I took my mom to Amish Country, a lifelong dream of hers. To get the up close and personal insight into their culture was over the top for her. Our tour guide was Mike and he was beyond knowledgeable, not a question he couldn't answer. We were the only two signed up for the tour this particular day, he could have cancelled for low participation but he made a dream come true. That was my moms first, and likely only vacation in many many years.

The tour guide was amazing. He gave us so much great information. It was fun to be able to visit actual amish farms. Bonus- ice cream for breakfast!

Dale made everyone feel comfortable from the first moment he met you. He took us to places that were not visited by others and knew his local Information well. You could tell there was a real connection to the families and the community and the commentary as we travelled was varied and interesting.

Dale is the historian par excellence! We were feted to Amish history and the history of Pennsylvania which he delivered in an exciting and animated fashion that was thoroughly entertaining and informative. In fact, we met and interacted with an Amish couple who invited us into their home, and found that everything Dale told us about these people is absolutely and surprisingly true! Dale is a walking, talking encyclopedia on the Amish and Pennsylvania! What a teacher! We will NEVER forget our lessons!!!

We had a great time on this tour. The small group of 13 was just the right size to make sure everyone got to participate in the experience. They even provided ear pieces so you could hear everything the tour guide said clearly. Dale was a wonderful guide. He was very informative about the history of Pennsylvania, the Amish culture, and the area. I would highly recommend this great little tour.

My sister and I really enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area! We learned many things about the area and about the Amish and Mennonite communities!! Our time with an Amish family for a traditional meal was very special! The food was delicious! The family was very friendly and asked us questions about our lives and welcomed our questions as well. We spent time learning about how they lived and got a close look at the family buggy, the horses and other things on their property. This tour was something I was really looking forward to and I am so glad that I got to do so!! I would recommend it to anyone!

If you want to learn real information about the Amish this is the tour, we visited 3 real houses, and saw some of them working around.

The guide was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable and personable. The Amish families we saw and met were wonderful. I learned so much I didn't know!

This is a must-do for first time visitors to Amish country. Our group of 8 adults enjoyed a tour of the Amish countryside with a few stops at local homes and businesses. Our tour guide, Mike, has immersed himself in the Amish culture, allowing him to proved detailed information and thoroughly answer any of our questions. It is clear that he has strong relationships with Amish families, and he was able to share personal experiences about their everyday lives, customs, and culture. We learned a lot, stopped at some impressive homes and farms, and had a delicious ice cream treat.

Excellent tour. Instead of the restaurant buffets, enjoy your buffet feast with a great amish family. Highly recommend, would have done it again if we had time. Abundant delicious homemade food , great conversation and super informative. Thank you Aaron and Barbie...

Wow, an extremely knowledgeable tour guide really enlightened us on the ways of the Amish. The scenery was wonderful, meeting the Amish and some of their children was delightful and the ice cream was a real treat.

The tour met at the Lancaster information building that had plenty of safe parking. While waiting to embark, the visitor center had a lot of information plus art work by members of the community. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The group of 11 visitors easily fit into a comfortable van, Our host Sarah made a wonderful meal. I was able to purchase a jar of her home made pickles to bring home

Dale was an amazing guide. Sarah was a great hostess and cook. Enjoyed very much. Only thing I recommend is letting people know in advance of buying tickets they need to be able to climb upstairs.
