    Not up to Expectations!
The show itself was very good. However, the meal left something to be desired. The Mahi Mahi was very dry and the vegetables undercooked to my liking. The potatoes were overcooked and cold. The pulled pork and sticky rice was very good. They could have supplied a much better dessert than the piece of cake. At the price, I expected better, especially when I've had a much better meal at Medieval Times, Pirates Voyage, and the now defunct Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach.

Fun and very much worth the value!
I was looking for something different to do to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday so I was researching dinner shows in the area and came across this gem. I started reading the reviews and I think I came across maybe one not so good one but all of the others were 4-5 stars which was impressive to me. I then went on to the website to look at the details and was surprised at how reasonable the price was compared to most dinner shows. I booked the show immediately for my family members and myself thinking this has to be good with all of the good reviews. The show did not disappoint. We got there earlier than the 6 pm check in and were immediately brought inside to our table. Plenty of parking was available behind the building. It was a big room, decorated in tropical fashion. The dinner was buffet style and already set up and ready when we got there. I liked the fact that you could eat before the show started at 7 and at your own pace. If you wanted to go back and get more from the buffet during the show you could. I was pleasantly surprised how good the buffet was. All of the meats were delicious. The show started at 7 and went until about 8:15. The head "chief" that narrated the show had some funny jokes and the performers were very good at getting the audience involved but not so much so that it was annoying. The majority of the performers seemed young and they worked their butts off performing! The whole show was fun and the fire acts were super impressive. I would highly recommend this show for a family celebration or for couples. It is in a strip shopping center so from the road you probably would never know it was there. I'm very glad I came across this online and will definitely recommend to friends!

    Polynesian escape in Florida
The experience was wonderful! The performance was very authentic and was able to tell a story of the history of the dances with a little humor tucked in for fun. All of the seats were good but I enjoyed paying a little extra to view it from the closer seats. It was well worth it. I would have loved a longer show.

More authentic flavors in the food. Too white bread, and I'm white! I did this because I will never make it to Hawaii or any Polynesian country. The food belonged more at a high school fundraiser event in a 25,000 person town in the Midwest, where a faculty member of distant Polynesian descent was running the show. The indoor portion has little production value. The projector video ran on a 15 second loop and was very distracting. The cast was wonderful even though they were working on a limited budget and it showed. The decorations were something I could find at the Oriental Trading Company... on sale. The outdoor portion with the actual fire was fantastic, but the price they charge for essentially 20 minutes of entertainment is not worth it.

While I prefer to leave positive reviews, this show was a disappointment. On the positive side, the location was convenient and the parking lot was large. Also, I did sit at a "high top" table that afforded me a good, but distant, view of the small stage and separated me from the other patrons. The few performers were textbook talented and were enthusiastic.
The unfortunate part of the experience is the whole setting. The performance room is a party store decorated hotel reception room with long, multi family shared tables with the exception of several aforementioned "high tops". The buffet dinner was uninspiring and the fish was dried out. The finale, using fire, is moved outdoors to the patio of the hotel. From that location, anyone walking by on the street or hotel patron can enjoy your $50+ show for free. Very much a Mom and Pop grade production and not worth the cost given the multiple outstanding performance options available in the Myrtle Beach area. My last note on the matter is the length of the show. Seating is at 6pm, the pre show music started about 6:45 and the whole show ended at 8:05pm with a brief intermission. I regret not being able to leave a better review from my June 2021 visit.

I was disappointed I thought by me getting to this event with me and my children ages 3, 9, 12,12, we would have got a great seat. But we where on the list to be seat at the very back of the room at the end of the. Table. My children stood most of the time to see. The music was very entertaining because we could not see. I spent 300.00 for a light dinner and music because we could not see anything until they took the show out side

Polynesian Fire Myrtle Beach was an OK outing for us. A family with four teenagers, the entertainment and fire show was great, but buffet food is below average (room for improvement for sure). In conclusion, I wasn't feeling happy with the price per person, and we paid extra for the premium seating. The best part was that there was a lot if audience participation and since we were near the stage all our teenagers participated. Liked the show, but the food could use a bit of effort.

My husband and I chose this venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a great choice. Setup for entry was smooth and quick even though a lot of guests were arriving at the same time, and food and service were very good. The performers were talented with colorful costumes, and the MC mixed humor with information about the islands where the dances and music originated - highly recommend including the fire show in your vacation entertainment plans.

The show was great... loved the dancing and and talented musicians. One dancer was exquisite. The bartender tried to short me ten dollars and when I told her “ I gave you a twenty,” she didn’t seem surprised and quickly gave me the $10. The food was okay... average even but the show was very well done so we enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend the evening overall.

Fabulous show! Food so so but you don't leave hungry. Although the venue may have been a little dated it puts you in the mood. From the minute you arrive until the very end you are transported to the Polynesian islands. The performers were award winning and very personable. They sprinkled in a little humor throughout the show and had audience participation. As for the food my Huli Huli chicken was dry although others in my group said theirs was not. The mahi mahi was way too salty for me. The pulled pork was my favorite. The meal comes with tea or punch with adult beverages available for purchase. Overall an evening well spent. If you’re looking for something different to do while in Myrtle Beach I highly recommend it.

Very entertaining, Myself and other mom took four teen age girl scouts to the show this week, we enjoyed it very much. Food was very good, except for the cake, no one at our table finished it. no other choice of desert, was disappointing, and no fruit at all. The cast was wonderful.

Seating arrangement made it difficult to see the show. We were the last ones to eat, but people were getting seconds before we got through the line once. Took 45 mins to get a drink and was never offered refills. Way too long between doors opening and dinner. Would recommend creating a second buffet so everyone can eat before the show starts.

They greeted us upon arrival, held the door open for us, showed us to our table and provided live background music while we had our dinner. We so enjoyed the show! It was well done and exciting (not to mention funny)! They are all excellent musicians as well as singers, dancers, storytellers and performers. I loved that they explained the difference of dance styles according to the island. It was informative yet lively and very entertaining. We would go again! I highly recommend it!
