We had a nice tour. Picked up in a central location in downtown Dallas. It was nice to let someone else do the driving since the ranch is 30ish minutes outside the city. The tour guide gave some commentary on the way out to the Ranch. The tour is then turned over to the guides at the actual ranch. This is a must-do for fans of the show. Fun to interact with people from all over the world that come to see this attraction.

Our tour of Southfork was wonderful. From the moment we were picked up to when it ended. Our driver was very knowledgeable and pointed out buildings and landmarks along the way. He went out of his way to accommodate us.
The tour guide at Southfork was very interesting. She shared her extensive knowledge of the history of the ranch and the filming that was done there.

Orlando the guide was excellent. Cost was about $75 each But you can drive on your own and take the tour for $16 there was no added attraction. Just straight to the ranch and back. They buy your $16 ticket when you arrive. The ranch itself is definitely worth seeing if you were a Dallas fan.

We booked the tour in August and it was our only reason to stay in Dallas as we to change planes there on our way to Guatemala. We therefore booked for 19 December our only day there.
They emailed and texted the day before to say Southfork doesn’t open on a Monday so it was cancelled!! Beyond furious and devastating. Tried to change our flight but wasn’t possible. 5 months to tell us!! Useless!

Purchased for my mom. We both had a great time! The tour started from the moment we were picked up. The driver was so knowledgeable and even helped kick things off once on site. The staff on site were very passionate about sharing their Dallas knowledge. Beautiful property!

This activity was really fun.
Our guide was super nice. He took pictures of us in front of the ranch, gave us infos about it before the beginning of the tour. When we were in the gift shop, he waited for us patiently.
The ranch is so big. It was really cool to see all this land and all of the horses and cows. The house is just like the series and the guide had a lot of stories to share with us. It was really cool.
The only « negative » point is the price who is a bit high I think.
But this activity has to be done if you go do Dallas !

Southfork tour was great. The transportation to and from Dallas was not.
Tour guide decided he wanted to stop in shop on way out. We the people in the tour did not but we had no choice., There was only 4 people on bus.
We were minutes late for tour so we had to wait nearly an hour for next one. Bus driver told us we could either wait around in the gift shop or go in to the museum. Did the tour, me and friend walked straight back to bus. The bus driver was going crazy in the gift shop and told the lady that worked there the the other 2 in our tour could get an uber back to Dallas themselves, that he was not waiting. Is walking around the property not part of the tour. Its not our fault that the bus driver made us late. Tried to tell myself and friend we got an extra hour? He was downright nasty. Save yourself the money. Get an uber and come and go as you want.

Dear guest we apologise your drive to south fork did not go as planned, your driver stayed in contact with office (other guests requested stop for bathroom break) with time stamped receipt of purchase of tickets at South Fork at approximately 10:18.. the tour normally has a grace period but started early that day. We apologies you had to start your tour at 11:15.If your driver was a bit direct in getting everyone back to Dallas for next tour. The intention was never to be "nasty'and again we apologies. We were pleased to be able to give you an extra hour at the ranch. Take care and best regards.

The tour was very entertaining and fun. Our tour guide, Orlando was well informed about the Dallas TV series history as well as some of the other nighttime soap opera TV series of that era. We enjoyed our time at the Southfork Ranch and enjoyed the tour of the Ewing home.

Did 2 tours with this company - Southfork and JFK assassination. Orlando was our guide for both and he was fantastic - very enthusiastic and knowledgable, and both tours were full of information and detail. Highly recommend as a great way of seeing this fantastic city.

This was far more interesting than I expected it to be, and I had high expectations. You get to see the entire mansion, walk thru it completely, and the lady at the house was extremely nice and informative. Our guide was Orlando, and he did a good job of passing the time on the trip out and back. The museum, and gift shop is a nice touch as well.

Bonjour, Une fois que vous arrivez au ranch de South Fork, vous entrez par l’entrée de la boutique de cadeaux. Achetez vos billets pour la visite à la caisse puis passez à l’arrière de la boutique. De nombreuses occasions de prendre des photos sur les murs avec les accessoires de la série télévisée. Il n'y a pas de traducteurs, alors prenez une personne parlant anglais vers français pour vous permettre de profiter pleinement de l'expérience du TOUR.

You can visit the gift shop without charge but you are required to buy a ticket to tour the ranch .
Tour Schedule:
Daily tours start at 10:15 am and run every 45 minutes. The last guided tour of the day begins at 4:15 pm. Tour tickets for the 4:15pm tour must be purchased on site at the ranch and are not available through the website booking.

Adults: $15.00 plus tax
Senior Citizens (60+): $13.00 plus tax
Children (6-12): $9.00 plus tax

Yes entrance was included in our tour and I think we had about 2 hours there. We had a guided tour and after that some free time to wander around. i t was plenty.

The tour depends on your tour guide. 45 minutes to an hour and if you are with a group or traveling alone .... After the house tour there are many places on the grounds to walk to and just take your time . A great place to kill several hours steeped in the History of a WONDERFUL TV SHOW .
