      Beers in the burgh tour
Went on the Beers in the Burgh Tour for my boyfriend's birthday. It was absolutely amazing. The drinks were great and they were extremely accommodating for any needs we had. The tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. 10/10 do recommend!

      Excellent tour!
My 11 year old son and I had a fantastic tour with Kane. Kane was friendly, very knowledgeable, and fun. We had a blast and would highly recommend the tour to others, both out of town visitors as well as locals looking to learn more about their own city.

Great experience! Would recommend, Ken was an awesome guide.
We met Ken for the Walking Sports History Tour and he communicated well with us regarding some construction and closures that would impact our travel to PNC park. He was knowledgeable, kind, and had excellent stories to share. He did a great job weaving together his experience and stories from growing up watching sports in the city from Forbes field to the present. As someone who grew up just an hour from the city I still learned a lot from Ken. The tour was perfect for our group and I would highly recommend to both locals and visitors!

Mr. Alan was very easy to talk with and also provided great insight during our tour. He is very knowledgeable about his city, and is passionate. I am glad I got to take this tour to learn about the hidden gems hiding during the night.

      Historical walking tour.
Our guide, John White, was friendly and quite knowledgeable about local history and how it fit in with the larger picture. A gifted story teller, he took time to talk with us to customize the trip a bit for our interests and shared stories from that perspective. A wonderful evening, indeed.

When Pittsburgh’s Story Meets a Great Guide and Good Whiskey
We had the pleasure of exploring the “Whiskey Rebellion & Prohibition Tour” with Walk The Burgh Tours, and our guide, John White, truly elevated the experience. His deep knowledge of Pittsburgh’s history and his enthusiasm for great whiskey shone through every moment of the tour. John’s passion for the subject matter was contagious, and he made the rich tapestry of the city’s past come alive. Highly recommended for history buffs and whiskey lovers alike!

      Best educational tour ever
Ken was an outstanding tour guide! This was the best educational tour I've ever experienced. Despite having visited Pittsburgh multiple times before, I had no idea the city's buildings held so many fascinating stories. Ken truly brought the city's history and architecture to life!

      Fabulous!
A fabulous walking tour of downtown Pittsburgh with our guide Ken, a fount of knowledge about local history, architecture, and culture. This was probably the best walking tour of a city that I've ever had! Ken was responsive to our questions, but also had a clear plan about the information and route he wanted to share with us. We learned a lot about Pittsburgh, saw many of the iconic downtown buildings, and heard some of the stories about the people who helped make it such an important city in America. We developed a much deeper appreciation of the city he knows and loves. Highly recommend Ken and this tour.

Took 2 kids with me ages 10 & 13. Guide kept them engaged. As previous reviewers noted- a good balance of history sprinkled with spooky stories and some visuals to go along. The evening was beautiful and total walking 1.25 miles with lots of stopping in between.

Hannah was our tour guide. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the city. I highly recommend doing a tour of the city when going to get more information on the history of the city. We came for our honeymoon and it was a perfect day and addition to our trip. So happy to have found this on researching what to do within the city.

Corrie was knowledgeable, passionate and masterful in her subject matter.highly recommended.would love to do more tours with her, such as the whiskey tour. As an aside, when we visited the Heinz museum on Friday morning, there were only 2 other visitors in the building. I went to the men’s room on the second floor. It was empty and just been cleaned. As I was at the sink, several of the automatic toilets began to flush. Startled,I went to look,no one was there. On my honor!!!!!!

We have been on many tours in Gettysburg, New Orleans, and such but it is usually about 30 people with a guide. Now, due to the pandemic, they are limiting the tour to 6 people and we were the only group that night. As a result, our guide, Christine, basically gave us a private tour that lasted over two hours. She was outstanding and it was a joy to be able to walk around the city and see the sights. We didn't see any ghosts but that was fine; we had a great time seeing Pittsburgh with our "own" guide. Excellent job.

We went on the Black & Ghost tour yesterday, and had a great time. Shortly after we arrived it started to rain, but the company was well prepared for this and provided ponchos for everyone. Covid safety guidelines were also happening during the tour, which was greatly appreciated. Our tour guide, Corrie, was very fun and knew so much about the haunted history of Pittsburgh. We learned a lot on this trip and would love to try another walking tour soon, rain or shine!

Our tour was mostly couples. I had wanted more ghost stories, but the tour was committed to sharing only reliable stories (and had photos to back it up). The guide was very cognizant of safety, whether looking out for vagrants or ensuring street crossings were successful. One of our party was a local and some of the stories were brand new to her. So this tour is good for locals as well as visiting folks. Recommend going early in your stay so you can pick places to see while you're in town.

We really had fun with our enthusiastic guide, Hannah. We especially liked the small size of the tour group. The portable PA system enabled us to hear Hannah stories above the noise and the din of the city.

What a fun way to spend an evening walking around the central part of downtown and learning about Pittsburgh's history. Danny did an excellent job relating the quirky and spooky stories associated with many of the iconic buildings. It was relaxing and not a very strenuous walk. He was very accommodating with the group and took into consideration the different ages and interests. Highly recommend him as a guide.

We loved our guides personal story and we loved all the Frick references since my daughter just started working at the Frick Museum a month ago. It was great to learn of the different buildings and then the stories that went with each one. It was a nice little walk around Pittsburgh, not as long or far as I thought it would be. Its do-able !

My husband and I did this tour last night and it was a blast! Kane was our guide, and he did a wonderful job telling us about the history of Pittsburgh - very animated and passionate when he spoke. A really fun way to spend a Friday night, especially for two people who had never been to Pittsburgh before. Highly recommend!
