    Evening Walk in the BurGH
What a cool experience! Annie was a great guide with a rich knowledge of history and spooky tales that have been passed down in the ´Burgh for generations. This is a great look into the Industrial Revolution in Pittsburgh and the beginning of an often bloody struggle at the advent of the country’s first labor unions. The city has stepped up its cleanliness! The walkability of downtown with its various architecture, stories of hard work, and business dealings of some notable characters was a greatly entertaining and educational experience. Thanks Annie!

    Excellent tour. Highly recommend
Fantastic insight into the history of Pittsburg. Highlighted many downtown building old and new and included many interesting stores and facts. Ken was a great guide, kind knowledgeable and kept a good pace. Highly recommend a great way to see the city rather than just wander around. Excellent

Terrific way to get to know a city! Ken, our tour guide and native of Pittsburgh, led an informative and well- paced tour. Stepping into buildings we might not otherwise have entered, really brought to life the history of this city and probably only scratched the surface of Ken's knowledge of it. Communication with the business prior to the tour was also professional and timely. Recommended!

A fun-filled history tour with spirits!
We have a lovely time tasting some local whiskey and learning about Pittsburgh. John was an excellent tour guide and made the tour a lot of fun. The weather rained a bit, but the tour was flexible and we managed to do the tour completely dry. Highly recommend.

July 2023 Burgh Walking Tour was Fantastic!!
Our tour guide Ken was extremely knowledgeable and knew more about Pittsburgh that we thought was possible and we live here in Pittsburgh. He spoke for over 2 hours and kept the group moving in order to cover all of the downtown attractions. Look forward to next tour. David & Ryta

Tour in area near Convention Center
Was a lovely summer evening to do the tour, with a refreshing breeze, gently paced walk, and a few areas to sit while listening to guide. Historical information of area, buildings, and people was interesting. Photographs were shared to support stories. Storytelling was good. Definitely a nice way to become familiar with this area of Pittsburgh.

Perfect tour for our first visit to Pittsburg
Marissa is an excellent guide for the city of Pittsburgh. As a lifelong resident, she is very knowledgeable about the area. Her presentation style is fun and compelling. The tour is a great introduction to the history and layout of the downtown Pittsburg area, and it was a perfect tour to start our first trip to the city. The walking is easy, and there are many stops for sitting while Marissa shares stories about the rich and powerful men who created lasting legacies in Pittsburgh. We highly recommend this tour!

    Great history lessons
This tour was enjoyable. We had our 11 and 9 year old with us. The gentlemen who walked us around was knowledgeable and had good information. This was more history lesson than ghost stories. The ghost stories were okay nothing super interesting.

    Amazing tour of Pittsburgh
Ken was spectacular. We went during the week so we truly had our own tour guide of Pittsburgh. So great and then we had a terrific lunch at Market square. Easy way to get 10,000 steps and see all Pittsburgh has to offer.

A Great Way to Explore PGH
My son and I had a great time on the steps tour with Laura! It was so interesting and filled with a perfect combination of learning, walking, stair climbing, and exploring. She is such a knowledgeable guide, and welcomed our questions on both historical and current events related to PGH. We highly recommend!

Don’t pass on this Ghost Tour!
Danny was our tour guide. He was both knowledgeable and personable. The tour was well organized and the stories and accounts were interesting and exciting. We also learned a lot about Pittsburgh’s history that we were not expecting. Happy July 19th (H day) to all of Pittsburgh! I think we would like to check in for a night at the William Penn Hotel and sneak up to the 22nd floor!!

    Delightful Tour
What a fun way to spend an evening walking around the central part of downtown and learning about Pittsburgh's history. Danny did an excellent job relating the quirky and spooky stories associated with many of the iconic buildings. It was relaxing and not a very strenuous walk. He was very accommodating with the group and took into consideration the different ages and interests. Highly recommend him as a guide.

    Highly recommend
Would recommend to visitors as well as those who live in the city. Their ability to tie the walk into the history of the city is superb. During the entire tour, I wondered how they gathered so many fun facts.

    More Historic than Spooky
My family and I try to take a ghost tour whenever we visit a new city. It usually gives us some history and some local culture. This was a great blend of both. We learned about the history of Pittsburgh and some of its more famous buildings and residents as well as some other people who were more infamous. We thoroughly enjoyed it! I know people might look for other things in their ghost tours, especially the true believers, so this might not be everyone's cup of tea. But for my family it was just what we like!

Took the Holiday Lights Tour on 12/5/20 with a group of friends. Corrie did a great job as our guide! She has an amazing talent of walking backwards and talking to the group about the history of Pittsburgh, its architecture and holiday displays. I'm born and raised here and never knew about many of the things she taught us about. Really interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended!!

My 12-year old son and I participated in the Holiday Lights Tour with Kane this past Friday. Kane was engaging, full of interesting tidbits about Pittsburgh's history, and brought hot green tea to share mid-way through the tour! It never felt like he was following a scripted tour, and he was able to answer questions without difficulty. Even though we only live an hour outside of the city, we had never done a formal "tour" of Pittsburgh and enjoyed it immensely. We can't wait to plan our next tour with Walk the Burgh once the weather warms up.

The day we went on this tour was COLD! Corrie was our guide and to start she brought tea and honey for her customers. Very nice detail. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and though the weather was so cold she made it fun, interesting. Tour was full of important information and fun facts about Pittsburgh and it’s history. The city is beautiful with all the Christmas lights and awesome buildings. I enjoyed it a lot. Will recommend it 100%.

Corrie was our tour guide for this trip. She was AMAZING! Her insight into Pittsburgh’s history, it’s current development and culture, and what is coming next was superb. Playful and interesting insights from both history and her own story as a local made this tour really special. I’m coming back to Pittsburgh in large part because of how welcome and informed I felt after the tour!

Though I moved to this city four years ago, but this was the first time when I enjoyed those lights closely. The Holiday Lights in Pittsburgh are really wonderful! I can't agree more. Also, through the tour, I was told about the history, the stories, and even the legends behind those old buildings. That was my favorite part! Recommend this tour, absolutely.
