This tour was so much fun and Penny was funny and knowledgeable about the history of Beaufort and the movies that were made there. It was a cold day and although we dressed warm she even brought blankets for us to use. Highly recommend this tour!

We enjoyed our tour of Beaufort. Although it was a cold day, we were provided blankets to keep warm. Our guide, Janet, was very pleasant and thoroughly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. We never realized how many films were produced in the area.

Gina was our guide. She had lots of history details. It was great. I liked seeing where many movies were filmed and the National Cemetery .

We enjoyed the history and sights of Beaufort. Our guide, Lawrence, was well informed and engaging. We had the back seats, facing backward, and feel that we missed things due to the fact that we couldn’t see which way the guide was pointing, which building he was referring to. I would only do this again in the forward facing seats.

My husband and I and another couple took a golf cart tour with Karen. She was VERY friendly and informative. I learned a lot about this beautiful little city. Take the tour!!

I am local and have taken this wonderful tour several times with visiting houseguests. All have been good but our experience with Kathy was outstanding — her knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to impart the history and spirit of Beaufort was a highlight for our guests, All this in spite of a few showers that she quickly accommodated with umbrellas and blankets.

Our 3rd time on this tour, we live in Hilton Head and bring visitors to this tour. It's a great intro to Beaufort, and good for folks who can't do a lot of walking. It's always a great experience, and I learn something each time!

We toured the neighborhoods of Beaufort NC near the waterfront with our guide, KC, a semi-retired former teacher. It was a very entertaining hour on the golf cart, seeing the beautiful town, its historic homes and the truly amazing landscapes they were found in. We learned a lot about the town and its role in the Civil War, leading to the freedom of local slaves and their subsequent participation for the Union Army. We also talked movies filmed there and visited a military cemetery in the town. A Harriet Tubman sculpture was viewed and her time in Beaufort discussed. The role of the local churches as war hospitals was touched on. The time went by fast and the town became even more special knowing its dramatic past

Janet, our golf cart guide, was a nonstop encyclopedia of Beaufort! Absolutely fabulous narration of the area’s history from pre antebellum to civil war to present day film shoots…

A really worthwhile tour. Lots of interesting facts and stories. Our tour guide was new and was very good. Well worth the cost and time.

Our guide shared a wonderful wealth of information about the rich history of this town along with the many movies which have been set here. She also explained architectural and botanical features. I learned so much. This is an exceptional tour, and I am eager to repeat it when I come back.
