    Must visit experience!
We spent about 2.5 hours in here, exploring the different music eras and artists. I actually enjoyed taking one of the sheets and finding the different items around the museum. Tbh I think they were for kids but it did make me tune in more and pick up on things that I would never have noticed before. Definitely recommend this place and doing the kids sheets!!!

    A must-see
I absolutely loved the Country Music Hall of Fame, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville. It offers a comprehensive look at the history of country music, and the exhibits are incredible. So much to see. I would also recommend opting in for the additional tour of RCA studio B. Our tour guide, Hal, was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the studio. 10/10

A must seefor the country fan
Excellent museum loaded with a lot of information and memorabilia. Enjoyed the interactive sessions and the short videos. A must see for anyone with an interest in country music and seeing the roots of many of the more recent stars.

    Worth it!
Even if you aren't a 'die hard' country music fan, be sure to check out the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The building is gorgeous. The exhibits are clearly marked. The music compliments the floor you're visiting and doesn't overwhelm you while you are reading and viewing. Spent about 2 hours there on our first visit. Probably could have spent a little more - next time!

    Detailed but same-y
Very detailed museum about where country music came from and the past and current stars. I loved seeing manuscripts in the artists’ handwriting and the wear of the instruments. There were a couple of cars and offices on display as they were left. The highlights were Elvis’ car and the walls of gold records. The only criticism for me was that after a while, I started noticing it was a bunch of the same stuff (clothes, instruments, manuscripts) just with different artists. It started getting boring after a while and I rushed through the more current displays. I loved the layout of the museum though and it was easy to navigate. :)

It was a one-time place to go
It was crowded when we went so it maybe the reason I left an average review. It’s a must see for a first time visitor. Try to go more at the end of the day or first thing in the morning so to avoid the crowds.

    Must-visit!
Had been to Nashville a few times before finally visiting the Hall of Fame, and now I wish I went sooner! There’s so much fascinating history here, I was blown away. The exhibits and artifacts are very well thought out. A highlight was going into the karaoke booth!

    Felt obliged to visit
Not really sure what I expected but it was fine; probably would have been better if I was a fan of country music. The interactive exhibits were fun and the gift shop was well priced with some decent souvenirs

Cool to visit even if your not a Country music fan
Great exhibits, lots of very cool pieces of country music history on display. Takes about 1-2 hours depending on long you like to take in each area.

This venue is well worth visiting, so please give yourself enough time to visit the entire exhibit, you’ll be glad you did. Even those who aren’t country music fans will be in awe. From the early beginnings to today’s up and coming, the amount of talent in the building is staggering! Truly with seeing!

Came here with friends on a road trip. Not a country music fan at all - classic rock guy. Having said that, I was impressed with the displays and overall presentation, and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Lots of history, awesome memorabilia, and everything well laid out and displayed. The audio guide made the complete experience well worth it - definitely recommend getting the audio guide, rather than trying to read it all on your own. I would say this is a must for any country music fan.

I visited with my daughter who is the country music fan, however I thoroughly enjoyed it. We were there all day, with the RCA tour in early afternoon. The audio guide worked well and was interesting. It is a large museum, so we had a break for coffee and then lunch. Both taken in the museum itself. The burger we had at the restaurant was particularly good. The lady that took us up to RCA studio was very funny and had some good stories particularly about Elvis. When she played some of his songs in the studio itself I got goosebumps. We both enjoyed the Kacey Musgrave exhibition.

We did this tour to do something in Nashville other than eat or drink and I was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed the museum. I highly recommend adding the audio tour as it gives you a ton of history and takes you through the entire museum with explanations. Museum is nicely kept and easy to get through and wasn’t super overcrowded. Recommend if you like country music or just want to learn more about its origins.

Fantastic. Great value for the price. The Hall of Fame had many exhibits of most of my country western performers. I especially enjoyed the tribute to Willie Nelson and the ups and downs of his career. I also enjoyed the tributes to Alabama, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. Disappointed not enough Merle Haggard. Also really enjoyed the Hall plaques.

This museum was a great introduction to the many musical sub-genres within country music. We enjoyed the multi-sensory experience offered via a blend of exhibits, video and audio clips and posters. Really enjoyed the top floor, the bottom
Floor with exhibits covering the 60s to current area could be better organized.
Note that when you buy admission tickets with audio tour you cannot avail of any of the youth/student/teacher/senior discounts. In retrospect, the audio tour was not really necessary to enjoy the experience.

I’m not a country music fan at all. But I was in Nashville, it was near the hotel so we went. Even if you’re not a fan of the music the museum takes visitors through the roots and origins of the music all the way to the present day. I gained a better appreciation of the genre.

Spend the extra $5 on the audio guide, it’s well worth it.

This was a very well done museum. I barely used my audio guide, as the placards at each exhibit were informative and easy to read. There are so many artifacts to see: clothing, records, videos, special exhibits and more. I probably spent about two hours there, but could have stayed longer.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We only had a couple of hours to do the tour (self guided) and you can certainly spend more time than that. We saw evrerything (we also had an audio guide) but didn't read every single exhibit or listen to every audio clips, just the ones we were most interested in. I had visited the museum once before (1977 when I was a teenager) and it certainly has lots more things than then. I would definitely like to return again at a slower place when I didn't have to rush (although we didn't really rush too much) and see and listen to everything. Plus, no matter when you visit, there are always going to be things added between then and the next time you visit. Don't miss this when you visit Nashville.

My wife and i just spent a ling weekend in Nashville and this was one of the highlights of the trip. We are not big country fans but are somewhat familar with names and the music. It really increased our appreciation and also realize we knew more about counrty than we thought. Allow at least three house and spring for the extra $5 audio tour.
