on our first day to a new city to find out some history and where we’d like to go back to. The problem with this tour is no map was provided so there was no way to remember where and when to catch the trolly again. We were told 90 minutes or an 1 1/2 hours, which ever comes first. The buy 1 day get the next day free was a great incentive, but not knowing when and where the trolly stops are is a bad set-up. We rode with both drivers and they definitely go by a script…all the way down to the same jokes. There was no interaction with the passengers unless you asked to get off at a stop to be told the stop was somewhere else. We used Lyft to get back to our hotel after “Hopping off”. Tour The Sixth Floor Museum where the trolly starts and skip the trolly. Do not recommend.

      My official tour of Dallas
I’m from New York City. I learned quite a bit about the history of Dallas, including how the city got the name Dallas. The tour guide made the trip educational as well as funny.

Informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Good guide
Our guide was very friendly, entertaining and informative. It was thoroughly enjoyable. She was also an attentive good driver. A DART bus sped through a red light that had been red for a while. She saw it. That could have been a disaster. I should have left a bigger tip 🤔

So many things were starting in Dallas because of the love of the city.
It's always great to come to a city and get some history that you never knew. The driver was very knowledgeable and gave us some good things to do for our last day in Dallas.

      Sadly - disappointing
Having experience with many Hop On Hop Off tours around the world, we were looking forward to this unique experience in a trolley car. Sadly there were a few things lacking at making it an exceptional tour. As mentioned in previous posts, the AC was running on high, which we were grateful for, however it really impeded the sound system in the trolley car. We were seated about 3/4 of the way back and could barely catch most of the commentary. While our tour leader was full of information and had an easy going manner, she didn't offer what we could possibly see at each stop, just that she would be back in 90 minutes. There were no maps to pick up either on the bus or at the corner ticket location. Having a map similar to other Hop On Hop Off locations allows an opportunity to see the route, the stops and possible sights at each stop. We were offered to take a picture of the pick up schedule at the front of the bus which had the name of the stops and the cross streets but for someone not familiar with attractions or locations, it wasn't much help. With not having a map, and poor sound quality, it was truly hard to figure out what we were seeing or where we were going. Even having access to a map through online booking to look at or print previous to the tour would not only be beneficial during the tour but also for after the tour if you wanted to walk around on your own. Lastly, the parking garage was easy to locate, but just a heads up, it's a good 10 minute walk to the trolley location, so make sure you allow yourself enough time!

      Great experience!
We enjoyed this tour very much! We stopped twice to get out and take pictures, learned a lot of info about people , places and events that have shaped what is now a great city. Toured about a square mile around the city center. The driver guide was very knowledgeable and used humor occasionally to get her point across. Want Trip advisor clients to know that you can get the admission to the tour for $13.00 dollars less at the pick up point in Dealey Plaza.

      Terrific Trolley Tour
The trolly tour guide was fantastic!! It was a wonderful experience. We had an amazing time and learned a lot of history. I would definitely recommend doing this tour!! Next time we will do the tour earlier in the day so there is more time to hop off and experience the farmers market.

      Grumpy and rude driver
The driver who was the guide tour as well was rude and wouldn't let talk to each other in the bus like it was a school class, she threatened to kick out of the trolley couple of time and did stop the bus to do so, she was driving and texting all the time and was a really bad experience, it was an old lady with too much attitude,

      Great comprehensive tour of Dallas
Great tour of Dallas main attraction, comprehensive tour with very good explanation. One can hop off where they want and further explore desired site. The driver/guide was very accommodating and helped us before the tour started to decide where to hop off considering our interest and time limit we had. Highly recommended

Ok to take the tour to get your bearing but the hop on hop off not very practical for 90 min before next pickup.
It was Ok. Lady narrater knew the area. The hop on hop off part was a 90 min wait so we didn't do that. We saw around the city downtown for a better perspectivw of what was around us.

JFK Trolly Tour. This tour lasts about 1 hour and costs USD $25, seniors USD$18. It is a great tour and very informative. It follows the route of the JFK motorcade stopping at important points along the way to give detailed information about what happened at that point.

It also follows the route that Lee Harvey Oswald took after the assassination to where he was arrested.

After taking the Tour, seeing the Grassy Knoll, seeing where Lee Harvey Oswald fired from, and seeing the photo of KFK’s body. I will let you make up your mind on where the shot was fired from.

I’m so glad we opted to do this tour rather than some others advertised. It was great value for money for a family of four, and in addition to following the events of the assassination of JFK in a concise and informative way, several sights were pointed out that we wouldn’t have ordinarily found out about, the bronze Longhorn stampede at Pioneer Plaze and the Bison and Longhorns at Fuel City. In fact friends from Dallas had never even heard of both! The tour provided a real Goldilocks sweet spot in terms of details, not too much and not too little. The tour took just over an hour and put us back at Dealey Plaza to go investigate the grassy knoll, etc.

We went back and forth on what JFK tour to take since so many are offered. I was a little hesitant since this one was only $20.00 compared to the other ones that are around $75.00. We decided to try this one and figured if was terrible we could book another.
I was not disappointed at all. This tour drives you through the areas of the motorcade, to where JFK was shot and then followed what happened afterwards with arrest and killing of Oswald. I learned so much I never knew! It's a prerecorded track that is playing on the tour, but done very well. They play soundbites from the day while in the locations. The trolley is a little bumpy and makes hard to take photos, but often times the trolley driver would stop long enough for photos to be taken. You see where Kennedy was shot at grassy knoll, the boarding house Oswald went to, where Oswald shot officer Tibbet, the Texas theater and jail where he was shot. The pickup and drop off location is right at the 6th floor museum, so if you wanted to visit afterwards or before you can. The JFK memorial is only a 5 minute walk from here as well. Very happy with the tour and would highly recommend!

Driver/guide very friendly, welcoming , informative and good sense of humour.
We had visited the Sixth Floor Museum in the morning before doing the Trolley Tour at 3pm which allowed us to look round the Grassy knoll and general area in between.
Can thoroughly recommend the tour. Saw many things of interest.

(Note: the only public and very clean toilets are in the government building just across the Trolley Tour bus stop, it was our lovely Trolley Tour driver who informed us of this, it is not advertised)

Fun, interesting tour, past various places where events took place after Kennedy's assassination. An audio tape will be played during the tour. Story is clear to follow.
We think it is highly recommended, especially for this price.

The JFK assassination tour in Dallas is an incredible experience. Although, the tour is pre-recorded, the narrator and the drivers are expert in the field and have a vast knowledge of the events leading up to and following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The way the speaker pieces together all the events is impressive, and you'll feel as though you're transported back to 1963. The driver will show you the exact spots where Kennedy was shot and provide you with detailed information about each location.

The tour also includes history and stops at key locations. All of which were significant in the events of that day.

As you explore these locations, you'll get a deeper understanding of the events that took place on that fateful day. The guide's knowledge and passion for the subject will make you feel as though you're walking through history, and you'll leave with a new perspective on one of the most significant moments in American history.

Overall, the JFK assassination tour in Dallas is a must-see for anyone interested in history.

Do not take the tour in the summer. There’s no AC on the trolley and the windows don’t open. It’s like driving around in a 120 degree submarine. Our driver was extremely rude and told us “Hey, it’s Texas. If you don’t like it, get off.” Nice. She then went on to scold a bus full of adults and told us “No talking!”… when no one was talking. I wanted to get off half way through. Would maybe be more enjoyable in the fall, winter or spring.

Hello Ron, Yesterday was 113 degrees outside. Inside the trolley is 79 dgrees. The AC is on 100% full. This will feel warm after a few minutes. Before each tour we politely ask if it feels too warm for you now you may depart and we will issue a refund. The trolley driver did not say "Hey it's Texas if you don't like it get off" We offer a refund is anyone that feels like it is too warm before the tour begins. You didn't depart. What the tour guide asks about talking, is please keep talking to a whisper, as the tour is very detailed. When there is loud talking, others cannot hear over the talking. It's a considerate and polite policy.

I had a stopover for a whole day so I went to the city center. I went to the place where Kennedy was killed and rode a tram that remembers the old ones that ran through the city. All very well! Although the city on Sunday is quite lonely and there are many people living on the streets. But it is a good walk if you have little time in the city.

Was OK... the trolley is dated and there were about 25 people on the tour. The AC in the trolley is very noisy so makes it hard to hear the presentation. Most of the photo op are on the right side of the trolley, so sit there if you go; but wasn't really expensive so worth it.

The information presented was thorough, and we learned more facts than we knew prior. The length of the trolley ride was great, and the many areas of importance that was pointed out was effective. I wish there was an opportunity to purchase the recording that was played as some of it was hard to hear at points.
