We enjoyed the old jail ghost tour. It was the right amount of creepy for us, without making us want to run out the door. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this as something interesting and unique to do in Charleston!

I love the history of the Old Jail and it's prisoners. Our guide, while somewhat over the top about the creepy happenings in the jail, was very informative. This was my 2nd tour and I plan to take my 9 year old grandson this summer!

The guide was good, but with such a large group (19) you could not hear everything he had to say. At the Heyward- Washington house the guide said our group was too large for the house - it was the largest group she had ever had, but tried to accommodate us. At 2.5 hours of mainly walking and standing with no bathroom break, the tour proved too long and 2 of our group had to drop out early. Very sad to miss the last and best house! We recommend capping the group at 15 at most.

Devlin was such a great tour guide. The way he told the stories was very interesting. Can't wait to do another tour.

Sarah was an amazing story-teller and told all the creepy stories we wanted to hear about the Old City Jail. She did a great job of telling the history as well as her own experiences.

Amazing tour. We had David, who was super informative, with a fantastic presentation and personality. Charleston's historical district is beautiful, but it literally comes alive with this tour.....highly recommended.

We took The Charleston Stroll and it was awesome. I haven't done many history tours in my lifetime but that's going to change. Thank you Bulldog Tours for such an incredible experience. David our history guide was amazing. I look forward to coming back and trying a haunted tour or food tour. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Randy I believe his name was, was a great storyteller who kept the chilling tales coming all through the various rooms. Rich with history, this tour is more than just scary stories, but you get plenty of that, too! As a ghost tour guide in another city, it’s always fun to take tours wherever I go and this one was a winner. Put this tour on your Charleston itinerary for sure!

We had a fantastic experience at the Old City Jail with Sarah! She did a great job sharing both the rich history and the spooky stories of the jail. We left feeling intrigued and wanting to learn even more about its past. Highly recommend this tour — and we’ll definitely take it again the next time we visit Charleston!

I was fortunate to attend 2 Bulldog tours yesterday - my first time with Bulldog. The 2 hour History Tour with Clara was informative and she was excellent! The 1.5 hour Ghost Tour with Jerry was amazing. I took about 30 pictures as we walked thru the Circular Grave Yard. I looked at them on the drive home...I guess our group was NOT there alone after all! PS This is my 3rd ghost tour in Charleston (4th tour was in Key West) and I have never seen any figures on my pictures like this. This is a first!

We did the two hour tour with a wonderful guide. The guy was very knowledgeable and also very caring about the entire group of people that were with us. It is a great experience for visitors as well as for those of us who live locally. Lots to know about the past in Charleston!

Lovely walk downtown along historic streets and properties. History in the flesh. Our tour guide Lisa was informative, easy to follow and entertaining.

The history of Charleston is amazing but hearing it with a guide and seeing the sites really make it special. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Bulldog Tours. Nice relaxing day!!!! Plus the owner is a Citadel grad!!!!
