Not really worth purchasing ahead of time.
There was no line, we had the place to ourselves (on a Saturday) and general admission is only $24.99 at the door.

The wax museum was a really cool experience. The wax figures were life-like and the details were incredible. The exhibits are set up with many photo ops and they even have a camera set up in the middle you can take a group picture.

We purchased the sightseers

The museum is located in the Opry Mills Mall, which has plenty to do afterwards as well. You could plan an afternoon around it.

We visited Friday around lunchtime. My husband and I had a 17, 18 and 21 year old with us. I had read the reviews ahead of time and was not thrilled about paying $24 for each of us to go, when alot of the reviews said that it wasn't very big. I found tickets for free, if you bought the jump on and off trolley tickets for $45 and then I went on Groupon and got the last 4 tickets offered for $12 apiece. Then I went on Madam Tussaud's website and got the 5th one for $18, so we saved quite a bit.i did buy the least expensive tickets and the only thing that I could see that we didn't get with these tickets, was to dress up in different dress up clothes and get our picture taken (about half way through). I believe that you could pay extra and still do it, if you wanted to. It is self guided (unless you bought the more expensive tickets) and I am glad as we could take as long as we wanted, when walking room to room. Each room was fabulously decorated with the time era of the musicians (starts earlier in time to present day). You could take photos and touch the wax figures. It was pretty neat to see how tall, thin and realistic everyone looked. We all really enjoyed it and got some great pictures of each other with the "stars". I actually would have felt ok paying full price for it!

lilly43 We love that you shared your full experience. You are a champion in sourcing the best deals that we have out in the market. Great work! The fact that you had varied ages with you and that you all had a great time, is so great to hear. Because of the universal music theme we our attraction relate to all ages. Just to clarify, the photo op (dress up) half way through the attraction is free to everyone, there is no additional cost to take the photo. There is only a fee if you decide to purchase the professional photo upon viewing them at the end of the attraction. Please come and see us again soon, as we are constantly making changes and additions to enhance the guests experience.

We stopped here after our tour of the Grand Ole Opry. It is located inside the mall directly across the parking lot of the Grand Ole Opry. My husband was definitely hesitant about the value for this experience but he ended up having the most fun out of us all. There is numerous different rooms with artists for you to take selfies with and even provide props for you to join in on the fun. We had a blast taking turns posing for pictures.

I was amazed at how lifelike the figures are - I expected them to start talking at any moment! I was shocked that this museum lets you touch them and pose for selfie with them! They even encouraged me to hop on Prince's motorcycle! I guess because Nashville is "music city" they were going with a music theme. I did hear they rotate their characters or change the age of the characters from time to time. I went on a Thursday afternoon and only stayed a little over an hour, but it wasn't crowded and we left with some great photos!

We went with the teens. We were to walk around before our Opry night, but it was simply too hot. So we spent a part of the afternoon in the museum. We had a great laugh and a great time looking at the exhibits, taking pictures with the statues, listenning in the good music. There was country, but also Soul and RockNRoll artists.

From the photos posted here, seems like a few statues have gone missing, or are rotating.

But we did enjoy the air conditionning and set-up of the museum.

My oldest daughter picked this attraction and this was a great choice. The floor plan is well laid out and the wax work is amazing, the details were very good. I thought for sure this museum would've had Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton but they were no shows. $5. off coupon helped with the cost but still cost us $55.

The museum was a lot of fun! But I must say, the staff made the experience as wonderful as it was. They were accommodating, kind, and helpful. My friends and I were visiting Nashville for my friend’s bachelorette party and we would highly recommend visiting Madam Tussauds as an activity to do - especially if you love country music.

Went for my birthday with my husband and kids we had a great time. I’ve been wanting to visit the one in Vegas but this one is closer to where I live. My husband was shocked he liked it as much as he did. My daughter was so excited to see Taylor Swift and my son lit up soon as he saw Michael Jackson.

We had such a great time at Madame Tussauds - My family and I (2 adults, 1 child, 13), spent about 25 minutes in the museum. We probably could have taken longer if we wanted to, but with COVID restrictions we didn't want to be in people's way, so we kept moving so we didn't crowd anyone. There was a hologram of Darius Rucker's face on his body which was really cool. The sculptures were so life-like that I kind of underestimated how much it would feel like a funeral? Ha! Justin Timberlake being that close to my face was worth it for me though. Even though his wax sculpture doesn't have his signature look that I love. We had a great time - I booked through Trip Advisor directly and was pleased with the experience we received.

If you want to get a taste of Madame Tussaud’s wax museums, I am not sure this is the first place I would start. This was supposed to be all about Nash like, but it was sprinkled with pop. The figures were OK at best with the exception of Waylon Jennings. His wax figure was eerily too real and I had to keep checking for movement. Some of the others were good replicas, while others down right missed the mark. Not sure it was worth the price of admission.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review about your recent experience. We do agree - Waylon Jennings looks almost too real but that's the fun of the museum. We hope you consider visiting other Madame Tussauds locations in the future.
