    Great all around experience.
This tour was very comfortable as a smaller bus. The tour guide, Renae was knowledgable and entertaining. We learned a lot about Memphis including things that made the history more interesting

    Worth every centand then some
This tour was the high point of our four day visit to Memphis. The gentleman who played the music and told stories on the tour was superb. He talked about tidbits of the city and musicians that are simply not common knowledge.

    Fabulous 👌
Mary, our tour guide was both knowledgeable and fun! This was a great tour to tell us all we needed to know about downtown Memphis. Mary found us an excellent spot from which to view the cute Peabody ducks too! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

I wouldn’t recommend based on our poor experience
Cancelled after we’d arrived which was disappointing. But what made matters worse was we’re advised to walk to Sun studios, 15 minutes they said, actually was 30 minutes Then when we’d got there, the organizers had cancelled our places Also heard other guests saying cancellations were not uncommon.

Discover Memphis - this is a great way to get acquainted with historical Memphis
Larry, our guide was awesome. We didn't realize we would be stepping down at so many locations to get an up close look - that really was a fabulous surprise. BBQ was a perfect hit-the-spot; we didn't need to get lunch afterwards. Highly recommend

We had a good time on the tour
We saw a lot of good places and had some good BBQ. I especially liked the Rock n Soul Museum. My wife loved the riverboat cruise. Our tour guide Larry, did a really great job of telling us what we we’re seeing and the history behind it.

Daniel was our guide, and he was great. Knowledgeable about the city, energetic, funny, and engaging. You do walk a good long bit at the beginning without much story being told, but don't get dismayed early on, there are ghost stories and there are great facts about the area. I always enjoy a good ghost story, but it is also nice to get a tour of a city at night when the sun and crowds are down. My #1 recommendation is to do this tour on an off night if possible (aka not Fri, Sat) we got to go into some of the buildings that they say you can't do when it is busy. We did this tour on a Wednesday night, and stopped at two different locations where we could go in, grab a drink if we wanted and see the interior of the buildings in great depth. If you are person who ONLY wants ghost stories, and if you don't get ONLY ghost stories you will write a rude review, then this tour isn't for you. But if you are a nice person, who has a genuine interest about a place, and likes to have it sprinkled with the dark and mysterious, then definitely do this tour.

We took the walking ghost tour. You walk about 2 miles and it was great exercise and great fun. Our guide Daniel was amazing. He had an excellent sense of humor and was extremely knowledgeable about Memphis. You could tell that he really loved the city. He told us many ghost stories and tales which were all extremely interesting. I learned a lot about this city from him. We had a few people who kept interrupting him and he was very patient with them. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who anyone who is interested in the city of Memphis and the supernatural and ghost stories.

There were moments of laughter that I enjoyed. People in the city were entertaining, some were very rude. Mosquitos everywhere during the walk which made things very unpleasant.

So the reason why I give the tour a 3-star and not a 2-star is because of my misunderstanding of what the tour was supposed to be. I thought we were going to get to go inside of these supposed haunted buildings, however, it was just a tour along the sidewalks of the city getting to see the buildings only from the outside. Finding the tour was a bit confusing too, as the meetup area is at a bar. We did finish the tour, however, it was about 2.5 hours long. About 75% of the group left early as I think many of them were disappointed in the situation as well.

All in all, I’d say save yourself time and money and go do something more interesting. If they ever get to do tours in actual scary and haunted buildings, I might consider doing it again. But at this point in time, it’s a hard pass for me.

Our family just did the Memphis Ghost Walking tour and it was awesome. Our tour guide was Daniel, I would highly recommend him if you can request him, very informative on his knowledge of Memphis and the ghost history. We had 2 of our grandkids with us, ages 10 and 12, they had a great time as well. Although we were not allowed in to any of the locations because of Covid, it was still worth the money. There were a few stories that Daniel told us, that would make the hair on the back of your neck and arms stand up..😱😱.

Patty was a great guide!!! She was very energetic, a great storyteller, and very accommodating to the guests on the tour. This was mine and my daughters second time to take the tour but it had been updated with a new route and some new stories. It’s an easy enough walk and you definitely get a great feel for some of the history Memphis has to offer!!! I highly encourage you to take this tour if you’re a history lover or are intrigued by the supernatural!! FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jay, our tour guide was awesome! She was a lot of fun and very informative. My husband and I had a great time on the tour that took us several different places through out downtown. Each place had a spooky story to accompany and a little history of memphis. I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone looking for some night time fun, especially if you are interested in history.

Brian was our tour guide for the haunted walking tour. When I say he had everything going against him on this tour, I’m not exaggerating. One group was running late - always a couple minutes away, but after 20 minutes we decided to head off without them. During the wait, a group became extremely disgruntled at the tour guide, causing a scene and becoming downright rude to Brian. He made the (right) call to ask them not to attend the tour. All fine by us! There were six folks on our tour, and they were all super friendly and engaging. Glad the late folks and disgruntled group didn’t end up coming. More fun without them! On top of that, shortly into the tour Brian alerted us to a tornado warning. After consulting radar, we all decided to forge on. On and off rain continued during the tour, but we made the best of it. Brian did a great job explaining the history of all of our stops and truly helped provide a spooky atmosphere. It wasn’t the ideal situation, but we truly appreciated his expertise! Plus, he made a couple great recommendations for places we’ll check out while we’re in town!

This was a 2-hour fast-paced walking tour with narrative stops at several sites whether considered haunted or not. Stories were not very scary but lots of interesting historical information. We did not enter any sites. I do not recommend if you are hoping to get the hairs on your neck raised; however, if you’re looking to get your steps in, see a bit of downtown Memphis at night with a group, and hear random trivia about the local area and the tour guide’s personal life, I suggest you give it a go.

Tour taken in late July at night. The heat was unbearable. Make sure to bring water!
