    A hidden gem!
What a wonderful morning we spent at the farm! We started with the farm tour. Becky was a thoughtful and very informative tour guide, and a joy to listen to. There were 8 of us on the farm tour (two children and 6 adults) and we all throughly enjoyed it. We got to feed the chickens and the sheep, and it was a fantastic experience all round that I would highly recommend. Highlight for us was Topsy who immediately stole all our hearts. From there we went to Thyme for lunch, food was fantastic and the setting is just lovely. Then we had a wander in the beautifully maintained grounds and the deli. Would highly recommend a visit here, it truly is a hidden gem. Will be back.

    Great farm tour
I absolutely loved the farm tour. I really recommend it and it is great for children. You get to feed the animals and the animals are nicely kept. There were horses pigs geese ducks chickens and sheep. The cafe has gorgeous food. Rebecca was a really good guide and told us lots of interesting things. I went with Ellie aged 9 who wrote this review with me (Louise 21 😂) because trip advisor wouldn’t allow a review by a 9 year old. I also was on the tour and thought it was just as interesting for adults and I would highly recommend.

    Great experience for families.
We enjoyed a fabulous time with Becky on her farm today. We regularly spend time in the area and this was something new for us and was a fantastic morning. We came with our one year old boy and were met by Becky who gave us a relaxed and informal tour of the farm where we were able to meet and feed the pigs, ducks, geese, hens lambs and more. We had a great time and I would thoroughly recommend this as a great visit for families with young kids. It is definitely a unique experience for the Tay Valley area. We topped the tour off with coffee and cake in the restaurant. Toilets and baby changing facilities were top notch!

    Perfect Farm Tour
This was such a wonderful experience! Our group was searching for a farm tour to book during our trip to Scotland, and this one was absolutely perfect. Becky was so knowledgeable and friendly and the pace was great. There was lots of interaction with the animals and some great photo opportunities as well. We had lunch at the deli, which was delicious and convenient. We would gladly do the farm tour and lunch again if we are back in town and would seriously consider staying there. It was very accessible by car from our hotel in Pitlochry and was only an hour and a half drive from Edinburgh. We HIGHLY recommend this experience.

    A hidden little gem
We had an absolutely beautiful time here. It was peaceful and personable. Becky loved the farm’s animals well, and did an excellent job of allowing us to share in that experience. We fed a variety of rare native species and enjoy lots of time with some of the baby lambs and a highland calf named Rosie. She was perfect. Would love to come back and stay. Excellent restaurant and local market, too, which thoughtful and responsibly sourced food. We felt comfortable as vegans here.

    Lovely Family Holiday
I think that this is our fifth year coming to Garden Cottage and it really does feel like our home from home. Becky, Paul and Fiona all do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. We were blessed with stunning weather and enjoyed the ability to have good weather to go paddling at Loch Tay (Dalerb) is a fab spot further on than kenmore which has great parking and facilities for this. We enjoyed a lovely run up to Loch Lyon, as well as visiting the usual spots like Blair Castle, Highland Safaris, Pony Trekking at Mains of Taymouth We are back again in Feb (Anna is hoping for snow again) this time to enjoy everything that a different time of year brings

A perfect family friendly activity - great for all ages.
We had the privilege of being led on one of the very first of the new guided farm walks introduced for the summer of 2017 and it proved a huge hit with our brood, with a relaxed morning spent exploring all corners of the stunning grounds and getting acquainted with some of the characters to be found … from the new baby of Errichel, a week-old calf who our youngest decided to name Jack, to Islay, the matriarch of the herd of horses and ponies keeping watch over her family. Following in our bootsteps was Fergus, a dutiful Shetland pony called upon to transport the mouth-watering cakes and refreshments that provided the perfect end to the perfect morning down on the farm. Our hosts for the morning – Rebecca, Dervla and Raina – brought the story of Errichel to life and time flew past. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Guided Walk - Highly Recommend
What a wonderful way to spend some time exploring the land at Errichel taking in some fantastic views and learning some interesting facts about the local area and the farm from another era. We were staying at Garden Cottage with our daughter aged 10 and decided to take part in the new tour an met up with our the others taking part; our guide (the lovely Raina and Becky) along with Fergus the pony who was tasked with carrying the lovely tea and coffee and cake provided and having the occasionally munch of grass on the way round. We walked through the farm yard getting to see the chicken, geese, ducks and the home bred highland ponies before venturing beyond the 'home paddock' It was interesting to see the remains of several round houses within the grounds of Errichel and as getting to enjoy the abundance of wildlife and fauna. I would recommend anyone taking part to wear some sturdy shoes and take some smidge spray or avon skin so soft (just in case you get some midges). The walk can be a bit uneven and steep in places but you certainly wont be disappointed in the views or the conversation. :) Around half way round the walk we stopped and enjoyed some lovely tea and coffee and wonderful cake provided by the restaurant 'Thyme @ Errichel' which provided some good fuel for the onward walk back down to the farm whilst enjoying the breath taking views.

Exploring the land - grand views - great company!
What could be better than taking a hike - that takes you through the pastures and hilltops of Errichel farm? You get to meet several of the animals - and take a couple with you! Let the pony (Fergus) carry the food (which is delicious and plentiful) while you'll be entertained by Pepper Pot (the dog) who is so energetic and fun - you don't even care if it rains a bit! The trip has just the right tempo with plenty of stops that allow you to gaze at the amazing views. And you have a chance to learn as much or as little as you would like as you follow and listen to the guide (Raina) about the current, the known, and the future plans to discover the past. It's a perfect way to explore the land and "have lunch"!!!

Lovely Guided walk with ponies and goodies!
Although we have been a guest to the farm several years in a row now, Errichel managed to stun us with a new " attraction", a Guide walk through the fields. These stunning lands are filled with beautiful nature&wildlife and there is plenty to see of that during the walk but getting a lecture of the archaeological history of the land gave a "soul" to the whole trip. The trip was further topped off with a fantastic lunch in the most serenic surroundings one can imagine Can't wait to get back!

I booked my husband a Charcuterie tasting session. Everything about the experience was excellent. That was the venue; staff members demeanour and expertise. I sat and watched with tea and cake. We both learned more about flavours and how they go together enhancing our love of good food.
We were given links for purchasing produce.
The setting was lovely and I can recommend the blacky ham to purchase afterwards.

We had a wonderful time with our cheese and charcuterie tasting - the food and pairings were a fantastic selection of produce from Scotland including some made on site. Becky was incredibly helpful in accommodating our large group and accounting for dietary requirements. I would highly recommend the tastings which are in a fabulous setting to boot. My great thanks to Becky, Paul and the rest of the team at Errichel.
