A lovely way to spend a morning.
This was a relaxes and relaxing cruise. The weather was perfect, the water was calm, and there were indeed dolphins. I think my favorite part was beaching on the island and walking around. It was fun to collect shells and get our feet, wet, see all the beautiful bleached driftwood, and the sand was so wonderful and fine. Both kids and adults really enjoyed it.

Tour Guide is terrific / Captain has major anger management issues
I hate writing bad reviews and almost never do. The boat tour itself was great as was the tour guide. If we ended on that note it would be 5 stars. However, the Captain completely snapped and lost his mind on my friend to the point I was terrified it would escalate and someone was going to end up in jail. (Should be him but there's always the risk of the authorities taking locals' sides over tourists). First off, I am the daughter of three generations of harbor pilots. I'm on boats all the time. I understand that docking is stressful/ requires concentration and following orders is important on a ship so please don't try to say I don't. I also know that a Captain should be calm and understand that aggression/escalation endangers the safety of everyone. He was totally out of line. My friend has a loud and joyful personality and we were at the end of a great trip. We were having fun. She wasn't being quiet enough for him and he just lost it. We also think he may have confused her with a different passenger who lit a cigarette but I'm not making excuses for this loser. He singled her out, screamed in her face, tried to (or maybe even did put hands on her) before we were able to intervene. This is not a way to get a passenger to be quiet so you can concentrate on docking FYI it's a way to make everything worse. He allowed his anger to escalate to a level well beyond unprofessional which made my friends reaction worse. Since we were on his boat, we were at his mercy and I was just praying I could get my friend out of the situation. WE de-escalated the situation not him. A Captain who is so easily provoked to assault a passenger is just as if not more dangerous than a boating accident. I wish I had caught the guy's name so I could tell everyone which Captain to avoid. Again, the tour guide herself was great and no complaints there. If you're reading this, sir, please seek help or at the very least don't work with tourists trying to have a good time if you can't handle it. There were much more professional, safe, and effective ways to address the situation. This line of work is not for you.

      Great evening harbor tour
I visit Charleston with my wife often, but have always declined the ghost tours because I thought they were hokey. A colleague recommended this one, and since we were bringing our kids on this trip decided to do it. The tour was wonderful, full of great History, facts, sites, and even the ghost stories were fun. Lee was a wonderful guide.

      Wonderful Anniversary Weekend
The place was amazing with a perfect view. We especially enjoyed the wall of sliding glass doors in the living area and primary bedroom, leading to a cozy, yet spacious, screened back porch. The shower in the primary bedroom was awesome, with lots of hot water and fantastic water pressure (we didn’t need to use the other shower). The hosts were sweet, leaving a bottle of wine and the most delicious cookies ever (I would love to know where to buy them). The location of this condo was perfect, right across a small bridge from all the shops and restaurants in Folly Beach. It was perfect for our 34th wedding anniversary trip. We will be back!

Disappointed in narration and serving of already Intoxicated loud passengers.
It's more like an adult booze cruise. It's definitely better for the adult party scene. 3 Stops in narration to serve alcohol to already intoxicated loud passengers. Comfortable harbor boat tour ride. Narrative provided some interesting ghost stories but could have used less of the narrators family history. We were disappointed, and the cost did not match the narrated tour provided.

Nice night out on the water. Captain was extremely nice, but narrative needed to be a little better or more flowing.

Interesting Tour of Harbor at Night
Very informative tour of the Charleston Bay. The stories provided by the young woman were interesting enough, some dates (years) were provided, but others were not, leaving us wondering when said event occurred. Had drinks (alcohol + non) available for purchase at reasonable prices on the boat.

      Highlight of our trip!
Great mix of ghosts, history and laughter! We had a blast. The narrator was one of the best I’ve heard. We all bought his book on Amazon.

      Best tour ever
I had the best time ever ! Leigh (the tour guide) has the best sense of humor , told amazing stories , and shared about her family tree which goes way back in the history making days of Charleston ! On top of that , since the boat wasn’t sold out , she showed us amazing pictures of some of the people and things she was talking about on the tour. I will defiantly be doing this over and over again and asking for Leigh everytime ! If you want an amazing experience and an amazing story teller , I definitely recommend taking these tours !

      Review
The cruise ride was great. However the tour guide was terrible. She didn’t look the part of a haunted guide. She wore a mask the entire cruise making it hard to understand her and the stories of ghosts were very disappointing. I took away more of her family tree than I did of Charleston ghosts. I would not recommend this choice of ghost tours. My whole family was so excited and it was terribly disappointing considering Charleston is the number 1 rated ghost city.

We highly recommend this cruise. The captain and assistant, Crystal, were accommodating and friendly. Crystal was very knowledgeable about the area and history of the sites we passed. It is a beautiful ride on a very comfortable, safe boat. If I had one thing that I wish was better about the cruise, I wish we could have been in a position on the harbor to take pictures of the sunset. We were around a corner and the sun slowly disappeared without any special attention given to it. We decided it must be a cruise taken at sunset time of day, not a cruise to see the sunset. Seeing the dolphins made up for it. :-) None the less, we had a nice time and encourage others to use this company.

This was a very nice boat ride with funny and interesting commentary from Nick our guide and bar tender. Drinks were reasonably priced. Our Captain kept the boat dry even thought the water was choppy. Overall a smooth safe ride. We were initially on the wrong boat due to poor guidance from a competing charter but Nick called my cell phone and retrieved us for a much better ride.

Thank you for your awesome review! We are so glad that you had a pleasant experience on our sunset cruise and appreciate you sharing your experience. Sadly, the other boat company does not check to make sure you are on the correct boat! Kinda scary. Glad Nick was able to get you on our boat. Thanks again. Nick was friendly, funny and really added to the overall experience. We saw a dolphin pod and they swam to both sides of the boat so everyone got to see them. The sunset itself was gorgeous. Drinks are sold on the boat as well. Would do this again and recommend to anyone visiting or living in the Charleston area

We did the Charleston Harbor Sunset Cruise with Victor. Both guys (the captain and his “crew”) were very entertaining and accommodating. Their knowledge of the history of the landmarks was impressive. It was obvious they’d done their homework. The size of the vessel meant that the group was relatively small. This also made the experience more meaningful for us. We would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Charleston.

We weren't sure what to expect, so this review is one of being "pleasantly surprised". We had a terrific time aboard this sunset cruise. The captain was topnotch! Besides being very capable and evoking a sense of trust, he is so knowledgeable about the history of the area (long ago and recent), as well as the wildlife and natural habitat. We learned so much!

And I have to say that he, along with his first mate, were well endowed with a sense of humor. Just as you would think he was reading from a script, he would insert some ridiculously funny quip. Hilarious.

The first mate made the trip so comfortable - serving drinks taking pictures for people, and just being generally fun and inviting. He had only been working there a few days, yet we thought he must have been doing this for a very long time he was so good at getting people talking and smiling. Fun, relaxing, very clean, and safe cruise.

A very comfortable, stable boat run by a great crew. Captain Mike, Captain Bob, and Victor were fun, entertaining, and they ran a cruise that went by in a flash. Victor's jokes leaned toward the "dad" variety but were funny nonetheless. He was so engaging and great about taking photos of every couple/family on board that wanted them. A little bit of a tour, not much history (they are not historians and they don't claim to be) but we saw a bunch of dolphins and it was really neat to see so much of the city from a different perspective. They certainly push their "bar" offerings but they suck. About 6 beers (cans/bottles), 3 sodas, and 2 white wines plus small bags of chips. But you go for the beautiful scenery and entertainment, so I don't take off any stars for that. This is a very worthwhile activity for all ages and I highly recommend it.

My husband and I took a sunset cruise, even though we had an overcast. It was still fun, relaxing and cool breezes. Things got wild when I requested Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne. It brought out the 80's Hair bands rock teenage girl in me, now I'm just an older version of that heavy metal rock loving music and I still am🤘🤘😀. Always jump on the crazy train, taking you down to Paradise City, as you Bark at the Moon😄 that welcomes you to the Jungle. ROCK ON!

The boat in the crew were fabulous! Both the captain and his first mate kept us entertained and informed the entire trip. We had beautiful views at the harbor, the bridge, downtown, and ultimately the sunset. My only recommendation would be to bring a coat! Even on a warm day the wind from the cold water will make you cold.

Although we only saw a few glimpses of dolphins the tour itself was fun! I can’t remember the name of our tour guide, it might have been ben but the captains name was victor and they were both great. Boat was a bit crowded and I do with the seats faced outwards towards the water however, everyone did have a seat. overall it was a great time. I liked how they played music and only stopped to speak in a few sights instead of talking the entire tour, definitely more my preference. The sunset was GORGEOUS and I liked that there were refreshments on board. Our guide was entertaining and comical. At the end, everyone was able to get some photos taken in front of the sunset by the tour guide. I would definitely recommend this!

They took us out when they knew there was a very bad storm coming. After 45 minutes we were hit with hail, wind, and a torrential downpour. Everyone was soaked from head to toe. Basically a waste of money and no type of refund was offered.
