    Great Vow renewal!!!
My wife and I went to the Titanic to renew our vows on the 40th anniversary. The staff was all wonderful, our officiant was Capt Campbell and Nathan coordinated our experience and took photos for us. Everything was 5 star. The only issue we had was the professional photographer who did not get good photographs. The staircase was in low light, and I don't think she was experienced in shooting. The pictures she took came out muddy and slightly out of focus. Fortunately Nathan took great photos, and many of them so if one picture didn't come out we had several more to pic from. Captain Campbell was a fantastic officiant, he had just celebrated 50 years. I really understood what it meant to us. All in all - a great experience for us!

    The titanic is always great
I’ve been to 3 titanic museums and I have to say this one isn’t the best but it was still great. I felt more rushed at this location vs the other 2 locations (Orlando and Las Vegas). This also was a self guided tour and Orlando offers a guided tour with more information. This museum still had a lot of interesting things to see and read and I’m glad we went.

    Fun and Educational
We loved our visit to the Titanic museum. It was a little slow getting in because of how they do the timed entry but it also helped limit the crowds in each room. Before you enter you get assigned to be a person that was actually on the Titanic and then at the end you find out if your person survived or not. They have alot of artifacts that were on the Titanic. My kids are 8 and 11. They enjoyed the interactive exhibits the most. They liked trying to walk to ship deck and the different angles as the ship was sinking and trying to steer the ship to avoid the iceberg the best. Other things we enjoyed was pretending to shovel coal and feeling how cold the water was where the Titanic sunk. One of the employees was doing a virtual field trip for a school class while we were there and my kids helped do some demonstrations, this is one of their favorite memories from the museum.

One of the best museums I’ve ever visited
This turned out to be one of the most moving, comprehensive museums I’ve been to. The museum allows entry based on reserved time slots, but once you’re in you can take as much time as needed to see everything. The artifacts, pictures, placards, tell the story of the Titanic from multiple different perspectives…from the people who designed and built it, the crew, and the passenger experience for all 3 classes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). There are still new artifacts being discovered. The Titanic did not go straight from Southampton England to the open ocean towards the U.S. It turns out the ship went from England to France, then to Ireland before heading into the open ocean. There was a priest who got on in England, then got off in Ireland. He took thousands of pictures of the ship, passengers, etc. Some of the pictures were published at the time but most of the negatives were stored in a trunk. When he died, the trunk was left undisturbed until its rediscovery in the 1980s, and thousands of never before seen photos were published. There was a unique display of a massive replica of the Titanic made by a young person with autism. In addition, there is a video raising awareness of autism. Another striking experience was a room recreating the deck at night, stars shining, then containers over the railing containing water at 28 degrees and you’re encouraged to put your hand in to feel how cold it was. It’s one thing to know in your mind it was cold, but another thing altogether to get the tactile experience of having a part of your body submerged in it. There is so much more to tell but I’m running out of space! Just GO!

A definite must see if a Titanic fan
The Titanic museum was a excellent place to visit. You start and get a boarding pass of one of the passengers and see if they lived or perished. The self guided tour was very educational. There is displays and artifacts that were floating on the water from the Titanic. Easiest way to get tickets is on the cell pone. You still have to wait in a line to use a computer anyway to get tickets.

    Sobering and deeply moving.
This is a must see for titanic nuts. Walk the corridors of the ship. Climb the famous staircase by the clock. Take in the history, what happened and how. Feel the icy chill that night and soak up this immensely tragic story. Brits, take a pinch of salt with you! It’s really worth the visit. It’s really immersive. Educational and deeply moving.

    Cool experience
Very cool experience, learned a lot about the titanic and it’s history. Was interesting to see the limited pictures and hear from some of the survivors that made it through the horrible tragedy. All the theming is very well done. And true to what it would really have looked like( as far as we know) . You get to place your hand in the cold water to feel what some of the survivors and the perished people might have felt before their cold death. At the end you get to find out if the name they gave you in the beginning was a survivor or not. My only confusion was I thought his was more of a guided tour, it was not. All self guided , and you just listen to little audio messages along the way.

We enjoyed every moment of the museum tour. The tour and its personalized speakers that you may select and listen to made the journey on the titanic come to life. Feeling the water and cool breeze aboard the ship made us feel the power of the ocean. We could truly feel the sadness of the wreckage. We learned so much. Each of us got a ticket aboard the ship and got to find out at the end if we survived. It was a learning experience for all of us!

    Fun and educational museum!
This museum has so many original artifacts! The layout is a wonderful journey from beginning to end. Even my 10 year old, who has little attention span, was engaged the entire time. We spent about 2 1/2 hours inside, but could have spent more time.

    Powerful Adventure
Get ready to set sail on the Titanic. Many artifacts, pictures and self guided audio tour. Very moving history and an excellent 26 foot replica of the Titanic made out of Legos. A must see while in Pigeon Forge.

    Top place to visit.
Having been to Belfast, Northern Ireland and visiting the Titanic attraction there built on the slip where the Titanic was built; we weren't expecting what we experienced here at Pigeon Forge. A fabulous job. Well thought out and well worth a visit. This is truly an attraction that you do not want to miss if you are in the area. Highly recommended.

An excellent exhibit! A must see!
We visited the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and it was a wonderful experience. Each guest receives a boarding pass of actual Titanic passenger or crew. The information was truly amazing, and the tour had audio to coincide with the self- guided tour as you traveled throughout the museum. The Grand Staircase is indeed grand. The galleries of artifacts and the history of the ship is truly remarkable. An excellent exhibit!

Interesting focus on the people of Titanic
Enjoyed the general information about the Titanic and some of its memorabilia, but mostly enjoyed the focus on the people of Titanic. (I love the story of the head baker.) The individual hand-held guides were a nice touch; however, they offered little information not already on the walls.

I purchased my ticket online in advance and was told to call to reserve a time. I did. In the museum parking lot I received a text to remain in my car until receiving another text saying I could come to the museum. I did that too, only to find a long line already waiting to enter at 9AM, the first entry time of the day! After an ear splitting broadcast admonition to wear a mask, etc, repeated several times while I waited, I noted that a few people thought they could skirt the "no exceptions" to the mask rule. They were given masks. However, once inside the 6' social distancing rule was also ignored and the broadcast request to report to a "crew member" if people were crowding would not have been possible to do-there were no crew members in sight for most of the "sailing." Children as well as adults were getting a little too up close and personal with strangers. There were far too many people given the 9AM entry time to make it possible. If there had been more crowd control I would have been able to enjoy this experience. As it was I felt I had to keep moving at a pace quick enough to move out of the way of those following behind so I missed a few important parts about the sailing and sinking.

This attraction was very interesting. However, I don't know that I would have wanted to pay the full price for it (we used groupon). There is a lot of information to digest and some really cool displays. If you are interested in the Titanic disaster or a history buff I think this would definitely be your cup of tea. We made reservations well in advance. I would suggest getting your tickets at least a week in advance as people were being turned away and told they were booked up that day and I think the following one or two days as well. Masks are required and small groups to accomodate social distancing requirements are allowed in at a time if you are worried about that sort of thing.

This was a fun day trip over from Asheville, NC. We went early in the morning (10am) which was a good idea considering when we left a little after 11am there was already big groups of people gathering outside the entrance. My wife loves the story and movie of the Titanic and it was fun to be able to experience some of the lesser known facts about the maiden voyage of the Unsinkable! The tour is self-paced and easy to navigate. We took our 18 month old which was a little tough. I recommend a little older as she was not able to engage in many of the activities and exhibits. There were a few moments she was able to enjoy like the hands-on iceberg and the 28 degree water. This is a great trip to add to a weekend getaway. It would be a great adventure on a rainy day as well!

Here it is the year is 1912 we're setting out on the maiden voyage of the world's safest largest ship the Titanic. We board the ship and make a couple of stops then we set out across the Atlantic Bound for New York then on that cold Dreadful night or ships fate was to hit the iceberg. We lost 1200 lives at night out of 2000 I was one of the survivors.

Now for the review it's very nice inside it's worth the $21 you'll pay if you get a discounted ticket the gift shop is very cost-effective as it's one of the cheaper places to spend money in Pigeon Forge. They take you through the building of the Titanic the sailing of the Titanic and the sinking of the Titanic right now they have the 20-year anniversary clothing on display from the movie that was cast 20 years ago. The other display items that they normally have are at the facility in Branson Missouri which they will get back next year. So if you've been this year the show will be different next year. We enjoyed ourselves all three of us picked people that survived well they picked them for us but we survived we were all first-class passengers of which 205 survived. It is a great history lesson and what went wrong and how you should not cut corners to save a dollar or a pound. I recommend this show it's good for both adults and children as the audio tour has selections for both which the children will enjoy.

We purchased tickets online at the last minute so our entry time was in the late evening. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance of your trip so you get a better time slot. They hand out personal hand held listening devices to get information at various spots around the museum. I was in a wheelchair and found the museum very accessible, but some displays were hard to see from a seated position. The tour is self paced and people were jammed up at the beginning but spread out as we progressed through the museum. The exhibits, artifacts, and photographs were very interesting, but I found it hard to read many description cards from my seated position. I loved the ticket each guest received with the name, personal information, cabin/dining class, and a short history of an actual passenger. I was able to see where my passenger slept, ate, and spent the days. Happily I learned that she survived. Overall it was a good experience.

My son has been wanting to visit this museum for 3 years and I was finally able to take him. We did have to wear masks because of COVID-19 but I didn't mind since he was so excited to go. They give you a listening device on a lanyard that describes each section or gives personal stories about the Titanic. There is an adult version and youth version of the information. A couple tour guides will interact with you but most of the museum is self guided. You aren't allowed to take photos until after you pass the grand staircase and even then you aren't allowed to use a flash; I still got some good pictures. Some of the interactive sections were closed (again because of COVID-19) but that's understandable. Overall we had a good time.

If I could have given this a 100 rating I would have!! My husband and I came to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We have 3 children and do not get away much. We had many activities planned for the week and enjoyed them all. Our trip to the Titanic Museum was by far the best experience of our entire trip. They did everything right! They are so organized, you were given a time slot, waited in your car until you received a text to board the vessel. We visited other attractions while on our trip that could learn a lot from the way the Titanic Museum operates. The displays and artifacts were amazing and extremely informative. We have always been fascinated by the Titanic and feel we know a great deal about it. We were both pleasantly surprised by the things we were still able to learn. We feel very privileged to be able to see the amazing violin and add that to some of our experiences. The sights and information were amazing, but they were not even the best part. The staff at the Titanic Museum was by far the best part. They are all so amazing and informative. It actually appears they all love their jobs, A feat very hard to come by these days. I would like to take a minute to shout out to Jonathan Pierce. When we were leaving the museum and entering the gift shop he was there greeting each guest and and assuring we all enjoyed our experience. We started chatting with him about how much we have always been fascinated with the Titanic and how this was the best experience. His passion for the Titanic was beyond compare. To be honest we spent at least 30 min talking and "geeking out" together. When we were talking about the amazing lego display and that our son has autism and is the same age as the boy was when he built it you could tell that it really touched Jonathan's heart. He specifically asked for his name and told us he would return soon. He came back with a book that he said was on him for our son. This was such am amazing display of caring and customer service that has been lost in our society for far too long. Once we got to the car I opened it and read that it was the book about the boy that built the lego ship. Inside the cover was a hand written note to our son personally from the RMS Titanic Crew. It was by far more than I could have asked for and an amazing gift. Jonathan also told us that there would be a new exhibit coming July 1st (my birthday). We live about 6 hours away, but because of the amazing experience we had (greatly in part due to the exceptional customer service of Jonathan) we are planning a long weekend to come back and see the new exhibit. This is more than "just a museum" it shows the personal stories and experiences that have been lost. This puts faces and names to a story that in many history books is lacking.

We were searching for something to do on a rainy day, and always wanted to visit the museum. The staff was very disorganized and rather rude. You could hand the attendants cash who were standing outside at the entrance, or had to walk, in the rain, to the other part of the entry to use the kiosk to purchase a ticket. Then you stepped inside the lobby where there was staff behind raised wooden desks who only accepted the tickets. Why can't you buy tickets inside? They too were disorganized, we had to wait in order to get in. There was one person who spoke at the very beginning about the beginning of the voyage, but the rest of the time you were on your own until you arrived at the area where there was a man playing an instrument. He went on a break, so we didn't even hear him play, and no one took his place. Very interesting artifacts, but VERY POORLY run. I would not recommend it and it was quite expensive.

Thank you for alerting us to some of the key issues you experienced at the Titanic Museum. Obviously we failed to deliver and our management team is reviewing your comments. We appreciate our guests keeping us on our toes. We are excited to have a world-exclusive artifact coming in July. The $1.7 million-dollar Titanic Violin owned by Wallace Hartley. It is the most requested artifact and our Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is honored to have this on display. Thank you, Titanic Crew.

If you are a huge Titanic fan, you will love this museum. It was filled with beautiful things from the actual ship, as well as replicas and even a Lego Titanic. But, if you're not a huge Titanic fan, it's pretty good, but, I wasn't overly thrilled. Be careful when you go to the gift shop. My son bought a throw that was on sale for $9.99 and when I looked at the receipt the next day, saw where they charged $29.99. I know it was 9.99 because that price is what was on the throw AND the basket it was in. I called them, but, they never called me back. Not very good business. The gift shop business is what got the rating of poor instead of better. Sorry, Titanic, but, someone should have called me back!

Guest Frustrated with a retail purchase: Your gift shop purchase has to be an honest mistake. If you could visit our website and send us your email info, we will review the issue with you. Wonderful museum with a lot of interesting artifacts and and information. I think my favorite part of the museum was when you stepped through a door and it looked like you were out on the deck under the stars. There was a big piece of ice that resembled an iceberg, and a pool of water that you could dip your hand in that was the same temperature as the ocean water. Gave me chills in more ways than one. Also, when you go in, they assign you an identity of a real person who was on the ship and by the end of the tour you get to find out what happened to your person. Throughout the tour, you get to hear the stories of real survivors. Highly recommend getting tickets in advance as they often sell out before the day of.
