- 11388700Great variety of entertainment in one showI would not recommend a visit to Pigeon Forge especially in July. It is definitely for a family vacation. I am a senior and I would never return. It is very crowded, extremely expensive and I felt like it was a complete rip off. I was there years ago and it was by far a much more enjoyable vacation. The show we saw were enjoyable but everywhere you went was s complete hassle. If you must go pick an off season time and definitely not in the summer.
- Red-Super-Hero00Fun for the whole family.A great place for all ages. My wife and I come here every time we are here. So many games to play. All the kids have fun. You can leave for lunch and return. We look forward to the big games to play. The staff is great. There are VR games and experiences. Lot's of information. Well worth a stop. Even adults will have fun.
- briansY271XS00Awesome MemoriesSo much to do in this amazing place. Located right across from Titanic this is a must do destination. Games are awesome, Activities were fun, Pictures were funny and the memories are priceless. VR Game, Alien Egg Ball Pit, Visit the White House or NASA. There just so much going on and you'll want to do everything.
- Ashley S00Worth every pennyFly ride was our favorite part of the experience. Plenty of arcade games and interactive gaming as well. No extra fees required. Lots of other things to do beyond that. We were was concerned this would be all about taking selfies and geared more for kids and teenagers, but there was plenty of options to appeal to all ages. The customer service was the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. Every single associate was so kind and helpful. Alexis really stuck out to me. Huge smile and you could just tell she loves her job! Would highly recommend this to anyone, especially our family.
- tazman56900Something to do indoorsThis was kinda different place, seemed to be kinda small and was able to get through quick and we still got many pics. the fly ride here was ok, seemed to be more hype than what it really was. If you are stuck needing something to do indoors would do this, but if you can do other things those may be better. Family of 4 was a little expensive for what it was.
- ladybugg32500Family fun for all agesOur family of 5, including 2 teenagers and 1 10 year old, visited Beyond the Lens in February. Aside from the price, the whole experience was great. I’d definitely recommend anyone, of any age to visit. It can take as long as you want it to. We spent around an hour there but if we had done each exhibit, it would’ve definitely taken double that or more. Lots of interesting exhibits, hands on things and virtual reality. This fits right in with the high prices of the area but can be expected due to the tourist towns.
- 719tarryh00So cool!!!!OMG, I’m 59 and my grandson is 17 and we both loved it! Very exciting ride for all ages. Really feels real!!!
- Frankieflan00Surprisingly funWe were hesitant to go, but thought we would go ahead. The interactive games really entertained everyone. We had 4 adults, and kids ranged from 7-15.
- SoEveryDayLacey00Highlight for the TeensWho knew this would be SUCH a good time. Virtual reality was a big hit. The Fly Ride was actually beautiful AND fun. You can play a giant connect four and a giant ball pit and loads of funny OIG pictures set ups. This was a great afternoon for every age inner house - but especially fun for the teens!
- CaulderFam00Not as impressed as times pastThere have been some renovations with the adding of the new attraction to Beyond the Lens! But only in the lobby area unfortunately. I do like the new lobby set up but the rest of the place needs some TLC. Several of the exhibits were out of order or not working properly. Will we be back...Yes! Our kids love this place and its easily a 2 to 3 hour adventure.
- Kevin E00Fun time - try and go when not crowdedThis place is worth the cost if not too busy as there are tons of games to play (VR and pop a shot type games), but would be boring if you had to wait in a long line to play.
- Linda H00Very disappointedWe had a large party thinking that based on reviews, it would be entertaining for adults and children alike. Many rides and activities had signs stating not operational and activities were not small child friendly for sure. We were shocked at the exhibit about President Kennedy’s assassination, depicting the violence of the crime. Not appropriate in my opinion for an amusement type setting and especially with no forewarning given. Our entertainment dollars are precious and we felt this was a waste of our money.
- Pioneer1959800don't waste your moneydon't waste, your time and money, going here1 my family and i ,was there on august 19 2022.half the thing to do, did not work. you get a card, to take picture, thru out the place and, half the camara, did not work, they froze up. the stiff ,rushed us thru, started closing down the place a hour before the placed closed
- Kristen H00Love the arcade gamesWe have visited multiple times. Our favorite part is the arcade games....unlimited games is a bonus with teenagers! Lots of cool exhibits and now FlyRide!
- L1810XRnancyr00Loved this place! This is a must visit when you go to Pigeon Forge, it's great for kids big and small. There are all interactive things to do, as well as virtual reality games. This time it was just myself and my husband. We were lucky to meet James at the counter who explained everything about the place . He even went out of his way to find us while we were there to see how we were doing! Can't wait to go back and see the new additions being built.

Visited last week during Spring break. Our family of 5 had a great time and we all enjoyed the museum. Took advantage of the Groupon which made our experience even better.Viseted the museum in the afternoon and there was no line to enter and barely any people inside.Virtual reality attractions were our favorite and we all did them twice.Out of all museums we visited in Pigeon forge this was our favorite. The other day we went to Wonderworks which has similar attractions, higher price and LONG lines we regretted we did not go to Beyond the lense again.

If I'm being honest we hit this place because they had a great coupon deal. Really wasn't sure what to expect from reading on it but felt like it might be a good way to blow a couple of hours. Took the grandparents, self and wife and the kids. It was a blast. Tons of things to do. We laughed at each other, enjoyed the games and all of the exhibits. My 78 year old father did the virtual light saber game and after he was done the people waiting in line started to clap for him. There's not a lot of things in Pigeon Forge I will tell people to go do but this is one of them. We spent 3 1/2 hours in the place and it didnt feel like it at all.

We visited this attraction after reading reviews and hearing positive reviews from friends who had visited. We were able to get a Groupon deal for the tickets which helped. We went on a Sunday afternoon, which meant low crowds and more time for the exhibits. Several exhibits were closed or being redone which was kind of a bummer. Overall the exhibits were neat but kinda “generic”. My kids enjoyed the VR, however the employee running a particular one was not enforcing the line, so we kept getting bumped back as kids would just walk up and he would allow them to experience, despite the clearly marked line routes. Not a huge deal but a little nerve racking as it kept up. I’m glad we got a deal on the tickets and it wasn’t too crowded, definitely not a place I’d wait in long lines for.

Beyond the Lens! is advertised as a pop culture museum, which I guess it is. What we didn't find out until researching it afterwards was that upon opening this year it was actually called National Enquirer Live!. It's a whole museum dedicated to a tabloid. We started to get some sense of this as we walked through the exhibits- going from Michael Jackson and Bigfoot to exhibits about JFK and Princess Diana conspiracies and an exhibit about the moon landing being a hoax is... jarring, to say the least. I would honestly recommend the Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum over this place, but we still had fun. Probably not a great place for young kids, there's not really anything for them except a ball pit and a couple VR games. I noticed one of the VR games was actually just a game from Steam called Richie's Plank Experience. Lots of good photo ops.

This was by far my favorite museum I've ever been to, it was so relevant to my whole family, 3 and 2 year old, 33 and 32 year old and 67 year old mom. We got to act like kids, dance, relive our childhood and teen years and even got to share our past with our kids. It was truly a fun experience with the friendliest staff, make sure to take all the pictures cause at the end you can buy them all for super cheap!

This place is FANTASTIC ! Our family had a blast walking through and enjoyed all of the different interactive exhibits. We have a 13 year old and 7 year old and they both were entertained the entire time. The staff is very friendly and the entire building is spotless inside . We absolutely enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed!

The law in Tennessee states that you must wear a mask while indoors. However the employees of this attraction are NOT ALLOWED to enforce this rule. Many people not wearing masks, no social distancing and nothing anyone can do about it. The staff does their best to clean between uses on the attractions that are staffed but most are not staffed. Also, about 1/4 of the things you’d want to see are not working or under construction. No discount though. We went through in about 20 mins because we felt so unsafe.

We take the safety of our guests and staff very seriously. We have the mask mandate posted on the doors and at the front ticket counter. We clean and disinfect in between guests on all exhibits, We also disinfect every 1/2 hour throughout the building. We also provide hand sanitizer in every exhibit area. During Spring Break it is quite busy, we would love to invite you back when it is less crowded. Please reach out to our General Manager. Thank you.

Lots of very cool photo props and interactive games. I was disappointed that they didn't space out how many people could go through at one time. Lots of people in very close quarters and due to overcrowding not able to experience all of the interactive games.

A rainy vacation day of fun interactive play that was enjoyable by all ages. Exhibits were fun, laughable, and some very educational. It had something intriguing and fun for all ages. I will admit there is definitely a sales pitch when buying tickets. A basic admission is just as fun as the “VIP” experience. Only purchase the VIP if you want a bunch of silly photos from throughout the location. We spent approximately 2.5 hours at Beyond the Lens which I would think would be about an average of time needed depending on the crowds. The day we went it was not overly crowded but it was busy (between Christmas and New Year’s)

I visited 07/20 with my husband and two children (2, 5) and we were beyond bored. Before I would advertise a business as being “family fun,” I believe I would make it known that it’s “family fun for 12+ (maybe.)” The only thing my kids somewhat enjoyed was the ballpit, which was mediocre. I know it’s hard to accommodate toddlers so I’ll let that slide, but my five year old, who isn’t hard to please, wanted to know when we were leaving within 15 minutes of entering. We also decided to try the Flyride, the attendant working the check in very clearly hated her job and made sure every guest was aware. If you’re thinking about paying the money to enter this overpriced selfie museum, go to Wonderworks across the street and Skyfly at the Island, you’ll have a much better time.

I do not recommend for very young kids. I guess only 5 year old would have the fun in exploring the place. It's more for ages 8 onwards.

I am also a friend of the Ramsey family and I traveled to Pigeon Forge to see for myself what the display was after being sent a photo of the trophies on display. I can say for certain the trophies are NOT those JonBenet won - they are in safekeeping. But I have to say I saw nothing to suggest they WERE the "real thing". They were clearly collected from other people, most had the plaques removed. They were representative only and I didn't think in bad taste at all.
The recreation of one of her pageant dresses was, IMO, perfect for it reminds all of us this was a CHILD who died, and she deserves justice.
The covers of the tabloids were not anything I enjoyed, but the fact is that is how the media went after the story and we shouldn't even try to rewrite history but LEARN from the mistakes made. The headlines were clear but the stories blurred and I think overall the exhibit would not be considered entertaining but informative. No blood, gore or explosive and dramatic effect. The one board on the details of the crime was easy to find, but also easy to keep from younger eyes.
The exhibit does nothing to point at the parents as guilty and that was important to me. I wish more could be done to make the point tht this crime remains unsolved and someone must know, have a hint of, who did this.
The video that ran is kind of hard to hear with others going in the room so I asked for them to turn off the others for a minute so I could hear and report on the video. They did as asked and I found the video to be the story of a man who was treated as a suspect, "Santa" Bill McReynolds. It was an honest depiction and not upsetting.
What I did find upsetting was some misleading text on a single board. I spoke to them about the content and hope to see changes made in the near future. Just hope they will include more of what the truth is that came out later and not the misinformation that fueled the early case stories.
Overall, don't we want the case to remain open and in public discussion? As long as what they have is honest, I don't know why anyone would be upset at the rather sensitive coverage of a crime we don't want the world to forget.
