      Enjoyed the day.
Very rural and quiet experience. Had a relaxing time while cruising around island in rented golf cart. As others have mentioned it’s a bit tricky reading the map but that is part of the fun. The beach was great. Slow paced but that is what we were looking for.

Great staff, beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend their services. This review requires 100 characters so blah blah

      Rip Off!
Pretty much a total rip-off. Although the staff was friendly and engaging, the boat was jam packed. Nowhere to sit but metal benches along outside edges of the boat, which made eating a challenge. Food was mediocre at best. Drinks were horrifically overpriced and bartender claimed to not have change for at least two people in our party. Music was way too loud. Definitely not worth the price.

Great meal and very fun cruise
We were looking for something fun/new to do on the water with our family (kids ages 20-26). This was fantastic!!! The food was very good! There is a bar in the back of the boat and plenty of seating. There is seating up front for those who want to be close to the hibachi show but you can see it from the back of the boat too and they do a good job of bringing the saki around to everyone who wants it. There was a bachelor party on our cruise and they seemed to be having a great time. Would highly recommend this for a fun dinner on the water!

      Hibachi Dinner Sunset Cruise
The sunset hibachi cruise is mostly a party boat. If you are going for the food and sunset, it was good. If you want to party, you’d probably love it. Unfortunately, the chefs offered up Japanese saki wine and even if you said NO to it, it was pushed on you. The company needs to realize that some people do not drink alcohol (think former alcoholics, religious reasons, medicine, etc). Lovely idea, but please remember no means no.

      Great fun for family!
So fun! The chefs were excellent and so good with the kids. They got to participate and had so much fun. The food was typical hibachi but done well. Bathroom was clean. Cruise was very pretty and even after a cloudy day we got a great sunset. Kids are 6-11 and they really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend for families.

      No-sunset hibachi boat ride
We went on the sunset hibachi dinner cruise. Booked this thinking my husband and I would have a romantic way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Instead, we felt like we were at a frat party. 🙁 Way too many people on board (no way enough life preservers could possibly be available). Weather was deplorable so there were no sunset views. We left from the dock and went a short distance to a bridge, which provided cover to the dozens of passengers (as well as the cooks) who were exposed to the rain. No commentary whatsoever on what we were seeing. Lots of antics like squirting sake shots into passengers’ mouths and flame throwing. The worst part is that we were in limbo all afternoon not knowing whether the cruise was going to take place. I called countless times and found out only 45 minutes before departure that it was a go. When I booked, I clearly indicated we did NOT want to go in inclement weather. But no refunds were offered. 🙁 The whole experience was a HUGE disappointment. I will say the one positive was that the food was good (however, no drinks were provided; even water had to be purchased). Overall, it was a waste of time and money. I couldn’t wait to get off that boat!

      Not worth the $$
Pros: the food was good. Cons: there are no tables to eat your food on. Drinks cost extra. The boat is over crowded with, I counted, 37 paying customers plus staff. A lot of people stood up the whole time. There is one bathroom for everyone. I’ve never before paid $100 to eat off a paper plate and have no table. At a minimum, a drink should be included. The idea is wonderful but their execution is not good. I hope they read these reviews and take note. This could really be a great experience!

Highly recommend this hibachi boat ride with great steak, chicken, shrimp, fried rice, salad and drinks, and sunset views.

      Way overpriced
Food was decent but it was easily twice the price it should have been. Then to charge for non-alcoholic drinks after spending $115pp was asking a lot. You’ll eat from paper bowls, no tables, crammed shoulder to shoulder with other folks. Truly it was VERY overpriced.

      Great Cruise
Took the hibachi cruise this week with Island Head. Had a great time! The food was terrific and plentiful and the chefs (Logan, Dakota and Christian) put on quite the show. Captain Tim and first mate Beckett were fun and kept us safe. Sunset was beautiful! We’ll be back

      Best Crew
We went on the sunset hibachi cruise with McKinley and John as the crew plus the chefs and it was the highlight of the week. They did a phenomenonal job running it and the service was exceptional. They all seemed happy to be there and were so much fun to talk to. Our whole group enjoyed the trip and would do it again if we are in Hilton Head.

      Absolutely the best!
Absolutely amazing excursion. It was the most fun, and I highly recommend it. I went with my husband and two children 8 and 12. Everyone had a blast. The food was wonderful. My 8 year old enjoyed watching them cook on the hibachi, and they were very nice to her and met her chatty personality. Everything was perfect. Perfect weather, beautiful sunset, delicious food. There is a pay bar with nonalcoholic and alcoholic options. You can also bring something with you if you prefer. There is a bathroom on board. We saw plenty of dolphins even though this wasn't the point of the cruise. I would choose this cruise over any other offered at Hilton Head, and I've been on another. There was no skimping on the food, our bowls were overflowing with meats, and the staff never had a hand out for tips. They were very friendly, answered questions, and had a great attitude. You can tell they love their job!

      Horrible experience
This was a complete joke! It was basically a ride on a large pontoon boat in the dark. The sun had already set by the time we boarded. You sit on aluminum benches (very uncomfortable for the entire duration). A lot of people preferred to stand. Someone came around and offered saki shots… that was the extent of any interaction or entertainment. They said there would be fireworks, and yes there were, but it was an establishment (possibly hotel) on the shore that set off fireworks every night and we were so far away we couldn’t even here the canons/sound when they exploded. Food was ok but NOT a Hibachi show. We just sat there and the cook said I’ll let you know when it’s done. When the food was ready it was so dark we couldn’t see what it was so the guy held up 2 phone flashlights…. We were given small paper bowls and were expected to balance a drink and food on your lap to eat. All beverages were an additional cost, even water. Most everyone on the boat were mumbling about the price and how ridiculous the experience was. Definitely not worth the money.

We truly enjoyed our sunset dolphin cruise and would heartily recommend it to others. The boat was small and uncrowded (hold 14, we had 6 plus the captain). You are very close to the water and can see everything well. A baby dolphin came right up to the side of the boat, so we were a couple of feet away from him. Our captain, Colter, was fantastic - upbeat and knowledgeable - setting a great vibe. We saw many dolphins and a beautiful sunset on a terrific tour.

This dolphin cruise was excellent! The boat was the perfect size, comfortable and we were able to cruise around the water at varying speeds. We saw lots of dolphins and our captain was great! Very knowledgeable about the area and friendly! I was really impressed that they did not cancel our tour as we were a small group because it was the perfect experience to end our Hilton Head trip! Would absolutely recommend this boat tour!

John B was a great captain. He did not talk the whole time but gave out pieces of information about the water and island as necessary. It was a perfect balance of relaxing and learning. We saw plenty of dolphins and really enjoyed the scenery. Highly recommend for a morning out!

My husband booked this and I am glad he did!!! We originally were scheduled for 3 P.M. today but got a call and asked would we like to go on the 1 P.M. instead and we did. There was a family of 3 on board with us so we had room to move around and take pics and videos. Devin was the best, she shared her knowledge with us and took straight to the dolphins. I recommend Devin and Island Head Dolphins Tours!!!

Beware! This tour was not at all what we signed up for. We signed up for a tour on a small boat that holds a maximum of 14 people. This is how it is described and what is shown on the picture. When we arrived, we were put on a big boat that contained at least 40 people. If i had wanted a tour like that, I would have chosen a different tour on a different day. We chose this particular tour because we had 7 people and most of the small boats only take 6. This one is advertised as taking 14 passengers, so we chose it even though it wasn't a great date for our group. We were very disappointed at being so misled. The person at the check in window was not helpful at all.

We were delighted to see a dolphin near the dock as we walked out to catch our boat tour. Apparently he is the “resident dolphin” of that dock. Unfortunately we only saw 3 other dolphins while out on the tour but they swam and played around our boat for quite some time which was very enjoyable. Our guide, Emmett was very friendly and knowledgable about the area and the dolphins. It was an absolutely gorgeous day so we felt it was well worth the cost even if just for the relaxing boat ride and scenic views. Would definitely recommend.

So originally my tour was scheduled for 4:30pm but due to the weather we had to reschedule to the 6pm tour. That was probably the best thing that could of happened. We absolutely LOVED our tour with Devin! She was so kind, knowledgeable, and fun!! She also had a killer playlist that just set the vibe so perfectly!! I could almost swear that the dolphins loved it too, but I won’t speak for them. I 10/10 recommend doing this tour and even asking for Devin!! She made the experience so memorable!!!!!

Captain Devan was excellent! She knew right where to find the dolphins! We saw several and even some baby dolphins. Captain Devan was also very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some information about the area and pointed out things along the trip. The best part of the trip was when we started back. One dolphin decided to follow us and swam in our wake right beside the motor at the back of the boat. He kept surfacing and showing us his whole body. Then he swam ahead, circled back, did a little roll to show us his face then went on his way. We were so close and was able to get some great video footage. It was really exciting and we had a great time. I definitely recommend Captain Devan if you go. She really made it a fun trip and she knows where to go to see the dolphins!
